Robust 3D Hashing Algorithm Using Key-dependent Block Surface Coefficient (키 기반 블록 표면 계수를 이용한 강인한 3D 모델 해싱)

  • With the rapid growth of 3D content industry fields, 3D content-based hashing (or hash function) has been required to apply to authentication, trust and retrieval of 3D content. A content hash can be a random variable for compact representation of content. But 3D content-based hashing has been not researched yet, compared with 2D content-based hashing such as image and video. This paper develops a robust 3D content-based hashing based on key-dependent 3D surface feature. The proposed hashing uses the block surface coefficient using shape coordinate of 3D SSD and curvedness for 3D surface feature and generates a binary hash by a permutation key and a random key. Experimental results verified that the proposed hashing has the robustness against geometry and topology attacks and has the uniqueness of hash in each model and key.

  • We obtained the sum of two curvature ($C_x+C_y$) in toric lens which two toroidal surface is the right angle each other. $$C_x+C_y=\frac{x^2+y^2}{2r_1}+\frac{x^2}{2}(\frac{1}{r_2}-\frac{1}{r_1})$$ and the sum of two curvature ($C_a+C_b$) in toric lens about the cross angle. $$(C_a+C_b)=\frac{x^2cos^2{\alpha}_1}{2r_1}+\frac{x^2cos^2{\alpha}_2}{2r_2}+\frac{y^2sin^2{\alpha}_1}{2r_1}+\frac{y^2sin^2{\alpha}_2}{2r_2}$$ and claculated the parameter S, C, ${\theta}$ of a combination power in toric lens of the cross angle including surface curvature ($C_x$, $C_y$) values. $$S=(n-1)\[\frac{C_x}{x^2}+\frac{C_y}{y^2}\]-\frac{C}{2},\;C=-\frac{2(n-1)}{sin2{\theta}}\[\frac{C_x}{x^2}+\frac{C_y}{y^2}\]$$ $${\theta}=\frac{1}{2}tan^{-1}\[-\frac{{C_xy^2sin2{\theta}_1}+{C_yx^2sin2{\theta}_2}}{{C_xy^2cos2{\theta}_1}+{C_yx^2cos2{\theta}_2}}\]$$.

  • Effect of Convex Surface Curvature on the Onset of Nucleate Boiling of Subcooled Fluid Flow in Vertical Concentric Annuli An experimental study has been carried out to investigate the effect of the transverse convex surface curvature of core tubes on heat transfer in concentric annular tubes. Water is used as the working fluid. Three annuli having a different radius of the inner cores, Ri=3.18mm, 6.35mm, and 12.70mm with a fixed ratio of Ri/Ro=0.5 are used over a range of the Reynolds number between about 40,000 and 80,000. The inner cores are made of smooth stainless steel tubes and heated electrically to provide constant heat fluxes throughout the whole length of each test section. Experimental result shows that heat flux values on the onset of nucleate boiling of the smaller inner diameter model is much higher than that of the larger size test model.

THE CORRELATION OF PRESSURE DROP FOR SURFACE ROUGHNESS AND CURVATURE RADIUS IN A U-TUBE (표면 조도와 곡률 반경에 대한 U-자관 압력 손실의 상관관계)

  • In this research, we studied the pressure drop affecting on the internal surface roughness and the curvature radius of a U-tube, which is used for the cooling system in PWR(Pressurized Water Reactor). Using ANSYS-FLUENT, a commercial code based on CFD(Computational Fluid Dynamics) technique, we compared a Moody chart with the Darcy friction factor changed by a range of various surface roughness and Reynolds numbers of a straight pipe model. We studied the effect giving variation about a range of various surface roughness and the curvature radius of the full scale U-tube model. The material of the heat transfer tube is Inconel 690 used in the steam generator. We compared the velocity distribution of selected 4 locations, and derived the correlation between the surface roughness and the pressure drop for the U-tube of each representative curvature radius using the linear regression method.

Registration of the 3D Range Data Using the Curvature Value (곡률 정보를 이용한 3차원 거리 데이터 정합)

  • This paper proposes a new approach to align 3D data sets by using curvatures of feature surface. We use the Gaussian curvatures and the covariance matrix which imply the physical characteristics of the model to achieve registration of unaligned 3D data sets. First, the physical characteristics of local area are obtained by the Gaussian curvature. And the camera position of 3D range finder system is calculated from by using the projection matrix between 3D data set and 2D image. Then, the physical characteristics of whole area are obtained by the covariance matrix of the model. The corresponding points can be found in the overlapping region with the cross-projection method and it concentrates by removed points of self-occlusion. By the repeatedly the process discussed above, we finally find corrected points of overlapping region and get the optimized registration result.

