본 논문은 오디오 부호화 및 복호화 과정에서, 주파수 영역에서 표현된 오디오 신호를 차원 축소 방법으로 압축하여 표현함으로서 오디오 부호화 효율을 증대시키고자 하는 방식에 관한 것이다. 차원 축소는 행렬을 특정한 조건을 바탕으로 두 개의 행렬의 곱으로 표현하는 방식으로, 특정 행렬로 표현된 데이터를 좀 더 작은 데이터량으로 표현하는 것뿐만 아니라 이 과정에서 데이터에 내재되어 있는 추상적인 정보까지도 함축적으로 얻어낼 수 있기 때문에, 일반적으로 데이터의 압축에 좋은 성능을 보인다. 주파수 영역으로 변환된 신호는 일반적으로 (주파수 밴드의 개수) $\times$ (전체 프레임의 개수)인 행렬로 볼 수 있으며, 이 전체 행렬을 입력으로 간주하고, 차원 축소를 수행하여 신호의 압축 효과를 얻을 수 있다. 그러나 이 경우, 행렬 전체를 입력 신호로 보아야 하기 때문에 실시간 부호화가 불가능하며, 신호 전체 길이만큼의 부호화 지연이 발생한다. 이를 해소하기 위해, 본 논문에서는 특정 개수만큼의 프레임을 묶어서 여러 번의 차원 축소를 순차적으로 수행함으로써 부호화 지연을 최소화하는 방식을 제안한다.

This study investigated the effect of systematicity and presentation type of an analog upon students' concept recall and application regarding stoichiometry that included limiting reagent. Systematicity was manipulated by varing the degree of explicit causal structure, and presentation type was in either verbal format or verbal/figurative format. The four types of the analog developed were studied by randomly assigned junior high school students (N=137). Prior to the treatment, the Group Assessment of Logical Thinking was administered and its score was used as a covariate. After the treatment, a research-made conception test was administered immediately and four weeks later. The ANCOVA results indicated that systematicity had a positive effect on immediate application regardless of presentation type. In the application problem of retention test, however, systematicity had no main effect but interaction with presentation type. These suggested that the systematic analog in verbal/figurative format most positively influence concept application. Educational implications are discussed.

Charts can propagate information more effectively by visualizing various types of information. Due to this reason, many web developers often use charts when they display information on the web. However, using a chart requires a special dedicated software to install and it is difficult to share the finished charts since they are usually in raster format. The raster format images are fixed in size, therefore, experience image distortion problem when their sizes are changed. In this paper, we propose a web-based chart generating system using CML(Chart Markup Language) to solve the current compatibility and sharing problems. The proposed chart generating system first analyzes XML, Text, or HTML documents to extract chart information in the documents, and then it converts collected chart information to CML. The converted CML documents are displayed on the web browser using a vector method. The vector method has an advantage of protecting its images from distortion even when image sizes are scaled. The CML, proposed in this paper, is a chart markup language based on XML for modeling charts Information. If CML is used for presenting a chart in a web, it makes easier to share and to convert the chart information.

In this paper, we verify the relation between elements (active and inactive) of Russell's emotional dimension ("A Circumplex Model") to propose a new representing method. Russell's emotional dimension expresses emotional words (happy, joy, sad, nervous, etc.) as a point on the two dimensions (Arousal and Valence). It is most commonly used in many filed such as Science of Emotion & Sensibility, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), and Psychology etc. But other researchers have insisted that Russell's emotional dimension have to be modified because of its inherent problems. Such problems included the possibility of mixed feelings, the difference of emotion and sensibility, and the difference of Arousal axis and Valence axis. Therefore, we verify relationship of A Circumplex Model's elements (active and inactive) and find how to people express their Arousal feelings using survey. We finally propose new method to express emotion in Russell's emotional dimension. Using this method, we can solve Russell's problems and compensate other researches.

MPEC-7은 멀티미디어 자료를 효율적으로 활용하기 위해서 멀티미디어 정보 표현 방식을 제공하기 위한 표현방식이다. MPEG-7 메타데이터는 XML 스키마를 사용하여 표현된다. XML로 표현된 MPEG-7 메타데이터는 다른 도메인에서 재사용하고 의미정보를 상호 호환하는 데는 XML이 가지는 의미정보 표현의 부족함으로 인해 한계가 있다. 이를 해결하기 위해서 온톨로지를 사용하여 각 도메인에서 사용하는 의미 정보를 공유하여야 한다. 본 논문에서는 MPEG-7 기반 멀티미디어 디지털 도서관 시스템에서 사용하는 이미지 데이터를 RDF를 사용하여 온톨로지를 구축해보았다.

