The previous works for WLAN system based on OFDM is mainly individual study for independent frequency offset or symbol synchronization. In this paper, the performance of IEEE 802.11a WLAN(Wireless Local Area Network) system in the realistic indoor multipath channel models is analyzed with frequency offset compensation and channel estimation methods. For the performance analysis of the WLAN system indoor Rayleigh multipath channels are adopted, and the BER(Bit Error Rate) of WLAN system is calculated with y2 code-rate 16-QAM based on standard specification. From the simulation results, the difference of required Eb/No for BER of 10-3 is 1-2dB between the channel estimation and frequency offset compensation, and perfect channel estimation and no frequency offset.
Cyber security in the automobile sector is a key factor in the life cycle of automobiles, and cyber security evaluation standards are being strengthened worldwide. In addition, not only manufacturers who design and produce automobiles, but also due to the nature of automobiles consisting of complex components and various parts, the safety of cybersecurity can be secured only when the implementation level of the cybersecurity management system of companies participating in the entire supply chain is evaluated and managed. In this study, I analyzed the requirements of ISO/SAE 21434 and TISAX, which are representative standards for evaluating automotive cybersecurity. Through a survey conducted on domestic/overseas company security officers and related experts, suitability and feasibility were reviewed according to priorities and industries, so 6 areas and 45 evaluation criteria were derived and presented as final evaluation items. This study is meaningful as a study in that it presented a model that allows companies participating in the automotive supply chain to evaluate the current cybersecurity management level of the company by first applying ISO/SAE 21434 and TISAX overall control processes before uniformly introducing them.
The riparian vegetation is one of corridor type ecosystems, an ecotone and able to improve the ecological soundness by structural and functional link. And they act as habitats, sources and sinks of species, conduits, filters and barriers. This study was carried out to develop the vegetation model for the fluctuation areas of lake reservoirs consider of hydrologic and soil environments according to the vegetation structure of the reference ecosystem. To develop the case study, 2 sites within 10degree slope of the Daecheong Lake were selected. The riparian vegetation models were built by the results of GIS analysis, remote satellite analysis, field survey results, consider of water level, flooded frequency, soil and topographic index, land cover or land use etc. 1) study area varied from FWL to -5m of NFWL, 2) slope 10% below, 3) vegetations flooded below 100days yearly are Salix koreensis, Salix chaenomeloides, Salix gracilistyla, 4)land cover type classified wildlife grassland, abandoned paddy field, cropland according to landuse (or landcover), 5)finally model was constructed as ecological landscape forest. The model designs were suggested by 2 types in Daecheong lake reservoir. The model for the riparian vegetation corridors could be the basic and useful data to improve the ecological and landscape properties.

Energy management systems (EnMS) contribute to sustainable energy saving and greenhouse gas reduction by emphasizing the role of energy management in production-oriented economies. Although understanding the methods used to measure energy performance is a key factor in constructing successful EnMS, few attempts have been made to examine these methods, their applicability, and their utility in practice. To fill this research gap, this study aimed to deepen the understanding of energy performance measures by focusing on four energy performance indicators (EnPIs) proposed by ISO 50006, namely the measured energy value, ratio between measured values, linear regression model, and nonlinear regression model. This paper presents policy and managerial implications to facilitate the effective use of these measures. An analytic hierarchy process (AHP) analysis was conducted with 41 experts to analyze the preference for EnPIs and their key selection criteria by the industry sector, and organization and user type. The findings suggest that the most preferred EnPI is the ratio between the measured values followed by the measured energy value. The ease of use was considered to be most important while choosing EnPIs.

According to the Korean datum change to a world geodetic system, the EDM area should be readjusted to provide consistent product over the country. The data set for EDM area is extracted from the previous KTN1987 DB and checked for the moved markers in XY network adjustment which provides quality verification. Then, EDM data set for the seven areas are rebuilt for the adjustment. Since the data is still based on the old datum, the coordinates of the data are transformed by applying the coordinate transformation parameters. Here, the transformation parameters, which were determined for the conversion of 1:50,000 topographic maps by NGII, were used. For each EDM point, the geoidal height from EGM96 model is applied to obtain the ellipsoidal height based on the GRS80. The measured distance projected onto GRS80 is adjusted using BL network adjustment by fixing 2nd order or 3rd order GPS control points. The results from the readjustment show the minimum standard error of 1.37" and the maximum standard error of 2.13". Considering the measurement accuracy of EDM (1.6" corresponding to about 2cm) and GPS position for fixed points (2cm), this result is considered to be reasonable and it is good for the practical use.

