An Web Caching Method based on the Object Reference Probability Distribution Characteristics and the Life Time of Web Object (웹 객체의 참조확률분포특성과 평균수명 기반의 웹 캐싱 기법)

  • Generally, a study of web caching is conducted on a performance improvement with structural approaches and a new hybrid method using existing methods, and studies on caching method itself. And existing analysis of reference-characteristic are conducted on a history analysis and a preference of users, a view point of data mining by log analysis. In this study, we analyze the reference-characteristic of web object on a view point of a characteristic of probability-distribution and a mean value of lifetime of a web-object. And using this result, we propose the new method for a performance improvement of a web-caching.

  • 무선센서네트워크에서 MAC 프로토콜은 듀티사이클을 이용하여 센서노드의 에너지 소비를 줄임으로써 배터리의 수명을 연장한다. 기존에 제안된 TA (Traffic-Adaptive)-MAC 프로토콜은 비동기 방식 기반으로 듀티사이클을 조절하여 센서노드의 에너지 소비를 줄인다. 본 기법은 네트워크의 트래픽 상태를 고려하여 동적으로 센서노드의 듀티사이클을 조정한다. 이러한 방법으로 센서노드의 대기시간을 줄이고 센서노드의 에너지를 효과적으로 사용한다. 하지만 이 기법은 네트워크의 트래픽 변화가 잦은 환경에서는 좋지 못한 효율을 보인다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 기존의 TA-MAC 기법에 가중이동평균 방법을 적용하여 합리적인 듀티사이클 선정을 위한 트래픽 계산 방법을 제안한다. 이는 최근 트래픽 값과 현재 감지한 트래픽의 평균을 계산하고 다음 트래픽을 예측하여 네트워크 트래픽이 급격히 변화하는 불안정한 환경에서 더 합리적인 듀티사이클 선정을 돕는다.

The Effects of Water Temperature and Salinity on the Propagation of Rotifer, Brachionus plicatilis (수온과 염분이 Rotifer, Brachionus plicatilis의 번식에 미치는 영향)

  • Growth rate, first reproductive age, life span and total offspring numbers were measured to study the effects of water temperature and salinity on the propagation of rotifer, Brachionus plicatilis. Three types of rotifer, Large (L), Small (S) and Thailand Small (TS)-types, were cultured in the $4\times4$ factorial culture conditions with four different salinities (5, 15, 25 and $35\%o$) at each of four different water temperatures (15, 20, 25 and $29^{\circ}C$). The results are as follows; Under the 4 different salinity gradients %$(5\%o,\;15\%o,\;25\%o,\;and\;35\%o)\;at\;29^{\circ}C$, the mean growth rates of L, Sand TS-type were 0.60, 0.84 and 0.96, respectively. The first reproductive age of three types rotifer appeared to be early at high water temperature. The total offspring numbers of the three types were higher at $25^{\circ}C\;and\;29^{\circ}C$, with the maximum value of 28.3 on the average at $29^{\circ}C$ for TS-type, and the minimum value at $15^{\circ}C$ for S-type. Life span decreased with high water temperature and increased with low water temperature. L-type and TS-type rotifer showed the longest life span of 13.5 days on the average at $15^{\circ}C$, and S-type showed shortest 6.2 days on the average at $29^{\circ}C$.

PLS-II 진공시스템 1차 시운전

  • PLS-II 저장링 진공시스템은 2011년 6월 설치 완료 후 2011년 7월부터 2012년 초 까지 1차 시운전을 마쳤다. PLS-II 저장링 진공시스템은 누적 전류 50 Ah 운전 후, 3 GeV, 400 mA 전자빔 운전 시 평균 진공도 $2{\times}10^{-9}$ mbar를 유지도록 설계되어 빔-기체 산란 수명을 20 시간 이상 확보하도록 설계하였다. 지금까지의 간략한 운전 이력과 진공시스템의 성능을 보고하고 최근 방사광 가속기에서 중요하게 취급하는 진공용기(특히, 빔전류 측정 진공용기)의 기계적 안정도, 변위 등과 BPM TE mode noise suppression 등을 보고하고자 한다.

  • 의료기술의 발달로 인해 세계적으로 평균 수명이 늘었으며 그에 따라 노인 인구가 증가되고 있다. 2018년 기준 한국은 이미 고령사회로 진입을 하였다. 노령화에 따른 기억력 저하 등의 이유로 복약이 어려운 경우가 많다. 기존의 경우 단순히 복약할 시간에 대한 알림만 주는 경우가 많았다. 그에 따라 본 논문은 아두이노를 이용하여 약품 복용 알림 시스템을 구현하였다.

  • The life of components under high thermal load is typically shorter than other components. The turbopump turbine of liquid rocket is operated under these environments like high temperature and high centrifugal dorce due to high rotating velocity during operating time. These conditions may often cause low-cycle fatigue problem in the turbopump turbine. First of all, to analyze heat stress, ABAQUS/CAE is used and Coffin-manson's equation is used to consider elasticity and plasticity strain. S.W.T's method is used to consider the mean stress effect, using strain history, low-cycle fatigue analysis is done for turbopump turbine which may have FCL(fracture critical location). In this paper, strain life method is applied to analyze low-cycle fatigue.

