AUI(Advanced User Interaction) interface aims to enhance interaction between various input/output devices and scene descriptions represented by video, audio, and graphic. Recently, MPEG-U part 2 standardization for the AUI interface is under development by MPEG(moving picture experts group). This paper introduces MPEG-U part 2 standard and presents MPEG-U part 2 AUI interface system. The AUI interface system consists of user interface in/output modules and MPEG-U XML generation/interpretation modules. The former and the latter are for UID data handling and XML data processing, respectively. This system MPEG-U standards-based input/output devices and to improve the interaction with the user can be used as a framework. By implementation of the proposed AUI interface system, MPEG-U usage scenario is introduced and it is verified that the AUI interface system conforms to MPEG-U standard.

국제 표준 ISO/IEC 11179는 메타데이터를 등록하고 관리하기 위한 메타데이터 레지스트리 표준으로서 메타데이터의 공유 및 재사용으로 인하여 시스템 간 상호운용성을 보장한다. 이러한 특성 때문에 현재 많은 나라에서 메타데이터 레지스트리들이 구축되어 있다. 그러나 이러한 메타데이터 레지스트리들은 국제 표준을 기반하고 있음에도 불구하고 메타데이터 레지스트리에 접근하기 위한 표준 인터페이스의 부재로 인해 사용자가 상이한 메타데이터 레지스트리에 접근할 때 각각 다른 접근 방법을 사용해야 한다는 불편함이 야기된다. 이러한 문제의 해결을 위하여 국제 표준 ISO/IEC 13249-8 MRA(Metadata Registry Access)가 제안되었다. 이 논문에서는 국제 표준으로 제정중인 MRA에 기반하여 메타데이터 레지스트리에 접근하기 위한 인터페이스를 개발한다. SQL 표준에 있는 사용자 정의 타입을 오라클 환경에서 사용하여 메타데이터 레지스트리를 물리적으로 구축하고 메타데이터 레지스트리에 접근하는 멤버함수를 정의한다. 마지막으로, 메타데이터 레지스트리에 접근하기 위한 MRA 인터페이스를 검증하고 평가한다. 사용자는 이러한 인터페이스를 사용하여 서로 상이한 메타데이터 레지스트리들에 효과적으로 접근할 수 있다.

'스마트 항로표지 현장시설 고도화 연구'를 통해 항로표지의 상태뿐만 아니라, 다양한 센서를 통해 해상정보를 수집하고, 이를 선박과 육상 연계시스템에 전파하는 방안이 논의되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 스마트 항로표지에서 다양한 센서들의 정보를 수집하기 위한 범용인터페이스를 정의한다. 미국의 선박전자협회(NMEA)는 다양한 해양기기의 인터페이스를 표준화하기 위한 노력을 지속적으로 하고 있으며, 그중 많은 부분이 국제전기기술위원회(IEC) 표준으로 채택된 바 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 NMEA 또는 IEC 표준과 새로 정의되는 국내표준을 통해 센서들의 정보를 수집하고 선박에 제공하기 위한 방안과 시연 계획을 소개한다.

In this paper, we defined agent interface standard and messages for the control and management of agent. Agent interface is defined by messages exchanged between each component of the agent system environment, such as agent, agent system that creates and controls the agent, client that requests the service, agent master that mediates the service, agent manager that performs management functions of the agent. Agent interface is defined after the MAF of the OMG and the agent standard of the FIPA. Experiments are done for the application using agent interface and messages of this paper. The test network was the content distribution network using agent service, and we controled and managed the test network through the agent interface.

In this paper, we propose a policy-driven RFID data management event definition language, which is possibly applicable as a partial standard for SSI (Software System Infrastructure) Part 4 (Application Interface, 24791-4) defined by ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 31/WG 4 (RFID for Item Management). The SSI's RFID application interface part is originally defined for providing a unified interface of the RFID middleware functionality―data management, device management, device interface and security functions. However, the current specifications are too circumstantial to be understood by the application developers who used to lack the professional and technological backgrounds of the RFID middleware functionality. As an impeccable solution, we use the concept of event-constraint policy that is not only representing semantic contents of RFID domains but also providing transparencies with higher level abstractions to RFID applications, and that is able to provide a means of specifying event-constraints for filtering a huge number of raw data caught from the associated RF readers. Conclusively, we try to embody the proposed concept by newly defining an XML-based RFID event policy definition language, which is abbreviated to rXPDL. Additionally, we expect that the specification of rXPDL proposed in the paper becomes a technological basis for the domestic as well as the international standards that are able to be extensively applied to RFID and ubiquitous sensor networks.

