A field mill capable of measuring the magnitude and polarity of electric fields at the ground level was studied to apply to a lightning warning system as a sensor. We designed and fabricated a planar-shutter type field mill with a rotating-vanes. A calibration of the field mill was performed in a vertically symmetrical arrangement which consists of two equal size parallel round plates to form a homogeneous electrical fields. The sensitivity of the field mill was adjusted at 0.5[V/kV/m], and this covers a ranges from 200[V/m] to 20[kV/m]. After the calibration experiment, the field mill was installed on the roof of a building to measure the changes of electric field intensity caused by thunderclouds. During the period from July 1. 2006 to July 15. 2006, the electric field intensity was recorded a ranges of $+2[kV/m]{\sim}-6[kV/m]$ depending on generation, extinction and movement of thunderclouds. From the actual test on the ground it is confirmed that the field mill has a good performance necessary for the measurement of DC electric fields.
Compared to the quantitative increase in women's workforce, women's status in the organization remains poor. When it needs diverse perspectives and flexibility cope with the environment, it is an urgent challenge for companies to manage women in organizations. In this study, it is explored the internal factors of the organization that allow women managers to be more immersed in the organization. While previous researches have focused mainly on employment equality policies, this study expands the scope of existing research by considering the organization's internal support factors, such as mentoring, education and training, and organizational atmosphere. The female manager panel data showed that mentoring, education and training, and organizational climate all increase the leading influence of female. This leading influence affects organizational commitment and mediated between organizational internal factors and organizational commitment. In other words, it has been found that it is important for female managers to take the initiative in their position as well as the internal support of companies for female managers to immerse themselves in the organization. This study could contribute to solving the dilemma of the use of women's workforce by companies that fail to recover all investment costs such as recruitment, education, training, and compensation of excellent women's workforce.

The low birth rate in South Korea is a very serious problem. Recently, as personal happiness has emerged as an important life value of life, unmarried people have developed a negative tendency toward marriage. This study was conducted to investigate the attitude toward marriage, gender role and having children among college students, and to identify the factors affecting marriage. The participants were 383 unmarried nursing college students who live in D city. Data were collected from self-report questionnaires and analyzed using the t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and stepwise multiple regression using the SPSS 22.0 program. Gender was a significant variable influencing attitude toward marriage. Moreover, the attitude toward marriage was negatively correlated with gender role, and positively correlated with having children. Attitude toward gender role was negatively correlated with having children. Regression analysis of the factors affecting attitude toward marriage showed that gender (male), attitude toward gender role, and attitude toward having children were significant influencing factors. Moreover, this model explained 51.9% of variance in attitude toward marriage. Overall, it is necessary to change individual values to solve the problem of low birthrate.
The purpose of this study is to investigate (1) the relationship between gender-role attitude and psychological well-being related to the division of household labor and (2) the effect of congruency between gender-role attitude and the division of household labor on psychological well-being for the elderly. In this study, independent variable is gender-role attitude, mediating variable is the division of household labor and dependent variable is psychological well-being. Psychological well-being consists of depression and happiness. The hypotheses of this study are as follows: 1) Gender-role attitude affects psychological well-being of the elderly. The more egalitarian gender-role attitude, the higher degree of psychological well-being, whereas the more traditional gender-role attitude, the lower degree of psychological well-being. 2) The division of household labor influences psychological well-being of the elderly. The higher degree of division of household labor is likely to show the higher degree of psychological well-being. 3) The congruency between gender-role attitude and the division of household labor affects psychological well-being. As the relationship between gender-role attitude and the division of household labor is more congruent. psychological well-being increases. The results of the study are summarized as follows: 1) There is no relation between gender-role attitude and psychological well-being for the elderly. 2) The division of household labor affects psychological well-being for husband. The higher degree of division of household labor, the higher degree of psychological well-being. The result shows that husbands are involved in household labor involuntarily. 3) Congruency between gender-role attitude and the division of household labor affects psychological well-being. As the relationship between gender-role attitude and the division of household labor is more congruent, the degree of depression decreases. 4) Wives participate in most of household labor. Gender segregation in household labor is found in elderly family. 5) Health, income, network of children or sibling, and community network affect psychological well-being. The healthier, higher income and stronger network are likely to show the higher degree of psychological well-being.
This study observes how the conjugal sharing of the roles such as breadwinning, housework/childcare, and leisure activities affects wives' marital satisfaction, and how the relationships among the considered variables are similar or different across age categories. Two dependent variables, the relationship satisfaction and the marital happiness, are measured and estimated as the concept of the marital satisfaction. Analysed is the Korean Longitudinal Survey of Women and Families 2008 collected by Korean Women's Development Institute. Among women in the ages of 30s-50s, full-time housewives with the breadwinning husbands feel happier with their marriage than the wives in dual career families, and those in dual career families are happier than the breadwinning women with the househusbands. Among the women in their 40s, the highest relationship satisfaction is reported by the those of the dual career families. Wives in their 30s prefer equal division of familywork in explaining the relationship satisfaction, while wives in the age of 40s and 50s show only the effect of reducing wives' portion. The co-spousal leisure activity is consistently significant in its positive relationship with the marital satisfaction across the age categories. There is a general tendency that the marital satisfaction is the highest in the youngest age bracket and the lowest in the oldest. For managing better marriages, individual efforts of both spouses as well as social support are required.
This study explores the implications of increasing cohabitation for the Korean family, by comparing the characteristics of cohabiters with those of married couples and of never-married and divorced people. Data are from the Marriage Registration Files for the years of 1997 through 2005 and Social Statistics Survey conducted in 2006. Results from descriptive statistics and logit analysis generally confirm the predictions of the western literature. First, cohabitation is part of overall changes in the family system. Cohabitation is more prevalent among the previously married than among the never married. Second, the socioeconomic status of cohabiting men is lower than that of married men. Third, according to spouses' employment status, educational levels, and age differences, gender roles are more egalitarian among cohabiting couples than among married couples. The finding that cohabiter characteristics are not similar to those of married couples seems to suggest that cohabitation does not simply represent a trial of marriage out of caution, unlike what most media articles assume. Instead, cohabitation may signify some unconventional circumstances forcing the couple to choose it as an alternative to marriage even temporarily. This and other conjectures discussed in this paper need to be reexamined with more rigorous data, as increasing trend of cohabitation seems to be inevitable in the coming years.

