This study was conducted for the first time based on the evidence that cadaver practice is not easy in the university without medical school where cadaver dissection is not easy to look for. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of osteology practice at human anatomy course for students at the freshman stage in college of health science without medical school. Both self report questionnaires and evaluation paper were analyzed depending on the course of higher education and gender. As a result of analysis, most students thought that osteology practice was interesting and it helped to understand of anatomy lecture. But students from liberal arts had poor understanding of bone's direction compared with students from natural sciences. And most students wanted to do cadaver dissectionafter osteology practice. In conclusion, osteology practice was recommended to student's expectation as well as education of gross anatomy in department of biomedical laboratory science, collage of health science without medical school. This study suggested that practice of gross anatomy should run parallel with lecture.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the apartment investment performance including the risk and to verify the presence or absence of regional characteristics. This study made an analysis on the apartment investment performance by dividing it into long and short-term basis. Data collection period is 10 years from 2002 to 2012 and target area includes Gangnam and Gangbuk (southern and northern area of Seoul) and 6 metropolitan cities. For evaluating the investment performance, this study used the earning rate of 5 year 1st class national housing bond as the risk-free rate of return and 1~2 year interest rate of fixed deposit for calculating lease profit. The results of study are as follows, Treynor's Index was used in long investment performance evaluation because of regional characters non-existing in Seoul and Incheon whereas Jensen's Index was used in evaluating because of regional characters existing in 5 metropolitan cities. And Jensen's Index was used in short-term evaluation of all districts as existing regional characters in all districts. Short-term performance considering regional characteristics yielded different results of simple evaluation. Therefore, in case of simple rate of return to evaluate the performance, the recognition of that can be distorted.

iPod Touch provided so various application software beyond the early music playback function, and enhanced its UI to the level of UX. Because of these, it was evaluated as innovative. In addition, even though various images were provided through the Internet, some people still classify MP3P as audio device in its product category. As for how audio device became video or image device and which factor contributed to such happening, there may be various factors, such as social, cultural, and technical change, other than fundamental change of medium itself. This study is regarding medium characteristics of MP3Player. In other words, this study classified genealogical changes, which can be categorized into 4 points. This study also analyzed the property of each point according to this classification. The result of analysis showed that there is a relation with technological as well as social context in such genealogical change in MP3player. Even though there are various elements in the change of a device, it can be suggested that the factors of genealogical change in MP3player are influenced by a totality of social needs and contexts and technical changes.

Design and implementation of remote procedure cail (RPC) resource service system based on the XML considering the request delegation between the servers are described for the resource application and efficient processing of distributed environment. For this purpose, the request information about several server, which would be used by client, is encoded into XML document based on XML-DOM and transferred to server. Server classifies the client requests using objects which can deal with the XMLL-DOM. For the request delegation between the servers, server saves the request result of client in XMLL-DOM structure without replying it immediately, and makes the client request delegated to another server in XML-DOM's request information. In addition, the resource repository are managed for resource transparency of distributed environment. As a result, resource application and processing efficiency are improved by reduction of response time caused by integration of RPC and XML-RPC services and request delegation between the servers. Extension of asynchronous and average blocking time of client were reduced and information of resource which can be used by client was offered.

*IT technology has been rapidly introduced to the clothing and fashion industry, and especially fashion shows have been changed very fast to keep up with the current digital era. In this research, the author designed virtual clothes, and investigated whether it is possible to make them similar to actual clothes and then performed a digital fashion show with these virtual clothes. This research discussed, based on case development and studies, whether a digital fashion show can express the designer's idea more creatively than the existing fashion shows and what needs to be improved for the effectiveness of digital fashion shows. As a result, the virtual clothes have been recognized to be very similar to actual clothes and facilitate creative expressions that are hard to be presented in actual fashion shows. The adaptation of 3D virtual clothes to real fashion industry in the future can make new contents through the innovation of distribution and industry.

