Vibration and Dynamic Sensitivity Analysis of a Timoshenko Beam-Column with Ends Elastically Restrained and Intermediate Constraints (중간구속조건을 갖는 양단탄성구속 Timoshenko 보-기동의 진동 및 동특성감도 해석)

  • Most studies on the vibration analysis of a beam-column with ends elastically restrained and various intermediate constraints have been based on the Euler beam theory, which is inadequate for beam-columns of low slenderness ratios. In this paper, analytical methods for vibration and dynamic sensitivity of a Timoshenko beam-column with ends elastically restrained and various intermediate constraints are presented. Firstly, an exact solution method is shown. Since the exact method requires considerable computational effort, a Rayleigh-Ritz analysis is also investigated. In the latter two kinds of trial functions are examined for comparisions : eigenfunctions of the base system(the system without intermediate constraints) and polynomials having properties corresponding to the eigenfunctions of the base system. The results of some numerical Investigations show that the Rayleigh-Ritz analysis using the characteristic polynomials is competitive with the exact solutions in accuracy, and that it is much more efficient in computations than using the eigenfunctions of the base system, especially in the dynamic sensitivity analysis. In addition, the prediction of the changes of natural frequencies due to the changes of design variables based on the first order sensitivity is in good agreements with that by the ordinary reanalysis as long as the changes of design variables are moderate.

A Study on Establishment of the Optimum Mountain Meteorological Observation Network System for Forest Fire Prevention (산불 방지를 위한 산악기상관측시스템 구축방안)

  • In this study, we constructed a forest fire danger map in the Yeongdong area of Gangwon-do and Northeastern area of Gyeongsangbuk-do using a forest fire rating model and geographical information system (GIS). We investigated the appropriate positions of the automatic weather station (AWS) and a comprehensive network solution (a system including measurement, communication and data processing) for the establishment of an optimum mountain meteorological observation network system (MMONS). Also, we suggested a possible plan for combining the MMONS with unmanned monitoring camera systems and wireless relay towers operated by local governments and the Korea Forest Service for prevention of forest fire.

  • Nowadays, 3-D(Three-dimensions) is used in various field such as Games, Movies, Animations etc. Especially the Role of 3-D computer graphic is being generalized by turnover of Screen from '2-dimensional' to '3-dimensional'. There are not enough data about 'Motion Capture' even though it plays main function in 3-dimensional movement. 'Motion Capture' could be also unfamiliar for people. And as a matter of fact, the use of this equipment is limited due to its high cost. Therefore, I studied the outline of Digital Motion Capture system and its application to 3-D game Character Animation. And I checked the movement of 3-D Character after transplanting the Motion Data to the 3-D Character. I acquired Motion Data by Optical Motion Capture Equipment which we possess and transplanted it into the 3-D Character then Implemented it as walking, running and hitting which are the basic motions of Expression.

