본 연구의 목적은 평생교육에 대한 참여 동기와 관여가 평생교육 학습자의 만족, 지속 수강 의도, 그리고 권유 의도에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 살펴보는데 있다. 평생교육 참여 동기는 실용적, 오락적, 관계적, 목표지향적 참여 동기로 구분하고, 평생교육에 대한 관여는 상황적 관여와 지속적 관여로 구분하였다. 정량적 연구 결과, 실용적 참여 동기와 오락적 참여 동기는 평생교육에 대한 상황적 관여와, 목표지향적 참여 동기와 관계적 참여 동기는 평생교육에 대한 지속적 관여와 상관관계가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 아울러, 교수 방법에 대한 만족에는 실용적 동기가, 시설 편리성에 대한 만족에는 오락적 동기가, 소통에 대한 만족에는 관계적 동기가, 콘텐츠 품질에 대한 만족에는 목표지향적 동기가 상대적으로 더 높은 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 평생교육에 대한 상황적 관여는 콘텐츠 품질에 대한 만족에, 지속적 관여는 교수 방법에 대한 만족에 상대적으로 더 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 평생교육 지속 수강 의도에는 콘텐츠 품질에 대한 만족이, 평생교육 권유의도에는 시설편리에 대한 만족이 상대적으로 더 큰 영향력을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

본 연구는 공공도서관의 평생교육 기능이 날로 확장되고 있는 상태에서 평생교육을 담당해야 하는 당위성을 공공도서관과 평생교육의 관계를 통해 논거를 제시하였다. 이 논거를 기반으로 해외 및 국내에서 이루어지고 있는 평생교육의 추세와 경향을 교육의 내용. 대상, 연계, 기반시설 등을 고찰해봄으로써 향후 공공도서관에서의 평생교육체제를 확립하는데 필요한 기초자료를 제공하였다.

The purpose of this study is to clarify the actual conditions of the use and the plan of lifelong education facilities in national university of industry. This article discuses about the basic characteristics of the plan composition and the education programs of 8 lifelong education facilities in national university of industry. The results of this study are summarized as follows; 1) Needed spaces should functionally designed considering that basic and culture lecture, occupation skill and expert education, hobby/amusement/leisure, health/sanitation/sports, tradition culture understanding education among education programs of lifelong education facilities in universities are mainly constituted and occupation skill and expert education among theses are occupied with the most ratio. 2) Expansion of facilities is agent considering the number of students and lectures to be 3.0% from 1.7% of average ratio of continuous dimensions lifelong education facilities of each universities and composition following scale of the lecture room is set by organizing the number of students per lecture to small groups.

본 연구는 평생교육사의 임파워먼트가 직무만족과 조직몰입에 미치는 영향을 분석하는데 연구의 목적이 있다. 따라서 대전지역 평생교육시설에 근무하는 160명을 대상으로 SPSS 20.0을 활용하여 통계분석을 실시하였다. 통계분석은 표본의 인구통계학적 특성을 파악하기 위한 빈도분석, 기술통계 분석, 측정변수의 타당성을 확인하기 위해 Varimax 직각회전방법을 이용한 요인분석, 변수들 간의 내적일관성을 통한 신뢰성을 확인하기 위하여 Cronbach's ${\alpha}$계수를 이용한 신뢰성 분석, 그리고 가설검증에 앞서 설정된 변수들 간 상호관련성을 확인하고자 Pearson의 상관관계 분석을 실시한 후 회귀분석을 통해 가설을 검증하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 인구통계학적 특성에 따른 기술통계 분석 결과 임파워먼트는 성별, 연령, 교육수준, 고용형태, 일일근무시간, 월 소득별 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 임파워먼트는 직무만족에 유의적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나 임파워먼트 수준이 높을수록 직무만족 수준이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 임파워먼트는 조직몰입에 유의적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 임파워먼트 수준이 높을수록 조직몰입 수준이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 평생교육시설에 근무하는 평생교육사에게 임파워먼트를 부여하는 것이 필요하다는 관점을 반영한 본 연구에서는 개인의 역량과 능력을 개발할 수 있게 하여 직무만족과 조직몰입을 증대시켜 평생교육시설의 성장과 발전에 도움이 되는 연구의 시사점을 제시하고자 한다.
