본 논문은 고장포용 시스템에서 고려되는 결함, 오류 및 고장의 개념과 특성을 살펴보고, 고장에 대한 강인성을 부가하기 위한 공간 여분(spatial redundancy) 및 시간 여분(time redundandy)을 바탕으로 다양한 고장포용의 설계 기법을 설명하며, 또한 고장포용 시스템의 성능을 평가하기 위한 다양한 기준중 확률적 접근방식에 바탕을 둔 신뢰도(reliability)와 가용성(availability), 그리고 유지성(maintainability)에 대해 설명한다. 또한, 고장포용기법의 연구용 목적으로 개발되어 일부는 실제 활용되고 있는 대표적인 고장포용 시스템들인 FTMP[3], STAR[4], SIEF[5], C.vmp[6] 등에 대해서 간단히 살펴보도록 하겠다.

This study aims to emphasize the importance of social inclusiveness for evaluation and future development of social policy in Korea. In particular, this study emphasizes that the future of social policy in Korea depends on the level of social inclusiveness. Social inclusiveness can be measured by the extent to which social policy is inclusive and the level of citizens' perception of social inclusiveness. This study uses 4 frameworks (universality, progressiveness, life-long, and adequacy) of inclusive asset-based policy to evaluate the level of social inclusiveness of key laws and social policies. Key findings are as follows: First, Korea has established normative systems of laws and social policies. Second, however, Korean social policy has multiple problems in universality, progressiveness, life-long, and adequacy. To enhance social inclusiveness of social policy, this study emphasizes the 'socialness' of social problems. Korea has faced market failure, the high level of rate experiencing poverty during life, and inefficiency of social policy. If we accept the socialness of social problems, social policy should attempt to increase publicness of social policy. The increase in socialness as well as social inclusiveness may be fundamental for inclusive society in Korea.

First question: what makes inclusive design truly inclusive? Most inclusive design products are far from being appealing to their intended customers. This is mainly because designers are typically concerned with enhancing the usability, and not the emotional value that creates the connection between the product and the users. Typical solutions are larger displays and larger buttons, and these solutions often make the product less tasteful, graceful, and favorable. As a result, such products become less inclusive, veering from the original intention of the designers. Emotional design is not about making fun products, but about enjoyable products. Positive emotional design increases the affection value in products that enable users to create emotional connection with products. With the emotional connection, the user can engage in learning about the product as well as enjoy using the product. This can also resolve most usability issues by increasing the attention level and decreasing boredom. When more people feel that a product is enjoyable, it becomes more inclusive. Second question: Can't inclusive design have innovative value? Most inclusive design products are far from being innovative, and thus, they cannot create market opportunities. While emotional design approach increases value for users, innovative design approach creates value for the businesses. This will eventually promote development of inclusive products. This paper discusses the benefits of emotional design approach in inclusive design. It also argues how emotional design can help make inclusive design more innovative. Accompanied exemplar design process illustrates how emotional design contributes to inclusive design and how it leads to innovative products.

This study suggests a conceptualization model of 'cultural inclusiveness' organically connected to social inclusiveness, by expanding the implications of urban inclusiveness to the domain and relationship. Based on the process of necessity of relation, connection of space, and execution of act, the cultural inclusiveness could be connected to the formation of organic/learning relation, the creation of openness focusing on public space, and the practice of diverse subjects. Concretely, the concept of cultural inclusiveness is applied to the case of 'Hongdae-ap'. The recent Hongdae-ap is showing the value of coexistence such as the establishment of environment that could protect the diversity of individual subjects and groups(artists, residents, government officials, students, cultural activists, citizens, tourists, and etc.), the formation of public space such as 'Hongdae-up playground', 'pedestrian-friendly street', and 'Gyeongui-Line book street', social network service & horizontal network, and access.

This study amis to analyze the levels of citizen inclusiveness in Korea by the 17 local government levels. Citizen inclusiveness was measured by donations, volunteering, and citizen perception indicators. This study adopted the ideal type method of fuzzyset analysis. We found that citizen inclusiveness was classified into 6 types: inclusive citizen type, inclusive citizen-oriented type, donation-oriented type, volunteering-oriented type, citizen perception-oriented type, and individual-oriented type. This study analyzed key features of these 6 ideal types of citizen inclusiveness. More research on citizen inclusiveness is needed. Trends of changes in citizen inclusiveness and key factors on citizen inclusiveness will be examples of future studies. Inclusive welfare states need both government's efforts in enhancing welfare institutions and citizens' advancement in inclusive citizenship. This study concludes with several implications for further developed citizenship for inclusiveness.

This study aims to explore the possibilities of social integration focused on the inclusionary housing scheme developed in the United States. Inclusionary housing is produced by inclusionary zoning with planning power. One of the main goals of developing inclusionary housing is to achieve social integration in neighborhoods. The author investigates the origin, evolution, characteristics, and mechanism of the inclusionary housing scheme in the United States. Results show that the inclusionary housing scheme utilizes market mechanism such as the incentives of floor ratio bonus, fast tract permit approach as well as the affordability obligation for the low-income households. Considering the policy orientation in the United States toward market mechanism, the inclusionary housing program has played a significant role in producing and preserving affordable housing for the underprivileged in affluent neighborhoods and has produced meaningful results in academic achievements, better job outcomes, health results, and social interaction even though it has been also criticized with by its superficiality. Finally, the author draws policy implications for housing policy in Korea from the lessons and limitations of the inclusionary housing mechanism.

