This research was developing a mobile-based service system through which consumers can collect labeled information on processed foods. This research collected and analyzed the labeled information of processed foods sold on the market and found that they contain abstruse standards for the information of raw nutrients and additives and are not proper for our database. Thus, to offer proper consumer-oriented information, we reclassified the information according to categories such as raw materials, additives, and nutrient information based on the food information standard of the current Food Sanitation Act, and added it to the database. Using this reprocessed information, this study developed an algorithm and applied it to a mobile-based service system, which allows consumers to use information on the labels of processed foods scientifically and clearly.

This study reviews the concept and protection system for the geographical Indication(GI) to support the Korea-EU FTA. A geographical indication(GI) is a name or sign used on certain products or which corresponds to a specific geographical indication or origin (eg. a town, region, or country). The use of a GI may act as a certification that the product possesses certain qualities, or enjoys a certain reputation, due to its geographical origin. In the WTO Agreement on Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual property Rights("TRIPS"). There are, in effect, two basic obligations from Article 22 to article 23 on WTO member governments relating to GIs in the TRIPS agreement. Geographical Indications have long been associated with Europe as an entity, where there is a tradition of associating certain food products with particular regions, Under European Union Law, the protected designation of origin system which came into effect in 1992 and 2003 regulates the following geographical indications: Protected designation of origin(PDO) and protected geographical indication(PGI) and Traditional Specialty Guaranteed(TSG). They have 5,000 articles for GI. We have the GI system and 40 articles rotating to registration by the law for quality management of production in agriculture. Cinclusinally, geographical indications could potentially serve as tools to helf holders of trade benefit more equitable through the mutual Acceptance for Korea-EU FTA.

국내산 오리고기의 차별화를 위해 가금류에 대한 원산지 표시가 의무화 되어 있지만 생산에서 소비까지 품질관리가 업체 자율에 맡겨져 있어 소비자가 믿고 구매할 수 있는 시스템이 아직 미흡한 단계다. 이에 축산물품질평가원에서는 '오리고기 등급판정'을 지난 2011년 11월 21일부터 시범사업으로 시작해 2012년 7월 1일부터 본격적으로 사업을 실시하여 오리고기 제품에 품질등급 및 등급판정일자를 표시토록하고 품질공정관리를 통해 수시 모니터링을 하여 소비자가 안심하고 오리고기를 구입할 수 있도록 하고 있다. 자세한 내용은 지난 10월에서 소개한 바 있다. 그렇다면 우리 식탁에 올라오는 등급판정 받은 오리고기의 등급판정 과정을 어떻게 될까? 이번 11 월호에는 그 과정을 따라가 보자.

In order to develop a model on the quality and nutrition label of Korean fruit plum, we first examined the quality and nutritional characteristics of Korean Plum, ChooHee. The contents of moisture, crude protein, crude fat, crude fiber, crude ash and N-free extinct were 92% 0.74% 0.64% 1.65%, 0.32% 4.29% respectively. Thus the total calorie of the sample was 32 kcal/100 g. The content of sugar, acidity and Vitamin C were $33{\pm}0.85 Bx^{\circ}$, $1.08{\pm}0.12%$ and $7.037{\pm}0.317mg%$ respectively. The principle minerals were S, K, Ca, Na, and Mg. Major free sugars were fructose, glucose and sucrose and major organic acid were succinic acid, malic acid and citric acid. The difference of contents of total phenols between peel and flesh pare were considerable. The total phenolic contents of whole fruit were $75.55{\pm}0.73mg%$. On the above results, the quality and nutrition label of Korean plum were developed in the first time. We expect that this study on labeling could play an important role to the quality control and marketing of Korean agricultural products.

The purpose of this study was to compare the pantyhose labels of domestic products which contain fiber content, size spec., care symbol, performance properties with those of foreign-made ones, in order to propose a desirable model of label description for the domestic products. The results were as follows: 1) There were differences in the fiber content and fiber mixture ratio of pantyhose on the label according to the countries. The pantyhoses made in Korea and Japan were described only fiber name on the label, while the pantyhoses made in U.S.A., Taiwan, and England were described fiber name and percent of fiber mixture ratio in detail on the label. 2) Most of the pantyhose size produced and sold in Korea were same Free size, but the products from other countries (U.S.A., England, Japan, Taiwan) were sold in various sizes. 3) There were differences, according to the countries, in the care symbol and related explanation of pantyhose on the label. The pantyhoses made in Korea and Taiwan were described care symbol only on the label, while the pantyhoses made in other countries were described additional explanation for care as well as care symbol on the label. 4) It was known that, unlike Korea, other countries were developing and marketing various types of functional pantyhose. For example, U.S.A. and England were focusing on appearance and comfort aspects of pantyhose, while Japan and Taiwan were focusing to develop functional pantyhose like anti-bacterial and anti-ultraviolet ray pantyhose.

지리적 표시 단체표장은 WTO/TRIPs 협정체결을 통하여 비로소 범국가적으로 보호되기 시작한 신지식재산권이다. 지리적 표시라 함은 상품의 특정 품질 및 명성 또는 그 밖의 특성이 본질적으로 특정지역에서 비롯된 경우 그 지역에서 생산 및 제조 또는 가공된 상품임을 나타내는 표시를 말한다. 본 연구는 지리적 표시 단체표장과 관련된 연구를 중심으로 문헌분석을 수행하기 위해 2000년부터 2016년까지 우리나라 학술지에 게재된 연구를 대상으로 하였다. 국내 학술논문을 수집하기 위해 사회과학 논문 데이터베이스인 RISS와 DBpia 및 KISS에서 "지리적 표시 단체표장"의 주제어를 이용하여 검색하였다. 검색을 통해 총 24편의 논문을 수집하였다. 문헌분석을 통해 나타난 지리적 표시 표장제도에 대한 문제점과 시사점 그리고 이론적 학술적 의의를 제시하고자 한다.
