(주)산호수출포장은 수출용 목재상자, 철재상자 제조업체로 지난 20년간 축적된 노하우와 경험을 바탕으로 꾸준한 성장, 발전을 거듭해 온 수출포장 대표 기업이다. 특히 중량물 수출포장 부문은 약 300여개 이상의 거래사와 연간 약 130억원 이상의 매출을 유지하고 있으며 지속적인 품질 개선과 기술 개발로 ISO 9001/ISO 14001, 그리고 철재 제조 부문 3개의 특허와 2개의 실용 신안을 획득하여 국제 경쟁력과 기술력을 고루 갖추어 수출포장의 전문화에 앞장서고 있다. 본 고에서는 (주)산호수출포장의 수출용 BOX의 소재전환에 따른 구조 및 공정 개선 사례와 수출품 포장의 고정방법 개선 사례에 대하여 살펴봄으로써 중량물 및 수출 포장업계의 발전을 독려해 보고자 한다.

㈜사임당 화장품은 1995년 자연사랑, 고객만족, 자아실현을 3대 사훈으로 최고의 품질을 만들겠다는 각오와 고객 만족의 실현에 중점을 두고 설립된 한방전문 화장품 회사이다. 여성용 중저가 브랜드인 로생시리즈 16품목, 남성용 브랜드인 선시리즈 2품목과 정일품, 여성용 기능성 브랜드인 사로매시리즈와 사임당 시리즈 15품목 등의 제품을 생산하고 있다. 본지에서는 사임당 화장품의 화장품 용기디자인 변천사에 대해 소개하고자 한다.

Behavior of a package of a microwave oven under the clamping condition is evaluated by tests and the finite element analyses. PAM-CRASH software is used for the finite element analyses. Results of the analyses are compared with those of the tests and accuracy is shown to be favorable. Under the clamping condition of the original design, severe deformation occurs and an improved design of the outer case and upper EPS(Expandable Poly Styrene) is proposed to reduce it. Face beads of the outer case are introduced and shape of the upper EPS is modified to reduce the deformation resulting from the clamping load. The improved design model is analyzed and its deformation is shown to be satisfactory. A prototype is produced according to the improved design and tests are performed. Results of the clamping test of the prototype show that the plastic deformation is removed totally.

PAM-CRASH software is used for the finite element analysis and the tests are performed according to the ISTA(International Safe Transit Association) specification. Results of the analyses are compared with those of the tests and accuracy is shown to be favourable. Under the drop-impact condition of the original design, severe deformation occurs and an improved design is proposed to reduce it. The approach presented in this research can be successfully applied to reduce costs and time required to develop new models of the microwave oven.

한국패키지디자인협회가 제14회 대한민국패키지디자인대전 수상작을 발표하였다. 이번 대한민국패키지디자인대전 일반부문에서는 (주)팬택의 '핸드폰, 슬림시리즈'가 대상으로 선정된 것을 비롯 총 27개 작품이 팩스타상으로 선정됐다. 본고에서는 제14호 대한민국패키지디자인대전 일반부분 수상자품들 중 일부 제품의 패키지디자인 컨셉을 살펴보도록 한다.
