Floorplanning with Obstacles(Preplaced Block) based on CBL (고정블록을 포함한 CBL 기반 평면계획)

  • In this paper we propose a new CBL-based floorplan method that accommodates pre-placed blocks. We identify the problem of the previous CBL-based pre-placed block floorplan method, and suggest the solution method of this problem. In our method, CBLs consisting of only free blocks are perturbed and maintained during the simulated annealing. Pre-placed blocks are inserted during packing in such a way that the topology of the CBL after insertion of a pre-placed block resembles the topology before insertion. Thus, even with the inclusion of pre-placed blocks, the searching effort via simulated annealing yields acceptable results. Experimental results show that our floorplan method places pre-placed blocks effectively and efficiently.

Study of the Dormitory Architecture of Governmental Secondary Schools in the Japanese Colonial Era (일제 강점기 관립 중등학교 기숙사 건축에 관한 연구)

  • This study reviewed the planning characteristics of dormitories for secondary schools in the Japanese Colonial Era by analyzing the architectural drawings collected by the National Archives of Korea. The dormitory was one of the essential facilities in secondary schools but there have been few studies in this area. The analysis items were the site plan and the planning characteristics of student bedrooms, dining hall, and supervisor's area, which were the main elements of the dormitory. The results of this study were summarized as follows. 1) Generally, the dormitory area was placed in the rear of buildings for teaching with a close connection. 2) The student bedroom wings were laid out in parallel to the south as a rule making the typical site plan pattern for a dormitory, whereas the other parts of dormitory, such as the dining hall and supervisor's area were placed in the site conditions. 3) Generally, the unit plans of bedrooms for Korean schools were the ondol type and were small in size, whereas those for Japanese were the tatami type and large in size with separate study and sleeping areas. 4) The dining hall annex was made up of a dining hall and kitchen-bathroom area in general. For Japanese schools, the school store area was added to these areas. The typical shapes of dining hall plans were narrow and long with an adjacent corridor, so the overall plan of the dining hall annex was like that of a single-corridor type block plan. 5) The supervisor's area was a smaller part of the dormitory but it was considered to be a symbolic part of the whole dormitory in site planning and design.

A Throughput Computation Method for Throughput Driven Floorplan (처리량 기반 평면계획을 위한 처리량 계산 방법)

  • As VLSI technology scales to nano-meter order, relatively increasing global wire-delay has added complexity to system design. Global wire-delay could be reduced by inserting pipeline-elements onto wire but it should be coupled with LIP(Latency Intensive Protocol) to have correct system timing. This combination however, drops the throughput although it ensures system functionality. In this paper, we propose a computation method useful for minimizing throughput deterioration when pipeline-elements are inserted to reduce global wire-delay. We apply this method while placing blocks in the floorplanning stage. When the necessary for this computation is reflected on the floorplanning cost function, the throughput increases by 16.97% on the average when compared with the floorplanning that uses the conventional heuristic throughput-evaluation-method.

  • 본 연구는 해양수산부가 지원하는 해외항만개발협력사업의 일환으로, 중미국가인 엘살바도르 주요 2개항의 항만개발 타당성조사 및 기본계획 수립을 목적으로 하되 장래 해외항만개발사업에서 참고할 수 있도록 정리하였다. 주요 내용으로는 국가 일반현황 및 지역분석, 인프라 현황 분석, 시장조사 및 물동량 수요추정, 항만 개발규모 및 중장기 개발방향 제시, 경제성 및 재무성 분석을 통해 수원국에 필요한 국가 상위계획 자료를 제공하는 것이며, 연구결과가 계획에만 그치지 않도록 사업시행을 위한 재원조달 방안 및 항만 활성화 방안 등 실질적 사업현실화 방안을 제시하였다.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze and compare the characteristics of floor plan of Underwood hall, Appenzeller hall, and Stimson hall in Yonsei University. These buildings in Yonsei University are the representative higher educational institution buildings that were constructed by Western missionaries during the Japanese colonial period. These buildings were designed by the master plan that had been made before the construction. Therefore, these buildings have many similarities but each building has individual characteristics. This study focused on two parts. One is the characteristics of the shared space, such as like corridor, hall, and stairs. These characteristics show the differences between each building because they used different methods and locations of shared space and rooms for the floor plan to include the different functions. The second is the relationships with the floor plan and other plans like the master plan, elevation plan, and structural plan. These relationships show that each building has unique characteristics that are related to the floor plan.

