Presenting symbolic concepts consistent with the culture of the host country and international trends at international events will win the favor of the world and raise the image of the host country. The international event mascot symbolically represents the host country's unique culture, and is a good means to enhance the sense of belonging and pride of its members and to display the image of the host country in an outwardly. This study discussed the symbolic elements of the host country characteristics reflected in FIFA's World Cup event mascot. A total of 14 mascots of World Cup events were held from 1966 to 2018, and their materials can be divided into animals, plants, people and creations. The mascot was applied with the characteristic elements of regional specialties, the flag of the host country, symbolic attire, language of the hosting area, social issues and the mascot's dress, posture, props and expression characters of soccer events were used as symbolic elements. First of all, the implications of the research were that mascots were more strongly expressing the "football" signifying element, the theme of events, rather than regional characteristics. Second, the use of 'national flag' was highlighted among the elements of expressing regional characteristics. Third, 'animal' was preferred for mascot material. Fourth, mascots have become integrated with 'cultural perfumes' and play an extended role in raising social awareness. Implications derived from the classification of characteristics and symbol representation elements raised in this study will be used as a basis for the planning of international event mascots.

다양한 경로를 통하여 입수할 수 있는 지리적인 정보는 지도 흑은 해도, 표, 그래프, 좌표난 다른 형태 등 다양한 형태로 표현되고 전자해도도 이러한 다양한 표현수단중 하나이다. 전자해도(ENC)는 지리적인 정보, 즉 지리적인 이름과 수심, 등심선 등의 수치와 해도, 표, 그래프 등 도형들의 집합물로서 이를 전자해도의 국제규격인 S-57 format으로 표현하고 ENC product specification에 따라 체계적인 형태로 저장된 데이터로 이는 저작권법이 규정하고 있는 데이터 베이스의 정의에 부합하는 저작물이라고 할 수 있다. 이러한 전자해도의 발행 목적은 바다에서 안전을 책임지는 것이고 환경 보호에 기여하는 것으로 이들 디지털 해도 시스템은 off-shore 산업 환경과 지질학상의 행정과 같이 해상에 대한 적용뿐만 아니라 상업적 해운업, 해군 작전, 어업선과 레져, 선박과 같은 곳에서 사용된다. 따라서 앞으로 계속하여 증가될 전자해도의 수요증대 및 활성화를 대비하여 다양한 수요자의 요구를 충족시킬 뿐 만 아니라 업무의 효율을 기할 수 있는 공식적인 디지털 항해 상품의 공급방안, 가격결정 및 관리 시스템이 구축되어야 하고, 전자해도 데이터의 다양한 응용과 관련하여 공급된 데이터의 사용 및 변형범위와 데이터의 오류로 인한 피해 발생 시 책임소재 등의 문제들이 검토되어야 한다.

RTO(Real-time Object) 모델로 불리는 실시간 객체지향 모델은 컴퓨터에 의해 제어되는 실시간 제어기 및 이의 응용 환경 시뮬레이터를 정밀하게 표현하는데 유용한 모델로 정착되었다. 이 모델은 실시간 분산 컴퓨터 시스템과 이의 응용 환경에 대한 실시간 시뮬레이터를 통합적으로 설계하는데 강력한 표현력을 보여주고 있다. RTO 기반의 접근 방법에 의한 통합 설계는 RTO로 불리는 객체의 네트워크 형태로 표현된다. 본 논문에서는 이와 같은 설계 방법을 자동판두께제어기(Automatic Gauge Controller, AGC)라고 불리는 실시간 분산 시스템의 설계 사례를 통해 제시하고자 한다. AGC 시스템은 압연공정 제어기로서 압연공정 실시간 시뮬레이터의 소재 이송 및 압하 공정을 제어한다. 설계과정을 통해서 실시간 분산 시스템 명세의 추상화 방법에 대하여 논하고, 네트워크의 구축 과정을 통한 시뮬레이션 모델의 정밀한 표현 방법을 제시하며, RTO의 분산구조 및 명확하고 엄밀한 실시간 설계 방법에 대하여 논한다.