Sub-bituminous coals have been used increasingly in coal-fired power plants with a proportion of over 50% in the blend with bituminous coals. As a result, the unburned material in fly ash has increased and is causing problems in utilizing the fly ash as an additive for concrete production. In this study, analysis of fly ash obtained from a 500 MWe power plant was carried out and unburned material in the fly ash found to be soot. The coals used in the plant were analyzed with CPD model to investigate the sooting potential depending on the coal type and blending ratio.
Prediction the performance of pavement provides proper information to an agency on decision-making process; especially evaluating the pavement performance and prioritizing the work plan. To date, there are a number of approaches to predict the future deterioration of pavements. However, there are some limitation to proper prediction of the pavement service life. In this paper, pavement performance model and pavement condition prediction model are developed in order to improve pavement condition prediction method. The prediction model of pavement condition through the regression analysis of real pavement condition is based on the probability distribution of pavement condition, which set to 5%, 15%, 25% and 50%, by condition of the pavement and traffic volume. The pavement prediction model presented from the behavior of individual pavement condition which are set to 5%, 15%, 25% and 50% of probability distribution. The performance of the prediction model is evaluated from analyzing the average, standard deviation of HPCI, and the percentage of HPCI which is lower than 3.0 of comparable section. In this paper, we will suggest the more rational method to determine the future pavement conditions, including the probabilistic duration and deterministic modeling methods regarding the impact of traffic volume, age, and the type of the pavement.

A mobile office environment using mobile devices, such as tablet PC, mobile phone is gradually increased in enterprises, banking and public institutions etc which is no limitation on places. It occurs advanced and persist security threats that are required effective security management policy and technical solution to be secure. For BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) environment, technical security management solutions of network control based, MDM (Mobile Device Management), MAM (Mobile Application Management), MCM (Mobile Contents Management) were released, evolved and mixed used. In perspective of integrated security management solution, mobile security product should be selected to consider user experience and environment and correct quality evaluation model of product is needed which is provided standards and guidance on the selection criteria when it was introduced. In this paper, the most widely used MDM solution is selected to take a look at its features and it was reviewed the product attributes with related international standard ISO/IEC25010 software quality attributes. And then it was derived evaluation elements and calculated the related metrics based on the quality analysis model. For the verification of quality evaluation model, security checks list and testing procedures were established; it applied metrics and analyzed the testing result through scenario based case study.
This study was carried out to develop and test a prototype program that recommends the nitrogen topdressing rate using the color digital camera image taken from rice field at panicle initiation stage (PIS). This program comprises four models to estimate shoot N content (PNup) by color digital image analysis, shoot N accumulation from PIS to maturity (PHNup), yield, and protein content of rice. The models were formulated using data set from N rate experiments in 2008. PNup was found to be estimated by non-linear regression model using canopy cover and normalized green values calculated from color digital image analysis as predictor variables. PHNup could be predicted by quadratic regression model from PNup and N fertilization rate at panicle initiation stage with $R^2$ of 0.923. Yield and protein content of rice could also be predicted by quadratic regression models using PNup and PHNup as predictor variables with $R^2$ of 0.859 and 0.804, respectively. The performance of the program integrating the above models to recommend N topdressing rate at PIS was field-tested in 2009. N topdressing rate prescribed for the target protein content of 6.0% by the program were lower by about 30% compared to the fixed rate of 30% that is recommended conventionally as the split application rate of N fertilizer at PIS, while rice yield in the plots top-dressed with the prescribed N rate were not different from those of the plots top-dressed with the fixed N rates of 30% and showed a little lower or similar protein content of rice as well. And coefficients of variation in rice yield and quality parameters were reduced substantially by the prescribed N topdressing. These results indicate that the N rate recommendation using the analysis of color digital camera image is promising to be applied for precise management of N fertilization. However, for the universal and practical application the component models of the program are needed to be improved so as to be applicable to the diverse edaphic and climatic condition.

In this paper, the live load model for the design of high-speed railway bridge is analyzed by statistic and probabilistic methods and the safety level that is given by the load factors of the load combination is analyzed. This study is a part of the development of the limit state design method for the railway bridge, and the train data collected from the Gyeongbu high-speed railway for about one month are utilized. The four different statistical methods are applied to estimate the design load to match the bridge design life and the results are compared. In order to examine the safety level that the design load combination of the railway bridge gives, the reliability indexes are determined and the results are analyzed. The load effect from the current design live load for the high-speed rail bridge which is 0.75 times of the standard train load is came out greater than at least 30-22% that from the estimated load from the measured data. If it is judged based on the ultimate limit state, there is a possibility of additional reduction of the safety factors through the reliability analysis.
