This study proposed a framework to clarify a viewpoint of quality problems, and to consider reliance, of context information in ubiquitous computing environments. The framework is structured as a sequence of steps in measuring the quality of context information. The first step in measuring the qualify of context information is to determine users of the context information. This is important because the type of users or applications determines the type of context information and thus the methods of measuring the qualify dimensions and the thresholds for evaluating the quality of context information. The other steps include methods for measuring each quality dimensions to allow quantitative evaluation of quality, establishing acceptable quality targets. We selected accuracy, completeness, up-to-dateness, access security, and representation as quality dimensions and proposed their measurement methods and concrete procedures. We enabled objective evaluation of quality level through proposal of methods suitable to quality measurement of context information.

Advances in networking technology digital media, and codecs have made it possible for the Internet evolves into a Broadband convergence Network (BcN) and provides various services including Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) and IPTV over their high-speed IP networks. In order for the Internet to make a profit as traditional Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN), it must provide high qualify VoIP services. Therefore, real time qualify measurement framework is the most important requisite to provide VoIP service. For this, IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force) defined RTCP-Extended Reports (RTCP-XR) that extend RTCP (Real-Time Transport Protocol Control Protocol). However, procedure and method tot actually VoIP qualify measurement did not recommended nothing but defined item to measure voice quality. Our objective in this paper is to describes a practical measuring framework for end-to-end QoS of switched voice packet in an IP environment. It includes concepts as well as step-by-step procedures for measuring packetized voice streams. It also proposes new formats that extend RTCP-XR's concept.

본 연구는 NGN QoS보증을 위해 어떤 체계 하에서 품질이 관리 되어야 하는지를 도출하기 위해서 VOIP와 멀티미디어 트래픽을 중심으로 NGN QoS 관리 프레임워크를 연구제시 한다. NGN QoS 프레임워크는 QoS 측정메트릭스, 측정구간과 측정계위, 측정도구와 측정장비, 측정방법 및 측정결과분석에 대한 일련의 프로세스와 방법론을 모델화하여 운용현장의 NGN QoS 보증활동에 적용토록 한다. 통신서비스 품질은 스스로 보장되지 않으며 끊임없이 측정되고 관리될 때에만 목표수준 확보가 가능하다. 특히 차세대통신망으로의 네트워크기술 패러다임 대 전환이 전개되고 있는 이 시기적 중요성을 감안할 때 NGN QoS 관리에 대한 연구는 앞으로 지속적으로 추진되어야할 핵심 소재이다.

QoS(Quality of Service) is defined as "The collective effect of service performance which determines the degree of satisfaction of a user of the service" by ITU-T Rec. E.800. While the use of VoIP(Voice Over Internet Protocol) has been widely implemented, persistent problems with QoS are a very important sue which needs to be solved. This research is finding the assignment of VoIP QoS to deduct how to manage the control system and presenting the QoS control process and framework under NGN(Next Generation Network) environment. The trial framework is the modeling of the QoS measurement metrics, instrument, equipment, method of measurement, the series of cycle & the methodology about analysis of the result of measurement. This research underlines that the vulnerability of the VoIP protocol in relation to its QoS can be guaranteed when the product quality and management are controlled and measured systematically. Especially it's very important time to maintain the research about VoIP QoS measurement and control because the big conversion of new network technology paradigm is now spreading. In addition, when the proposed method is applied, it can reduce an overall delay and can contribute to improved service quality, in relation to signal, voice processing, filtering more effectively.

샤모아 프레임워크(Chamois Framework)는 독특한 컴포넌트를 지니고 있는 새로운 지식공학 프레임 워크이다. 이러한 대용량의 데이터 소스로부터 의미 있는 지식을 추출하는 지식공학 시스템에서 소스 데이터의 품질을 보장하는 일은 매우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 데이터의 품질 측정 도구인 DAQUM(DAta OUality Measurement) 컴포넌트의 설계 및 구현에 관한 주요 내용을 기술하고, 컴포넌트 기반의 구조를 가지는 샤모아 프레임워크에서 DAQUM의 역할 및 동작에 대해 기술한다.

본 연구는 기존의 평가방법 및 평가시스템의 문제점을 지적한 후, 영리조직의 성과측정 방법론인 균형성과표(BSC: Balanced Scorecard) 접근을 채택하여 지자제 웹 사이트 성과측정 프레임워크를 제시한다. 또한 본 연구에서는 이 프레임워크를 지원하는 정보시스템을 설계하고, 프로토타입을 개발한 후, 군단위 지방자치단체의 사례를 보여줌으로써 본 프레임워크 및 시스템의 적용 가능성을 보인다.