'천(天)'은 불교 세계관 속의 선인으로서 불교 전통 예술에서 많이 표현된 불교 세계관 중에 하나이다. 최근 '천'의 개념이 애니메이션 작품에 표현되면서, 불교 세계관에 대한 관심이 많아지고 있다. 불교 문화와 세계관의 이해를 통해 다양한 예술작품에 활용된다면, 애니메이션의 발전에 대해 훌륭한 소재가 될 수 있을 것이다. 이를 위해 형태 특징, 색채 특징 이 두 가지 시각적 특징으로 불교 세계관의 '천'을 분석하고 애니메이션 캐릭터 창작의 연관성을 분석하였다. 본 논문을 통해 불교의 세계관과 불교 문화가 더욱 발전할 수 있는 계기가 되기를 희망한다.

Guillaume Apolinaire and Filippo Marinetti who are pioneers of the early 20 century in point of breaking traditional typographic rules and making particular typographic communication styles,have considered as the same categorytypoillustration or pictorial typography-in other studies evenif they have' particular differences. Their chromcal and theoretical background, works, exPressive materials and methods and the values were analyzed through thesis, books, periodicals and internet materials, and researched the characteristics. There are clear differences in the view of arranging type; expressive materials, sentence struction, layout. The most important differences are concrete expression by Apolinaire and abstract expression by Marinetti . These differences and characteristics made the base of Dada typography and the concrete typogaphers as Bradbury Thompson and Herb Lubalin were influenced by Apolinaire, abstract typographers as Piet Zwart and Neville Brody were influenced by Marinetti.

The purpose of this study was to search the possibility to utilize materials in creative designs through examining the relationship between design materials and form by analyzing form by materials in the process of designing. In order to achieve this purpose, the objects to analyze designs were limited to chairs and lighting fixtures, and the period of analysis was also limited on 20th century. In this study, it was understood that changes of design materials and forms characterized by years. The period, when materials were used, was similar by design items, but the forms were different though they were same materials, and the same combinations of materials also changed whole forms. Also, it was found that design materials were affecting the change of forms if it is considered that whenever design materials were characteristically changed, forms were also peculiarly changed. Therefore, the result of this study might be utilized more effectively by design items and by structural elements even in each items, are arranged, connecting them with the trend of design.

최근 기후 변화가 심각해짐에 따라 수소 에너지에 대한 관심이 집중되고 있으며 이를 안전하게 운송/보관할 수 있는 용기에 대한 연구도 활발히 진행되고 있다. 특히 고압 가스를 저장하는 TypeIII 용기의 노후화 및 안전과 관련되어 결함을 인지하는 연구가 활발하다. 그러나 이 용기의 외각층을 이루는 CFRP 소재는 탄소 섬유와 에폭시가 복잡한 구조로 구성되어 결함별 탐지가 매우 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 음향방출시험과 딥러닝을 활용하여 CFRP 결함 데이터셋을 구축하고 이를 분류할 수 있는 모델을 제안한다. 특히 CFRP 시편을 직접 제작하여 AE 센서를 부착하고 파괴하여 파형 데이터를 수집하였다. 이후 표현 학습을 통해 데이터의 특징을 압축/추출하고 유사도를 비교해 결함별 데이터를 판별하는 알고리즘을 개발하였다. 구축된 데이터셋의 실루엣 계수는 0.86으로 높은 군집도를 보였다. 마지막으로 구축된 데이터셋을 실시간으로 분류할 수 있는 1D-CNN 딥러닝 모델을 개발하였으며 99.33%의 높은 분류 정확도를 보였다.