  • 전자파표면유속계는 여러 측정지점을 가능한 신속하게 이동하면서 홍수시 유속을 측정하는데 그 목적이 있다. 또한 홍수시 유속은 시간대 별로 급격히 변하는 속성을 가지고 있으므로 유량측정 지점의 유량을 실시간으로 획득하기 위해서는 현장 측정에서 측정한 유량데이터가 실시간으로 집계 되어야한다. 현재의 시스템은 측정 정보를 실시간으로 전송하기 위하여 현장 측정자에게 PDA가 보급되어 있으며 CDMA망을 통해서 유량 측정을 위한 각종 정보 및 측정결과를 실시간 전송하도록 되어있다. 그러나 전자파표면유속계를 비롯한 각종 유속계가 PDA와 무선으로 통신을 할 수 있게 되어있지 않기 때문에 열악한 여건의 현장에서 측정한 데이터를 야장에 수기로 기록한 후 이를 다시 PDA에 수동으로 입력시켜야하는 불편함이 있다. 전자파표면 유속계를 제외한 다른 측정 장비는 제조회사가 수자원공사와 독립적인 업체이므로 통신 접속을 하기위한 특정 인터페이스를 알아내기가 어려운 실정이다. 그러나 전자파표면유속계는 수자원공사에서 개발한 장비로서 핵심기술을 수자원공사에서 보유하고 있으므로 PDA와 통신을 가능하게 하는 장치의 개발이 가능하다. 이에 이러한 불편한 문제점을 개선하여 현장에서 홍수 유량 측정시 작업자들의 편이성을 증대시키고자 전자파표면유속계와 PDA간에 근거리통신기법을 적용하였다. 이를 위하여 Bluetooth, UWB(Ultra-Wide Band, 초광대역통신), Zigbee 등 적용가능한 근거리 통신기법을 조사하였다. 그 결과 Zigbee가 소비전력이 적어 현장에서 홍수유량측정에 이용되는 전자파표면유속계에 적용성이 가장 뛰어난 것으로 나타났다. 무선통신 모듈과 연동되는 전자파표면유속계는 이동식을 기준으로 적용하였으며 기존 신호처리부에 무선통신 모듈을 장착할 수 있는 구조로 설계하였다. 장착 방식은 기존 이동식 유속계의 신호처리부의 RS-232 포트에 무선통신 모듈을 장착하면 사용할 수 있는 구조로 되어있다. 신호처리부 RS-232 포트는 현재까지는 측정한 유속값을 PC로 전송받는 용도로 활용되었으나 무선모듈 장착 시에는 무선통신 할 수 있는 이중화 구조를 채택하였다. 두 가지 방식에 대한 통신구별은 초기에 송수신하는 데이터에 따라 구별되도록 하였다. 신호처리부에서 무선통신 추가에 따른 운용 방식은 별도의 수자원공사 모드를 추가하여 운용하도록 수정하였다. 유속 측정 시에는 무선통신 모듈을 제거한 상태에서 측정한 후, 측정한 데이터를 PDA로 전송할 때 아를 부착하여 사용할 수 있는 구조를 갖도록 제작하였다. 이러한 방식을 적용시킨 이유는 기존에 보급된 유속계에 무선모듈을 장착한 후, 신호처리부 운용 프로그램을 업그레이드하면 바로 사용할 수 있도록 하기 위함이다.

Comparing the Effects of Visual and Visual-auditory Feedback on Eco-driving and Driving Workload (시각적 피드백과 시각-청각적 피드백이 에코 드라이빙과 운전부하에 미치는 상대적 효과)

  • Recent studies have suggested that providing in-vehicle feedback on various driving behaviors promote eco-friendly driving behaviors. However, there was relatively little interest in cognitive overload that can be caused by the provision of information. Thus, the goal of this study was to investigate the relative effects of two types of feedback(visual feedback vs. visual-auditory feedback) to increase eco-driving performance while minimizing driving workload. Also, in this study, the complexity of the driving task was distinguished (secondary vs. tertiary task) in order to reflect the actual driving situation. The study adopted a counterbalancing design in which the two feedback types were delivered in a different order under the two different task conditions. Results showed that providing the visual-auditory feedback was more effective than the visual only feedback in both promoting eco-friendly driving behaviors and minimizing driving workload under both task conditions.

  • The application range of IEEE 802.11 wireless LAN has rapidly expanding from campus, enterprise to the public network of Hot Spot area due to the advantages of easiness of construction, mobility of wireless client station, convenience of usage and so on. However the security of WLAN(Wireless LAN) is vulnerable inherently because of using RF as a medium, and so the dangers of infringement of personal information and inside data of enterprises have increased and wardriving attack searching for security vulnerability in wireless LAN has become more serious especially. In this paper, we find out the overview of various procedures and preparatory stages for wardriving attack against wireless LAN, and propose complementary methods to prevent information infringement accidents from wardriving attack in wireless LAN. For this purpose, we make an equipment which is suitable for wardriving in wireless LAN and show security vulnerability of AP(Access Point) operation in WLAN around Yangjae-Dong in Seoul as a result of using the equipment.

