  • The aim of this study is to examine the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on university educational satisfaction. To achieve this, a survey on educational satisfaction was conducted alongside a focus group interview (FGI) with students at University A. The educational satisfaction survey involved 822 enrolled students, and one-way ANOVA with post-hoc tests was performed to examine inter-group differences by grade. The focus group interview was conducted with six third-year students (class of 2020) who enrolled during the COVID-19 pandemic to explore their perceptions of educational satisfaction. The survey results indicated that the third-year student group exhibited relatively lower levels of university educational satisfaction compared to students from other grades. This pattern was consistently reflected across all sub-factors. The FGI research findings identified that the shift to non-face-to-face university experiences centered on the pandemic was a primary factor in decreasing university educational satisfaction. Specifically, dissatisfaction stemmed from existential uncertainties about university life, perceived inequities in grading assessments, challenges in conducting practical courses, loss of university vitality, and inadequate development of interpersonal relationships. Proposed strategies to enhance university educational satisfaction include establishing an integrated academic operation system, diversifying experimental and practical learning methods through educational technology, and expanding positive interactions with peers, juniors, seniors, and faculty members.

  • The global pandemics occurred in 2020 had a great economic impact on the world, and the impact was especially greater on self-employed people who were heavily affected by the floating population and tourism industry. To solve this problem, each country implemented emergency disaster support policies, and it was difficult to select the criteria and scope. The following research carried out two results. First, after analyzing the impact of global pandemics on the local economy, an economical index was defined that could explain the impact intuitively. Second, we propose linear programming methods to provide optimal budget policy using defined indicators, which present economic shock indicators and optimal years that can be considered quickly and easily by the government. Finally, the limitations and implications of the proposed study model are introduced.

  • This study was conducted to investigate the effects of covid-19 pandemic on mother's child-rearing style and provide information on mother-rearing. The significance of regression coefficients was verified to investigate the factors affecting warm parenting and control parenting, and the effect of separation and individualization on warm parenting (β=-).40, p <.001). Moreover, covid infection has a positive effect on controlled child care (β=.21, p=.002), and separation has a significant effect on controlled child care (β=-26, p<.001). Based on the results of these studies, we can see that the strong belief in mother-rearing and the separation and individualization of healthy children have a great impact on child growth.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of home training with app on metabolic syndrome risk factors and atherogenic index in on obese middle aged women. It was carried out to present as an intervention method for improving obesity in the pandemic era of COVID-19. The subjects of this study were 33 obese middle aged women, AHTG(n=15) and CG(n=18). Home training using the app for 8 weeks was conducted 3 times a week. The results of this study as follow, metabolic syndrome risk factors was WC(p<.001) significantly decreased, HDL-C(p<.05) significantly increased and atherogenic index was LDL-C/HDL-C(p<.01) significantly increased in the AHTG. In the era of the COVID-19 pandemic, PA plays an important role in alleviating the severe COVID-19 pandemic, in addition to its ameliorating effects on several chronic diseases. The possibility of home training using an app is an effective intervention method for preventing obesity and metabolic syndrome.

  • This study focuses on the vulnerability of our society and environment under the Covid-19 pandemic. The medical descriptions about severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus disease 2019 provide the serious manifestation of the SARS-CoV-2 virus and a new resilient hope of its vaccination. Moreover, with the perspective of feminist practical theology, the author explores a resilient possibility to reconstitute an ecological relationship between our society and environment. In addition, many people's depression in the time of Covid-19 is understood in the meaningful narrative of the relationship between integrity and despair to be stressed by Erikson in the perspective of Loder. Especially, this study focuses on the main stream of designing the convergence curriculum of medicine and theology to move toward the life wellbeing of community members, overcoming their difficult circumstances such as Covid-19.