컴퓨터 네트워크의 발달로 인터넷이 실생활이 되면서, 온라인에서 인스턴트 메신저를 이용한 커뮤니케이션 방식이 확대되고 있다. 이러한 메신저에서는 이모티콘 및 플래시콘 혹은 윙크 등 과 같은 다양한 방식을 통해 감정을 표현할 수 있도록 제안하고 있다. 하지만, 아직까지 온라인의 감정표현은 흥미위주이며, 오프라인의 다양한 감정표현에 비해서 제한적이다 따라서 오프라인에서의 다양한 사용자 감정표현을 온라인에서 표현해 줄 수 있는 새로운 형태의 감성 커뮤니케이션 방법이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 온라인 인스턴트 메신저의 사용행태 이해를 통해서 사용자들의 요구사항을 파악하고 이를 통해 제안할 수 있는 커뮤니케이션 방법을 모색하고자 한다. 실생활에서 사용자의 감정표현 방법을 바탕으로 온라인 메신저에 적용하여 새로운 감성 커뮤니케이션 방법을 제안하는 연구로, 감정어휘와 표현방법의 사용자 조사를 통해 감정표현 방법에 대한 컨셉을 제안하였다. 우선 메신저 사용 행태와 요구사항 도출을 위한 사용자 FGI를 진행하였다. 사용자 FGI로 얻어진 사용자들의 메신저 사용행태를 통해, 텍스트와 모션을 활용하는 '텍스트콘'을 컨셉 아이디어로 도출하였다. 아이디어에 적용하기 위해 모션을 감정으로 인해 파생되는 행동과 체감각 요소로 구분하였다. 구체적인 표현방법 및 적용 요소를 추출하기 위한 방법으로 온라인 설문조사를 실시하였으며 감정어휘와 표현방법(행동, 체감각)을 추출하였다. 추출된 내용은 '사용자 참여 관찰' 기법을 활용하여, 사용어휘와 행동을 정리하고 구제화하여 그 결과를 '텍스트콘'에 적용하였다. 본 연구는 사용자들이 메신저를 이용한 감정표현에 있어 텍스트를 선호하고 텍스트에 대한 요구사형에 있음을 확인하였으며, 감정표현 컨셉 아이디어 '텍스트콘'을 도출하였다. '사용자 참여 관찰' 기법을 활용하여 기존의 이모티콘으로 대표되는 그래픽 아이콘 중심의 사용자 감정표현 방법을 보조해줄 수 있는 방법으로 실생활에서 사용자가 표현하고 받아들이는 신체언와 행동을 적용하였다는 것에 그 의의가 있다. 또한, 감정에 의한 생리적 반응 요소를 외적인 반응과 내적인 반응으로 구분하여, '체감각'이라고 하는 내적반응을 중심표현방법으로 삼아, 기존과는 다른 시각으로 접근할 수 있었다.

Formation of optical meaning shown in the picture book screen is the original expression method in that it makes you understand properties or characteristics of subjects more easily and faster adding another images to them, exaggerating or reducing them as well as shows the phenomenon that you try to deliver. In this study, I first prepared the framework of classification on metaphorical expression methods of the picture books' illustration through theoretical study on the optical metaphorical characteristics and expression forms to analyze how the metaphorical expression methods shown in the picture books for children works optically and psychologically to them. Also, I divided the expression form into 2 types to derive optical psychological perceptional response of children through the empirical survey and analyzed linguistic psychological response of children by type utilizing it as the survey materials of in-depth interviews. Finally, I think that the result of this study will help screen production based on personality and creativity of illustrators and, in addition, it will be utilized in studies and tests of the effective expression methods for students who learn illustration.

Software testing 은 소프트웨어 개발 과정 중에 1/3 을 차지 할 만큼 중요한 부분 중 하나이다. Software testing 는 Requirement 작성이 제대로 이루어져야만이 제대로 testing 을 할 수 있고, 그에 따라 정확한 결과를 얻을 수 있다. 그 만큼 Requirement 작성이 중요시 되고 있지만, 수동적으로 기술자에 의해서 작성되는 Requirement 에는 많은 문제점을 안고 있다. 본 논문에서는 Requirement를 Graph 하게 표현한 방법을 소개하고, 표현된 방식을 이용하여 다시 자연어로 표현할 수 있도록 Database 를 설계하는 방식을 제안한다. 그 결과로 Design 된 패턴들을 이용하여 Requirement 자연어로 기술한다. 이를 통하여 Requirment 기술 방식을 통일화 시킬 수 있으며, 기술자간에 의사소통을 원할하게 수행할 수 있으며, Software testing 의 중요 기반으로 제공할 수 있다.