데이터 웨어하우스와 데이터 품질에 관한 문헌연구를 통하여 데이터 웨어하우스 환경에서 데이터 품질의 향상을 위한 개념적 프레임워크를 개발하고자 하는 것이 본 연구의 목적이다. 데이터 웨어하우스 데이터 품질향상 활동을 지원하는 프레임워크를 개발하는 목적은 (1) 다양한 요구를 가진 사용자들이 웨어하우스 데이터에 접근하기 때문에, 사용자의 요구를 만족시키며 기업의 목적에 적합한 품질향상 활동을 지원하기 위해서이며, 다양한 기업활동을 가장 잘 지원할 수 있는 데이터 품질향상 지침을 관리자에게 제공하기 위해서 이다. (2) 웨어하우스 관리자의 데이터 품질향상 활동을 지원하기 위해서는 품질차원이나 데이터세트 등과같은 품질향상에 필요한 다양한 이슈를 관리자가 인식할 수 있도록 하기 위해서이다. (3) 데이터 웨어하우스 환경에서 데이터 품질 향상에 필요한 체계적이고 포괄적인 안목을 제공하기 위해서이다. 본 연구는 다음과 같은 단계로 수행하게 된다. 첫째, 데이터 웨어하우스의 개념과 데이터 웨어하우스의 구축단계 및 데이터 웨어하우스를 구성하는 프레임워크를 검토한다. 둘째, 데이터 웨어하우스 환경에서의 데이터 품질의 기준과 데이터 품질의 측정 및 데이터 품질의 향상 방안 등을 고찰한다. 셋째, 데이터 웨어하우스 환경에서 데이터 품질의 향상을 위한 개념적 프레임워크를 개발하기 위하여 데이터 웨어하우스 데이터 풀질 향상과 관련된 기업활동, 데이터 세트, 품질의 속성 및 차원 등을 정의한다. 마지막으로 데이터 웨어하우스 환경하에서 데이터 품질을 향상할 수 있는 3차원 구조의 개념적 프레임워크를 제안하며, 나아가 제안한 모형에 대하여 데이터 품질 향상을 위한 프로젝트 활동의 사례를 통하여 모형의 타당성을 개념적으로 설명한다.통하여 각각의 제품을 비교하였으며, 둘째 소프트웨어 종류별 평가로 제품을 응용소프트웨어, 응용개발도구, 시스템 소프트웨어로 분류하여 평균값으로 비교하였다. 셋째, 국내외 제품별 평가분석으로 전체 제품을 국내제품과 국외제품으로 분류하여 비교하였으며, 마지막으로 총괄분석을 통해 가중치를 적용하여 전 제품의 점수를 비교하였다. 여기에서는 각 제품의 평균점수에 대한 차이를 95%의 유의수준으로 T-Test를 실시하였다.uted to the society, and what the socioeconomic impacts are resulted from the program. The level of transference of NGN is beginning as the operation of Access Gateway in korea at present, but NGN will keep developing continuously to the NGN integrated network until 2010. This research is finding the meaning and assignment of NGN QoS to deduct how to manage the control system and presenting the QoS control process and trial framework. The trial framework is the modeling of the QoS measurement metrics, the measurement time schedule, the section, hierarchy, instrument, equipment and method of measurement and the series of cycle & the methodology about analysis of the result of measurement. The objective standard of quality in communication service is guaranteed not by itself but by controlling and measuring continuously. Especially it's very important time to maintain the research about NGN QoS measurement and control because the big conversion of new network technology paradigm is now spreading.

This paper proposes a framework for classifying metric-based software quality prediction models, especially case of software criticality, into four types. Models are classified along two vectors: input metric forms and the necessity of past project data. Each type has its own characteristics and its strength and weakness are compared with those of other types using newly defined criteria. Through this qualitative evaluation each organization can choose a proper model to suit its environment. My earlier studies of criticality prediction model implemented specific models in each type and evaluated their prediction performances. In this paper I analyze the experimental results and show that the characteristics of a model type is the another key of successful model selection.

This paper presents an evaluation framework for prototyping multimedia streaming services including audio and video in a distributed and/or decentralized storage that can evaluate service quality and performance under various network conditions. The evaluation framework focuses on important indicators which measure and improve service quality by applying decentralized storage to multimedia streaming services that can mimic the scalability of the existing server-client software architecture and the issue of a single point of failure. The integrated framework not only measures performance indicators for evaluating the quality and performance of multimedia streaming on open source based multimedia content streaming services, but also adjusts network quality using network virtualization technology for comprehensive evaluations. The experimental results show that the integrated framework has low overhead in building and operating a decentralized storage with multimedia streaming services on a single host computer which validates the scalability of the developed framework.