Research on Rapid Disaster Prevention Measures due to Leakage During Transport of Hydrochloric Acid Tank Lorry (염산 탱크로리 운송 중 누출에 따른 신속 방재방안 연구)

  • Purpose: The purpose is to find the optimal way to quickly block the leak in the event of a leak accident in a tank lorry transporting hydrochloric acid aqueous solution, a hazardous chemical, and to carry out effective disaster prevention work to minimize damage caused by the leak. Method: We organized the overall characteristics of hydrochloric acid and accidents that occurred during transportation by accident type and cause, and created a small tank that can be tested assuming a leak situation in a hydrochloric acid tanker, creating an environment similar to the leak situation, and leaking in various ways. I would like to experiment and organize blocking methods. Result: Through experiments, an effective leak blocking method was confirmed. We would like to summarize measures to quickly block a leak in the event of a leak and present the optimal disaster prevention plan that can be applied at the accident site. Conclusion: It has been confirmed that using a combination of adhesive tape and magnets is more effective in blocking leaks. Rapid response is possible by repeatedly training business emergency response teams and product transporters to appropriately select and respond to leak-blocking equipment. Additional research on various leak prevention methods is needed in the future.

  • A mobile healthcare application is a healthcare software application designed to run on mobile devices such as smartphone and tablet computers. Mobile healthcare applications have enormous potential for monitoring and care everyday living of patient with chronic disease. In fact, mobile healthcare applications are found to be active in various fields. However, the development is rarely done in Korean medicine field. The aim of this study was to develop the healthcare application based on the tongue diagnosis. The process included planning, designing, programming, and revising. Through a pilot study, the application was found the improvement requirement, and to be usable in the real-life settings.

  • Recent climate change and ensure each country's marine fisheries resources due to the sharp decline to address the eco-friendly farming has emerged. Marine aquaculture operations to provide ease of use for the fishing ship cranes. In this paper, we use the default handler for the shipping cranes and improve the working environment of the received video equipment in the work area through the monitoring and analysis of visual information to optimize the image, convenient and high visibility for workers to have real-time video guide system is proposed.

  • 조종실은 항공기-조종사 시스템에서 항공기와 조종사간의 긴밀한 상호작용이 이루어지는 유일한 공유영역으로서, 조종사의 인간성능 특성과 조종업무 특성의 체 계적 반영이 요구되어 진다. 인간공학적으로 설계된 조종실은 조종 편이성, 운용성 및 비행 안정성의 향상을 가져올 수 있다. 항공산업 육성의 초기 단계에 있는 국내 에서는 항공기 장비성능 개발 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있으나, 조종실에 대한 인간 공학적 분석 연구는 미흡한 실정이다. 조종사의 인간요소특성에 적합한 조종실 공 간을 체계적으로 설계하기 위하여, -조종실 공간 설계요소의 체계적 추출 및 계층적 구조 설정 -공간 설계에 적용될 인체측정요소의 정의 및 계층적 구조 설정, -설계요 소의 특성 파악을 위한 설계요소간 연관관계 분석, -설계요소와 인간요소간의 연관 관계 분석, -기존 전투기, 훈련기의 설계 제원 현황 및 설계지침 파악, -한국인 인체 측정자료의 Data Base화, -인간공학적인 조종실 공간 설계제원 분석을 수행하였다. 조종실 공간 설계요소로는 143 항목이 정의 되었으며, 설계요소들 간의 연관관계 Matrix 분석을 통하여 선행/병행/후행 설계요소 및 설계요소의 중요도가 파악되었다. 조종실 공간 설계에 적용될 인간 측정요소로는 133개 항목이 정의 되었으며, 설계요소 와 인간요소간의 연관관계 분석을 통하여 설계요소별로 고려되어질 인간요소를 분석 하였다. 또한 설계요소와 관련된 다른 설계요소, 인간요소 및 인체측정치, 설계지침을 종합적으로 적용함으로써 인간공학적인 조종실 공간 설계제원을 제시하였다.