세계화, 국제화, 개방화 시대에 살고 있는 우리가 통과의례나 전통 명절과 같은 특별한 행사에 의례복으로 한복을 애용하는 것은 한복이 한국의 문화적 이미지를 강하게 간직하고 있는 한국적 조형물 중의 하나이기 때문이다. 더우기 의례복은 특별한 행사 자체를 위해 착용되었던 만큼 당시대의 내 적 가치를 가장 현저하게 표출하고 있는 복식으로 인정 할 수 있기 때문이다. 본 연구의 목적은 시대 적으로 현대 전통 한복의 기본 형 식을 제공한 조선시대와 그 이후의 복식 중에서 특히 분명한 착용동기와 목적, 복식을 통해 나타내고자 하는 상징성 등을 함축하고 있는 아동용 의례복을 대상으로 복식의 형태, 색채, 문양, 소재 등의 조형 요소를 고찰하는 것이다. 또한 양식적 특성을 살펴보고, 그러한 조형적 특성을 형성시킨 당시대의 사상적 가치를 추론해 보는 것이다. 구체 적인 연구 방법은 먼저 관련된 문헌 고찰을 통한 이론적 배경을 토대로 하여 아동용 의례복의 범주를 설정하고 현재 보전중인 실물과 또는 사진, 풍속화에 나타난 복식 자료들을 수집하였다. 그리고 당시대의 사상적 배경에 대한 고찰을 병행하여 이들에 내재된 문화적 가치를 추출해 보았다. 연구 결과 양식적 특징으로는 남아의 두루마기나 전복 그리고 쓰개류 등에서 기능성을 고려한 변형적 양식이 나타나고 있었다. 색채 역시 음양 보색이나, 오행색을 바탕으로 한 기본색의 구성 이외 에도 소매나 섶에 응용된 색의 배열이나 맞깃 전복의 깃에 나타난 색의 조화는 다양한 색의 조형미를 표현하고 있었다. 특히 색동 등에 나타난 오행색의 배열, 안감과 겉감, 상의와 하의, 외의와 내의에 사용된 색의 조화는 미의식에 관한 문화적 가치를 추론해 볼 수 있다. 더우기 장식 표현에 주로 쓰인 자연물 문양이나 글자 문양은 당시의 지배 사상이 지향하는 덕목 이외에도 전통적으로 내재된 수명과 복록, 부귀와 영화에 대한 내적 가치들을 반영하는 조형적 상징들이라 할 수 있다. 소재는 비교적 계절을 고려하여 사용되고 있었지만 의례적 성격을 지닌 외의나 쓰개류의 경우 계절적 구분을 고려하지 않은 경우도 많이 나타나고 있었다. 장신구의 경우는 많이 사용되는 것은 아니나 역시 상징적 인 가치를 표현하는 실물들을 미적으로 재구성한 사례들이 나타나고 있었다. 이상의 연구를 통해 아동용 전통 의례복은 형태, 색채, 문양, 소재, 장신구 등에서 양식의 다양성과 변형들을 알 수 있었다. 또한 적극적인 내적 가치의 상징들을 복식을 통해 표현하고 있었음을 알 수 있었다. 현대 복식의 디자인에 있어 아동용 의례복에 나타난 창조적인 양식의 변형과 다양성 그리고 복식을 통한 내적 가치의 반영 등이 현대 사회와 조화를 이룬 실질적인 복식 디자인 제시 및 창작에 작은 영감으로 작용하길 바란다.

The aims of this study is figure out the characteristics of justification patterns and mathematical representation which are derived from 14 mathematically gifted middle school students in the process of solving the spatial tasks on Archimedean solid. This study shows that mathematically gifted students apply different types of justification such as empirical, or deductive justification and partial or whole justification. It would be necessary to pay attention to the value of informal justification, by comparing the response of student who understood the entire transformation process and provided a reasonable explanation considering all component factors although presenting informal justification and that of student who showed formalization process based on partial analysis. Visual representation plays an valuable role in finding out the Idea of solving the problem and grasping the entire structure of the problem. We found that gifted students tried to create elaborated symbols by consolidating mathematical concepts into symbolic re-presentations and modifying them while gradually developing symbolic representations. This study on justification patterns and mathematical representation of mathematically gifted students dealing with spatial geometry tasks provided an opportunity for understanding their the characteristics of spacial geometrical thinking and expending their thinking.

The field of design is expanding and diversified in modern society while several new functions are presented by converging a variety of fields of knowledge. There are changes happening in people's way of thinking, sensitivity and behaviors as they are seeking for a new way of expression and aesthetic values. Accordingly, the black and white drawings are increasing as a new way of recognition of tradition or new materials. This paper is to make a study of the expression methods and their analysis of the black and white drawings, based on their historical and social background, and has suggested black and white expression methods as an aesthetic value consistent with the traditional oriental beauty and emotional sensitivity. This paper is also aimed at studying practical usage of the expression of black and white drawings shown in the TV-CM design, and expanding the scope of design by analyzing the conception, features, and classification of the black and white drawings and searching for a new technique or an oriental expression method.