Relationships among Viviporous Germination, Dry-heat Tolerance and Seed Longevity in Milyang 23/Gihobyeo RILs (벼 밀양 23호$\times$기호벼의 재조합 자식계통에서 수발아성,건열 저항성 및 종자수명간 상관관계)

  • To investigate the relationships among the traits related seed dormancy in rice, viviparous germination, dry-heat tolerance and seed longevity were tested using 164 M/G RILs ($F_{17}$) derived from the cross between Milyang 23 (Indica/Japonica) and Gihobyeo (Japonica). At 40 days after heading, the viviparous germination rates of Milyang 23 and Gihobyeo were 0.0 and 7.0%, respectively. The averaged viviparous germination rate of 164 MIG RILs was 3.2%, and their range was from 0.0 to 50.9%. In dry-heat treatment at $90^{\circ}C$ for 24 h followed by the pre-drying at $40^{\circ}C$ for 2 days, Milyang 23 showed higher germinability (98.6%,2.7 days to $T_{50}$) than Gihobyeo (37.6%, 12.9 days to $T_{50}$), and the mean germination rate of 164 M/G RILs was 72.4%. In 54 months after harvest, the germinability in Milyang 23 and Gihobyeo were 90% and 0%, and 71 lines among 164 M/G RILs showed the germinability over 90%. The relationship between seed longevity and dry-heat tolerance was linearly correlated with high positive correlation coefficient. The relationships between seed longevity and viviparous germination, and viviparous germination and dry-heat tolerance were linearly correlated with high negative correlation coefficient. Milyang 23 had higher tolerance against high dry-heat, viviparous germination and long-term storage than Gihobyeo, and 164 M/G RILs showed the medium values of parents.

  • Weibull distribution is a popular distribution for modeling lifetimes because it reflects the characteristics of failure adequately and it models either increasing or decreasing failure rates simply. It is a standard method of the lifetimes test to wait until all samples failed; however, censoring can occur due to some realistic limitations. In this paper, we propose a generalized likelihood ratio (GLR) chart to monitor changes in the scale parameter for type I right-censored Weibull lifetime data. We also compare the performance of the proposed GLR chart with two CUSUM charts proposed earlier using average run length (ARL). Simulation results show that the Weibull GLR chart is effective to detect a wide range of shift sizes when the shape parameter and sample size are large and the censoring rate is not too high.

State Space Averaging Based Analysis of the Lithium Battery Charge/Discharge System (상태공간평균에 의한 리튬전지 충방전 시스템의 해석)

  • The life and performance of lithium battery are greatly influenced by the formation process which is essential in the process of manufacture. Charge/discharge system for the lithium battery are required for the formation process. To simulate such a system in a conventional method takes very long time and requires huge memory space to save data files. So the simulation may be impossible with a general-purpose PC. In this paper, the lithium battery is modelled to a resistor-capacitor serial circuit and the lithium battery charge/discharge system is analyzed and simulated by using state space averaging method. As a result, the simulation time is reduced dramatically and the simulation of the lithium battery charge/discharge system becomes possible on a general-purpose PC within 3 hours. Also, both the charge/discharge characteristics and the time required to charge/discharge of the lithium battery charge/discharge system can be observed. To verify the propriety of resistor-capacitor serial circuit modeling method for lithium battery and the validity of the analysis and simulation based on state space averaging, the lithium battery charge/discharge system is composed and experimentations are carried out.

How to Manage Aging Aircraft (노후 항공기 관리방안)

  • 최근 5년간 발생한 국적 항공기 사고 23건 중 헬기사고가 16건으로 전체 항공사고의 70%를 차지한다. 현재 국내에서 고정익 항공기 549대, 회전익 항공기 186대가 각각 운영(군 경찰 보유헬기 제외)되고 있음을 감안하면 회전익 항공기 사고가 훨씬 높은 편이며, 고정익 항공기 가동시간에 비하여 가동률이 매우 낮은 회전익 항공기를 고려하면 비행시간당 항공기 사고 비율은 회전익 항공기가 월등하게 높은 편이다. 또한 고정익 항공기의 평균기령은 10.9년인데 비하여 산림항공본부를 비롯한 헬기운영업체에서 운영 중인 회전익 항공기의 평균기령은 18.9년으로 회전익 항공기가 전체적으로 노후화 되어 있으나, 국적항공사에 운영 중인 노후 항공기 관리프로그램을 회전익 항공기 운영사에서는 운영하지 않고 있다. 따라서 본 연구를 통하여 노후 항공기 운영현황을 검토하여 노후 회전익 항공기 운영기준을 수립하고 노후 회전익 항공기의 정비프로그램을 정립하여 회전익 항공기의 지속감항성을 확보할 수 있는 방안과 수명주기 설정을 마련하고자 한다.
