압력용기에서의 중성자 조사량 감소를 위한 반사체 변경 설계안 해석

  • 원자로 압력용기의 수명연장을 위해 중성자속 조사량을 감소시키려면 여러 가지 방법이 있고, 각 방법의 효율성을 비교 검토하기 위해서는 새로운 노심 해석 방법이 필요하였다. 본 연구에서는 고리 원자력 1 호기 반사체영역에 Radial Reflector를 삽입한 경우에 대해 노달코드를 이용하여 압력용기 표면의 중성자속 분포를 계산하는 방법론을 개발하고, Radial Reflector 설치의 효과를 검토하였다.

  • 고체 추진제의 연소율(burning rate)은 연소의 동적 기동을 이해할 수 있을 뿐 아니라 추진제의 성능을 판단할 수 있는 중요한 수단이기 때문에 많은 연구가 진행되어 왔다. 특히 AP계의 고체추진제 표면에서는 발열반응인 분해반응(decomposition) 이외에도 기체로 증발되는 증발되는(evaporation or sublimation)이 존재한다. 증발반응으로 인하여 연소율은 외부압력의 변화에 대하여 반응하게 되며 실험적으로 $r_{b}$= a $p^n$의 관계를 보여주고 있다. 즉, 연소율(burning rate)은 연소실 압력 P의 n승에 비례하며 여기서 n은 실험적으로 결정되는 지수이다. 그러나 압력지수 n은 일반적으로 온도와 압력의 함수이기 때문에 실험적으로 이 측정하기는 매우 어려운 일이다. 또한 QSHOD 가정을 사용하여 고체 추진제의 연소 응답함을 해석하기 위해서 추진제의 민감계수(sensitivity parameters)에 관한 관계식이 필요하며 이러한 관계식은 추진제의 정상연소율에 관한 관계식으로부터 얻을 수 있다.다.

Variation of Surface Crack Shape in Pressure Vessel Materials (압력용기 소재에서의 표면균열의 형상변화)

  • Cracks present in pressure vessels have been reported to be mostly semi-elliptic surface cracks. The fatigue crack growth rates(FCGR) of surface cracks in the pressure vessel materials, API5A-K55 and SPV 500, used in this study were showed to be different depending on the direction of propagation of the surface crack. An equation for the prediction of the shape change of the surface crack was obtained by combining the Paris' relations for each direction of surface crack extension and agreed well with the experimental data. And also FGGR in both materials were evaluated and prediction of the shape change of surface crack were made using averaged stress intensity factor.

  • This paper presents the impact damage behavior of filament wound composite vessels and the effect of surface protective materials on their impact resistance. Using an instrumented impact testing machine, a series of impact tests was performed on the base panels and the protected panels (panels with surface protective materials of rubber, kevlar/epoxy or glass/epoxy laminates) that were cut from the full scale vessel. And the impact damage parameters were used to identify the effect of protective materials on the damage resistance of composite vessels. Damage resistance of the composite vessels was considerably affected by the protective materials regardless of the shape of the indenters. Among the protective materials, glass/epoxy laminates was the most effective mean for improving the damage resistance of composite vessels.

Explosion Characteristics by Different Sizes in the Wall Surface Shape of a Water Gel Barrier (Water Gel Barrier 표면형상의 크기에 따른 폭발특성)

  • Experimental investigations were carried out to examine the explosion characteristics by different sizes in the wall surface shape of a water gel barrier in an explosion chamber, 1,600 mm in length with a square cross-section of $100{\times}100\;mm^2$. The sizes in the wall surface shape were varied by using water gel barriers with a cross-section of $100{\times}200\;mm^2$ and its were varied in the bottom of the chamber away 300, 700 and 1,100 mm, respectively from the closed end of the chamber. The flame propagation images were photographed with a high speed camera and the pressure was recorded using a pressure transducer and a data acquisition system. It was found that as the size of the wall surface shape increased, the flame propagation process and the time taken to reach the maximum pressure were found to be faster. As a result, both the flame speed and the explosion overpressure increased as the size of the wall surface shape increased.

  • To measure the pressure using semiconductor type pressure sensor in water or chemical solution, the sensor must be protected from the solution using proper packaging materials. stainless steel isolated type pressure sensor packaged with SUS316 can be widely used to measure the pressure in water or chemical due to its high corrosion-resistance and good performance in tensility and welding. Even if the surface of SUS316 has a plenty of nickel and chromium, the SUS316 is highly corrosive in acidic or alkaline solution. We coated parylene and adhesion promoting copper layer are 5${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ and 200nm, respectively. The parylene coated stainless steel pressure sensor showed good anti-corosive characteristics in various strong acids. The accuracy of pressure sensor wasn't varied after parylene coating with 0.5%FSO.

  • The PSP(Pressure Sensitive Paint) is a technique to measure continuous pressure distribution on medel surface by oxygen quenching. The objective of this study is to apply PSP which is measured pressure for analyzing that air-fuel mixing characteristics in SCRamjet combustor. Experimentation is performed at freestream Mach number of 2.5 and used fuel jet injection. The result shows that growing air-fuel mixed proportions by increasing in cavity size. Also, PSP results compared with conventional pressure tap and CFD. They are coincided with qualitative and the inclination.

  • 플라즈마 진단법 중 내부에 삽입하여 측정하는 단일 랭뮤어 탐침법은 플라즈마 특성을 정확하게 측정할 수 있다. 탐침에 (-)극을 걸어서 들어오는 전류를 통해서 이온포화 전류밀도를 측정할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 유도결합플라즈마에 흐르는 가스와 압력에 따라서 변화를 확인하였다. $H_2$, Ar, $CF_4$ gas로 10 mTorr, 70 mTorr, $CF_4$ 주입위치의 조건으로 플라즈마 밀도를 구하였다.

  • 새로운 플라즈마 소스를 이용하여 Al doped ZnO (AZO) 박막을 증착하였다. 이 실험에서 박막의 증착두께를 200nm로 고정하였다. 인가전력, 공정압력 그리고 기판거리를 변수로 하였을 경우 AZO 박막의 방향성과 결정성을 XRD로 측정하고 분석하였고 박막의 전기적 특성을 Hall measurment로 측정하였다. 그 결과 인가파워가 2W/cm2, 공정압력이 2mTorr이고 기판거리가 2cm 일 때 박막의 전기적 특성이 가장 좋게 나타났다.

  • QMS(quadruple mass spectrometer) system은 식각 및 증착 공정 중 chamber 내부의 잔류기체를 분석하여 다양한 실험환경과 조건에서 신뢰성 있는 혼합가스조성비를 분석할 수 있게 해주며 chamber 내부의 압력에 따라 hexblock의 valve를 통해 QMS의 내부 압력을 조절할 수 있다.