As a Social Network Service (SNS) has become an integral part of our everyday lives, millions of users can express their opinion and share information regardless of time and place. Hence sentiment analysis using micro-blogs has been studied in various field to know people's opinion on particular topics. Most of previous researches on movie reviews consider only positive and negative sentiment and use it to predict movie rating. As people feel not only positive and negative but also various emotion, the sentiment that people feel while watching a movie need to be classified in more detail to extract more information than personal preference. We measure sentiment distributions of each movie from tweets according to the Thayer's model. Then, we find similar movies by calculating similarity between each sentiment distributions. Through the experiments, we verify that our method using micro-blogs performs better than using only genre information of movies.

The purpose of this study was to develop Korean Consonant Perception Test (KCPT), that is a phonemic level including elementary data to evaluate speech and consonant perception ability of the normal and the hearing impaired qualitatively and quantitatively. KCPT was completed with meaningful monosyllabic words out of possible all Korean monosyllabic words, considering articulation characteristics, the degree of difficulty, and the frequency of the phonemic appearance, after assembling a tentative initial and final consonants testing items using four multiple-choice method which were applied to the seven final consonant regulation and controlled with the familiarity of the target words. Conclusively, the final three hundred items were developed including two- and one-hundred items for initial and final testing items, respectively, with the evaluation of the 20 normal hearing adults. Through this process, the final KCPT was composed upon the colloquial frequency following identification of no speakers' variances statistically and elimination of the highly difficult items. The 30 hearing impaired were tested with KCPT and found that the half lists, A and B, were not different statistically and the initial and final testing items were appropriate for evaluating initial and final consonants, respectively.

With the advancement of the Internet, bulky information overflows in the Web. When the Internet user wants to get the necessary information, it is essential to use the retrieval system. It is not easy for the user to get the information from the result of the retrieval system. Various research activities have been advanced for the result improvement of the retrieval system. Although retrieval results can be improved with ontology, it usually takes lots of costs for users to construct the Japanese domain ontology. This paper discusses how to integrate search result refinement and domain ontology refinement using the domain ontology tool called Japanese DODDLE, and how to improve the research result using the constructed ontology. To prove the effectiveness of the suggested methodology, the case study with rocket operation is performed and it shows that the methodology can be promising.

The storage tank of the natural-circulation-solar-hot-water system equipped with flat-plate solar collectors is located at higher elevation than the solar collectors. Therefore, the heat loss from the system due to a reversed flow during the night-time is an important factor as well as the day-time thermal performance of the system. The thermal performance of the natural-circulation-solar-hot-water system with flat-plate solar collectors during the day-time depends mainly on the heat collecting efficiency of the solar collectors, whereas its thermal performance during the night-time depends on the system configuration , such as the elevation of the water storage tank with respect to the solar collectors and the piping connections between the storage tank and the solar collectors, as well as thermo-physical properties of the circulating fluid. In the present work, a computer program has been developed to simulate a typical natural-circulation-solar-hot-water-system, and a series of simulation tests have been carried out with the computer program to examine the thermal performance of the system during the day-time as well as the hight-time. In addition , a series of experiment have been conducted under a real sun condition using a natural-circulation-solar-hot-water-system constructed and installed at the KAIST building to compare with the results obtained from computer simulations.

In an effort to assess the internal absorbed dose of radionuclides that is suitable to Koreans' physiological characteristics, we asked 28 male Koreans to take $^{131}|$ orally, determined the thyroidal uptake and daily urination ratio, and assessed the absorbed dose by organ. As a result, first, 24 hours after administering, the average thyroidal uptake and the daily urination ratio registered 19.70% and 71.12%, respectively. Second, the whole body effective dose according to the thyroidal uptake calculated herein and the existing ICRP-suggested thyroidal uptake of 30% offered 1.464E-08 Sv and 2.189E-08 Sv, respectively, showing a 1.5 times difference. To evaluate the quantity of the absorbed dose of radioactive iodine, we can better reduce the error in assessing the body exposure dose by conducting measurement according to human races rather than depending on the existing ICRP data.