  • ‘스웨덴 룬트공과대학에서는 건물계획에 있어서 컴퓨터해법의 사용에 대한 연구사업을 수행하였으며, 이 사업은 스웨덴국립건축연구소의 경제적 지수으로 이루어졌다. 본고에서 룬트대학의 연구생인 Cole씨는 이 사업의 일부를 기술하고 있다. 그는 여기서 주로 1층이상에 대한 Whitehead와 Eldars의 산술해법과 컴퓨터에 의하여 작성된 평면배치의 동선 정의에 따른 해법의 개발에 관하여 논한다. 프로그램이 그 일부를 차지하고 있는 설계체계는 각종 컴퓨터해법을 종합할 수 있도록 하는 체계개발의 시도라고 할수 있으며 이러한 종류의 시스템은 사실상 해법에 대한 직접적인 정보의 이용과 함께 건물의 다각적인 설계를 가능케 한다.

A Study on Museum's Rest Area in Korea and Japan (한·일 뮤지엄 휴식공간에 관한 연구)

  • This study covers museum rest areas among the methods that reduce museum fatigue. The subjects of the study were Seoul branch of the representative National Museum of Contemporary Art and National Museum of Korea. These museums were compared and analyzed with The National Art Center of Tokyo and Tokyo National Museum. The first research step was the analysis of museums' floor plan, and the second step was the tracing survey of visitors' movement. The result of this study was as follows. The National Art Center of Tokyo and Tokyo National Museum had the rest space within the visitors' route along with good viewing areas. National Museum of Korea had poor viewing area even though there was the rest space withing the visitors' route. Lastly, Seoul branch of National Museum of Contemporary Art had the rest space out of visitors' route along with poor viewing areas. This study is meaningful in that it provided guidelines for museum space plan with visitors' route considered, so that their museum fatigue can be relieved along with the guideline that can be applied to space elements of rest space.

  • 근래 소규모항만이 흩어져 있는 연안도서해역에서는 빈번한 폭풍의 내습으로 신규 외곽시설을 포함한 항만정비사업이 지속적으로 이루어지고 있다. 이들 항만의 경우 늘어나는 물동량에 대응하기 위해 수역시설 및 부두의 배치에 변화를 가져오고 일부 항만의 경우 만입구, 항내, 수로 등 특정해역의 준설이 다양하게 이루어지고 있어서 개발과 유지 준설에 따른 정온도의 검토가 필요한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 바람, 파랑상호간 간섭, 흐름과의 상호작용, 쇄파 및 구조물에 대한 반사를 반영하여 수치실험을 수행하고 특히 준설작업의 규모, 방향에 따른 정온도에서 결과에 차이를 나타내어 평면배치계획에 수정을 기할 수 있게 되었다. 수치실험에는 50면 재현빈도 심해설계파 내습시 영역을 광역, 중간역, 상세역으로 하여 네스팅 기법으로 개방해역조건을 반영하였으며 외곽시설에서 해수소통 개구부의 변화에 대한 영향을 분석하였다.

  • 해안 및 항만 구조물의 단면설계 및 평면 배치 계획에 있어서 가장 중요한 것은 설계파를 정확히 산정하고 항내 파랑장을 정도 높게 해석하는 것이다. 지금까지의 파랑장 해석은 주로 단일주파수와 방향에 대한 규칙파 해석으로 이루어졌으며 이것에 의한 계산결과는 수많은 주파수와 방향, 파고들이 합성되어 이루어진 실제 해역의 불규칙 파랑장을 잘 재현한다고는 말할 수 없다. 구조물 주위에서의 불규칙 파랑 해석은 주로 구조물에 의한 회절 계산에서부터 시작되었다.(중략)

A Study on Characteristics of a Plot Plan and a Floor Plan of Modern Private Housing Architecture in Gunsan (군산 근대 민간 건축의 배치 및 평면 유형 특징에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to classify the building layout and plan types according to the urban location, use and function of civil and to analyze the characteristics by the type classified. After constructing a framework (Mathia type, Nagaya type, Detached House type) for analyzing Modern Private Housing Architecture in Gunsan, the research was conducted on 30 representative buildings, and a plot plan, a floor plan and elevation were created. After analyzing the relationship between the lot of land and the urban street, we classified the type of arrangement into Mathia type and Nagaya type which directly enter the building from the road, and derived the Detached House type which indirectly enters from the road. When we look at the use of the derived arrangement types, most of the Mathia type are commercial and residential buildings, and some of them are specially designed for commercial buildings. The Nagaya type appears in the form of commercial and residential house or residential private house, and the Detached House type is classified as residential style. As a relation with the urban street, the Mathia type and the Nagaya type are generally located on the main urban street, whereas the Detached House type is located on the small urban street. As a result of analyzing, the floor plan was changed according to the plot plan. The plan of the Mathia and Nagaya type are arranged to enter directly from the street, with commercial space being mainly located on the street, and the residential space being composed on the back or the second floor. the plan of the Detached House is a type that enters indirectly into the interior through a separate space (Courtyard), and forms an organic space between the residential interior and the front and rear yard. The purpose of this study is to investigate the Characteristics of a plot plan and a floor plan of Modern Private Housing Architecture in Gunsan by means of analysis considering the urban street, Uses of buildings, Construction method and the yard through actual measurement.