The purpose of this study is to raise the importance of 'family culture and values' in the process of diagnosing and discussing the causes and measures of low fertility in Korean society. In addition, I sought to find the causes of over - fertilization and ways to cope with it in terms of educational approach to establishing family culture and values. Specifically, this study firstly reviews the causes of low fertility in Korea by examining the evaluation of low fertility policies, secondly, examines the actual conditions and changes in family culture and values related to low fertility, and third, In this paper, I examined the validity of educational intervention, the actual state of intervention, the contents of education in institutional education, the necessity and effect of education, the composition of educational content, and possible policies and arguments based on educational approach. The issue of low birth rate is a national social problem facing the Korean society in the modern age. Considering its causes and countermeasures at the same time, it is necessary to pay attention to the factors of family culture and values as well as economic factors. To further emphasize the educational approach to gender equality and family-friendly family culture and values.
This study aims to reveal the content of and logic behind a recent negative public sentiment toward female idols with the example of a debate over songstress IU's fourth album that was released late last year. While previous studies on fandom have focused on the identification process towards entertainers and making community, a recent phenomenon of "anti-fandom" or "malicious comments" implies that more research is needed on negative emotions such as hostility or schadenfreude (feelings of pleasure from others' misfortunes). Schadenfreude is a social sentiment that originated in modern liberalism, which features contradictions between public equality and private ownership, and that has been intensified in neoliberalism, which features a maximization of this contradiction centering on a meritocracy. Celebrities in Korea often become the targets of schadenfreude, which is associated with the suspicion that they gain popularity not from their abilities but from "just being popular." It should also be noted that this kind of schadenfreude operates differently between male and female entertainers. Specifically, the acquisition of money and fame by modern women whose presence used to be located in the private possessions of males is considered to be due to their unjustified use of sexuality. This is also the background of the recent online misogyny culture in Korea. In this context, IU, who had been successful at building a differentiated image of "sister-like idol artist," became a valid target. Although accusing IU of utilizing pedophilia reflects a stalemate that a current politics of sexual violence faces, it rather damages the name of an individual than attracts public attention to the structural causes of childsexualabuse. This is why I see the way that pedophilia was used in the debate over IU as a schadenfreude. Consequently, the term pedophilia here contributes to an expansion of the entertainment economy that is sustained by rises and falls of the celebrities' stock prices.
This study aims at examining how it becomes to change the interpersonal cognitive problem solving ability development of elementary rejected children when teacher practices counseling strategy in classroom To do this, 130 fifth-graders of 4 classrooms from H Elementary School in B City went through Ahn Ie-hwan's(2007) social status type system by using the peer nomination, Then, 21 children were labeled as rejected children. Among them, 16 children were divided into experimental group & control group, 8 for the each group. In order to improve the interpersonal cognitive problem solving ability of rejected children with teacher's counseling strategy in classroom used in this study, 5 weeks activity made according to the level of classroom was carried out in four sides, that is, setting of classroom structure-environments, classroom activities, counseling activities, cooperative learning method, referring to Dreikurs'(1971) 'The counseling strategy in classroom' composed of self-discipline, cooperation, mutual respect, shared responsibility, and social equality. This study obtained the following results. First, There was a significant effect in improving the interpersonal cognitive problem solving ability of rejected children. Looking into sub-factors, there was a significant effect in improving consequential thought and method-ends thought except alternative solution thought and causal thought. Second, there was a significant difference in social status & change of 5 types of children in social status in the respective classrooms when those of the experimental group where teacher's counseling strategy in classroom carried out and those of the control group where teacher's counseling strategy in classroom not carried out were compared. To conclude the results mentioned above, We can see the fact that the counseling strategy in classroom positively affected interpersonal cognitive problem solving ability.

The reason Chosun woman Maechang could wrote Shijo which is free from the feudal limitations is that she was Kisaeng, She had a love as a Kisaeng who had to play with the intellectual men. But she loved Yu hee-kyoung. So she preserved chastity for him and waited only him. This is the love of both body and soul. And love with Hu kyoon friendship which is far from love. The limited love because of the spatial parting and the discrepancy of the social position is the most sorrowful. 10 years love with the intellectual men such as Hu kyoon is a friendship with poems. It was not love, so they had to temperate. So they love each other as a literary friend. We can see the feminist Hu kyoon, and see Hu kyoon who loved the literature and assert the renovation. Maechang was free from the chastity but she preserved it because of her proud. She dreamed the fairyland as Hunansulhun. Because she couldn't realize love. She ended her literature and Kisaeng life at 38 years old. There are literature of nansulhun as a noble woman and of rnaschang as a Kisaeng in Chosun Dynasty.