Since the enactment of the School Meal Support Act in 2009, South Korean dietary education has been evolving, placing health, environment, and consideration as its core values. The 3rd Basic Plan for Dietary Education (2020-2024) aims to achieve a sustainable dietary lifestyle that civic agriculture for collective consumption, healthy citizens, and an inclusive society. However, the digital civilization of the Fourth Industrial Revolution is significantly impacting dietary education in schools. Therefore, this study examines sustainable dietary education content in South Korean school meals, diagnoses the phenomena of dietary education facing digital transformation in education due to the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and explores directions for inclusive dietary education through concrete structures and content systems for inclusive dietary education that foster sustainable dietary capabilities. To achieve inclusive dietary education, a structure and system that allow cognitive, normative, and practical learning to be combined in an inclusive way is required. Furthermore, to practice sustainable dietary education, alternative approaches that emphasize the development of learners' core competencies are necessary in the direction of inclusive dietary education that fosters inclusivity.

다중 지역 이동 에이전트 컴퓨팅 시스템에서는 단일 지역으로 구성된 시스템에 비해서 호스트의 결함이나 호스트 사이의 통신 결함 발생 확률이 높아, 안정된 시스템 설계에 있어서 이동 에이전트의 결함을 검출하고 이를 복구하는 결함 포용 기법은 매우 중요한 고려 사항이다. 이동 에이전트의 안정적인 연산 수행을 보장하기 위한 기존의 결함 포용 기법들은 크게 시간적 복제 기반 기법(Temporal Replication Based Approach: TRBA)와 공간적 복제 기반 기법(Spatial Replication Based Approach: SRBA)으로 구분 지을 수 있으나, 다중 지역으로 구성된 이동 에이전트 시스템과 같은 복잡한 시스템에서는 낮은 결함 포용 비용이 요구되는 TRBA가 보다 적합하다. 그러나 기존의 TRBA에서는 이동 에이전트의 비멱등(non-idempotent) 연산 수행을 지원하기 위해 단일 수행 (exactly-once execution) 특성을 보장했지만, 이동 에이전트가 순환적 작업 경로를 가지는 연산 수행 시에는 작업을 완결하지 못하는 복귀월산 문제(comeback-skip problem)가 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 플래그와, 히스토리 필드, 파손 길드를 도입하여 복귀월산 문제를 해결하는 시간적 복제 기반 결함 포용 기법을 제안한다. 이 기법은 이동 에이전트의 다양한 작업 수행을 지원함으로써 이동 에이전트의 작업 수행 영역을 확대한다.

고신뢰도의 요구를 보장하는 병렬 구조의 분산시스템의 사용이 증가함에 따라 네트워크 상에서 메시지전달을 방해하는 요소고장의 영향을 최소화시킬 수 있는 고장포용 라우팅에 대한 중요성이 부각되고 있다. 그러나, 네트워크의 복잡한 환경 때문에 요소고장을 극복하기 위한 고장포용 라우팅 알고리즘의 설계는 쉬운 일이 아니다. 본 논문에서는 2차원 메쉬 네트워크에 적용되는 최적의 고장포용 라우팅 알고리즘을 설계하기 위하여 관련 응용분야에서 그 유용성이 검증된 유전 알고리즘을 이용한다. 제안된 알고리즘은 wormhole 라우팅 방식을 사용하며, 교착상태를 없애기 위하여 하나의 물리적 채널을 공유하는 4개의 가상채널을 사용한다. 마지막으로, 시뮬레이션을 통하여 제안된 알고리즘이 기존의 다른 고장포용 라우팅 알고리즘보다 우수함을 증명한다.

인터넷과 같은 대량의 정보에 대응할 수 있는 고성능 정보검색시스템을 구축하기 위해서 지금까지는 고가의 중대형 컴퓨터를 주로 활용하여 왔으나, 최근 가격대 성능비가 높은 PC 클러스터 시스템을 활용하는 방안이 경제적인 대안으로 떠오르고 있다. PC 클러스터 시스템에서는 전체 작업을 개별 노드 즉 PC에 가능한 균등하게 분배함으로써 성능을 극대화 하고자 하는데, 하나 또는 그 이상의 노드에 문제가 발생하는 경우 전체시스템의 성능이 매우 저하되거나 정상적인 서비스를 제공하기가 어려워진다. 이러한 상황에서 고장 포용성의 달성은 1년 365일 지속적으로 운영되어야 하는 많은 응용분야에서 반드시 해결해야 하는 문제이다. 본 논문에서는 PC 클러스터를 활용한 병렬정보검색시스템에서 고장 포용성을 극대화하기 위하여 각 노드의 색인어 역파일을 이웃 노드에 효율적으로 중복하여 저장하는 방안과 이를 활용한 효과적인 병렬정보검색 방법을 제안한다. 대규모 말뭉치를 활용한 실험결과 본 논문에서 제시하는 고장 포용성 향상을 위한 색인어 역파일 중복 저장방안이 충분한 효율성과 실용성이 있음을 확인하였다.