  • 영상 정합이란 영상들을 배열하여 대응되는 특성을 연관시키는 과정으로, 서로 다른 정보를 결합하여 상호 보완적이고 복합적인 새로운 정보를 생성한다는 점에서 유용하다. 본 논문에서는 MRI와 PET 뇌 영상을 표면 정보에 기반하여 정합하기 위한 영상 처리 방법에 대하여 연구하였다. 특히 정합을 위한 특징점 집합을 샘플링하는데 있어서 표면 곡률 정보를 사용한 샘플링 기법을 적용하고, 실 관심 객체의 볼륨 크기에 기반한 바운딩 박스를 생성하여 기하 변환을 수행함으로써 표면정보기반 다중모달리티 영상 정합을 위한 보다 효과적인 영상 처리 결과를 얻도록 하였다.

  • 표면 형상을 측정하는 방법은 샘플표면의 평평도, 곡률, 거칠기, 깊이 측정등의 수많은 상업적 응용을 위해 광범위하게 개발되어왔다. 이중에서도 특히 간섭현상을 이용한 광 표면 프로파일러는 표면의 3차원 구조를 측정하는데 있어서 subangstrom의 매우 높은 깊이 분해능을 가지므로 샘플 표면의 정밀 진단에 많이 사용되어 왔다. [1,2] 광 간섭 현미경은 기본적으로 광위상 변화를 검출하여 그것을 표면구조변화로 바꾸어주는 역할을 한다. 그러나 광위상 변화는 샘플 표면의 구조뿐만 아니라 물질 변화와 박막두께 변화에도 민감하므로 순수한 표면구조측정은 샘플이 단일물질인 경우에만 달성된다는 문제점이 있다. 따라서 이러한 광위상 측정과 관련된 ambiguity를 해결하기 위해서는 일반적인 광 간섭 현미경에서 얻어지는 위상데이터와 더불어 물질변화를 분석할 수 있는 다른 추가적인 데이터가 필요하다. 이러한 필요성 때문에 우리는 광위상 뿐만 아니라 반사율 분포도 동시에 측정할 수 있는 새로운 방식의 다출력단 호모다인 간섭계(Homodyne I/Q Interferometer; HIQI)를 구성하였으며[3], 그 실험장치도는 [Fig. 1]과 같다. HIQI는 in-phase and quadrature 검출방식에 기반을 두며, 이 검출방식은 PBS에서 반사되는 빛살과 투과되는 빛살 사이의 위상차가 $\pi$/4라는 실험결과로부터 달성된다. HIQI는 샘플 표면의 3차원 구조 뿐만 아니라 광학적 특성의 2차원 분포도 동시에 얻을 수 있다. (중략)

Evaluations of Magnetic Abrasive Polishing and Distribution of Magnetic Flux Density on the Curvature of Non-Ferrous Material (곡면 자기연마에서의 자기력 형성과 가공특성에 관한 연구)

  • Automatic magnetic abrasive polishing (MAP), which can be applied after machining of a mold on a machine tool without unloading, is very effective for finishing a free-form surface such as a complicated injection mold. This study aimed to improve the efficiency of MAP of a non-ferrous mold surface. The magnetic array table and control of the electromagnet polarity were applied in the MAP of a free-form surface. In this study, first, the magnetic flux density on the mold surface was simulated to determine the optimal conditions for the polarity array. Then, the MAP efficiency for polishing a non-ferrous mold surface was estimated in terms of the change in the radius of curvature and the magnetic flux density. The most improved surface roughness was observed not only in the upward tool path but also in the working area of larger magnetic flux density.

Annealing Effect and Stress for Ultra-Thin 3%Si-Fe Strip Wound Cores (극박방향성 규소강판 권자심 제작에 따른 응력과 열처리효과)

  • Magnetic domain structure and static magnetic properties were investigated in the ultra thin 3%Si-Fe strip wound cores when the strips were wound and annealed to relief the stress. The elastic and plastic deformation due to the radius of curvature was also investigated for the cores. At the as-wound state, the maze pattern domain structure was generated on the concave surface of the core and 180$^{\circ}$ domain wall was recovered by annealing 600 $^{\circ}C$$\times$30 min. After annealed by 900 $^{\circ}C$$\times$30 min, Hc of strip-wound cores was not reached to the $H_c$ of the strip even at the cores of elastic deformation region. It is necessary to relief the local stress remained in the core when the cores were manufactured for the application of ultra-thin 3%Si-Fe strip.