현재 멀티미디어는 사용자의 감성을 자극하며 몰입감과 현장감을 자아내고 극대화할 수 있는 실감 미디어(Immersive media)로 발전하고 있다. 이러한 실감 미디어 내 시청각 정보의 저장과 표현을 위한 데이터 템플릿과 인터페이스들은 상당히 많은 부분에서 표준화되어 왔지만, 이와 달리 후각, 미각, 촉각 등의 실감 정보들은 관련 표준들의 부재로 인해 많은 연구 개발에도 불구하고 해당 서비스들의 상용화가 지연되고 있는 중이다. 이 문제를 해결하기 위해 이 논문에서는 후각 미디어에 초점을 맞추어 MPEG-V 표준과 현재 진행 중인 MPEG-IoMT(Internet of Media Thing) 표준을 사용하여 미디어 사물 인터넷 내 후각 인터렉션을 위해 필요한 표준 데이터 템플릿과 인터페이스를 기술하였다.

최근 웹을 통한 지리정보의 공유 및 활용을 위한 웹 맵 서비스에 대한 요구가 증가하고 있다. OGC(Open Geospatial Consortium)에서는 웹 맵 서비스를 위한 개방형 인터페이스 명세를 발표하고, ISO 표준으로 채택되기 위한 절차를 진행하는 등 가장 활발한 활동을 보이고 있다 본 연구에서는 개방형 웹 맵 서비스의 필요성과 OGC의 개방형 인터페이스 명세에 대해서 살펴보고, 국내의 웹 맵 서비스 표준화 연구로서 모바일 환경의 다양한 응용에 대해서 기존 OGC 표준안의 문제점을 해결 위해서 WMS 확장 인터페이스를 제안한다.

기업의 상당수는 웹이 가지는 장점 및 특성들로 인하여 기업의 업무시스템을 급격하게 웹 기반으로 전환하고 있다. 이를 위하여 단순히 정보를 보여주기 위해 사용되었던 웹 인터페이스가 기업의 업무시스템 표준 환경으로 대두되면서 데이터 교환 표준인 XML 기술이 웹 인터페이스에 적용되고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 XForms과 XML을 이용하여 웹 인터페이스를 설계 및 구현하고자 한다. 제안한 틀은 Designer, Viewer, Server의 세 개 모듈로 구성되어 있으며, 시스템 개발과 운영에 있어서 효율적인 작업이 이루어 질수 있도록 도움을 줄 것이다.

As market expansion and demand for smart phone have increased, the wireless data trafic is rapidly growing now. To solve this problem, common carriers in Korea distribute the trafic over Wi-Fi. Smart phones have multi interfaces such as 3G radio, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and etc and can utilize them. However these interfaces support seamless handover between not different interfaces but same interfaces, so that users couldn't be supported continuity for handover. In this paper, we describe the Media Independent Handover(MIH) services that is proposed by IEEE 802.21. The standard enhance the handovers across heterogeneous access networks and to optimize the service continuity during handovers.

기존에는 이질적인 GIS 데이타 소스간의 통합을 위해 랩퍼(wrapper)기술을 사용했다. 랩퍼(wrapper)는 외부 클라이언트 응용프로그램에게 이질적인 데이타 소스들의 통합 데이타 모델을 제공함으로써 데이타와 지리정보처리의 공유를 가능하게 한다. 그러나 데이타 소스들의 통합은 표준 서비스를 포함한 상호운용성을 지원하는 것은 아니다. 표준을 따르는 상호운용을 위해서는 표준화된 데이타 모델과 서비스가 필요한데 OGC (OpenGIS Consortium)의 OpenGIS(Open Geodata Interoperability Specification)가 이를 제공하고 있다. 분산환경에서 상호운용을 위한 기존방법은 각 데이타 소스별로 데이타 제공자를 개발하여 상호운용을 지원하였다. 따라서 중복 구현에 대한 문제와 구현에 따른 노력과 비용이 상당 부분 존재하였다. 본 논문에서는 데이타 제공자에서 공통부분을 추출 및 컴포넌트 화하고 데이타 소스에 종속되는 모듈은 CORBA 구현객체로 작성하여 제시하였다. 따라서 각 데이타 소스들은 표준 데이타 제공자를 통해서 기존의 데이타 지원 기능유지와 상호운용성을 달성할 수 있다. 클라이언트는 OpenGIS Feature모델을 기반으로 한 표준 인터페이스로 데이타 소스에 접근한다. 데이타 소스는 표준데이타 제공자와 정의된 인터페이스를 바탕으로 CORBA의 구현 객체 서버를 작성함으로서 중복구현 및 구현부담을 줄일 수 있다.
