  • The Seventh Curriculum uses not only individual assessment but also team assessment method that organizes and solves assignments by team unit. It also helps students to learn cooperation and responsibility and share the ideas and process of the team project with other students through class presentation. It is also cooperative learning which is performed by several students together. Therefore, the assessment of team project is required to synthetically assess the performance process not the itself. This thesis will examine the actual problems about team project assessment and analyze related literatures. Then, this study designs and implements a practical system which alleviates the burden of teachers in charge of a team project assessment and improves reliability and validity in assessing team projects through multilateral assessment aiming at process as well as result objectives.

  • Teams play an indispensable role in helping an organization achieve its goal. Since constant interaction among team members is the cornerstone of team competitiveness, it is necessary for the team members to commit themselves to shared goals-team commitment, a type of positive, emotional attitude of team members. Constant interactions among team members, however, inevitably breed a byproduct called conflict. Though intra-team conflict has both positive and negative effects on team performance, little research has been done to clarify the roles that relationship, task and process conflicts play in team commitment. This research is an empirical investigation of the relationship among the three types of conflicts - relationship, task and process conflicts - based on data collected from 232 R&D teams of 13 Korean companies. The analysis suggests that, while relationship conflict has a negative impact on team commitment, task and process conflicts have no significant impact on team commitment. As for the relationships among those three types of conflict, process conflict has positively influenced task, and relationship conflicts and task conflict also has had a positive impact on relationship conflict. Based on these results, this study has presented its implications and directions for future research.

  • This quasi-experimental study was conducted to develop and implement a team facilitation program as well as to evaluate the effects of the program on Problem Based Learning (PBL) and how these influence on team dynamics. Data were collected in a convenient sample of 126 nursing students (intervention group=69; control group=57). Data were analyzed using ${\chi}^2$ test, T-test, and ANCOVA. SPSS23 was used. The intervention group received the PBL team facilitation program, whereas the control group received a human interaction training. The intervention group than the control group demonstrated significantly higher scores in a team dynamic among team members(F=10.35,p<0.01), trust among team members(F=9.86,p<0.01), communication(F=5.69,p<0.05), learning behavior of a team(F=4.57,p<0.05), and individual capability evaluation(F=5.12,p<0.05). Team performance was not significantly different between groups. This study reveals that the team facilitation program is an effective strategy to maximize the effects of PBL. We propose the need for educational strategy to support team function.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of the soccer team captain's empowerment on role perception and team cohesion. In order to achieve the purpose of the study, data of 154 students from elementary and middle school soccer teams and soccer clubs in Busan Metropolitan City and Gyeongsangnam-do were collected, and then exploratory factor analysis, Cronbach's α coefficient calculation and correlation using SPSS statistic 25.0 The reliability and validity of the relationship analysis and research tools were verified. After that, the results of multiple regression analysis for hypothesis testing are as follows. First, it was found that the empowerment of the captain of the soccer team had a partial positive effect on role perception. Second, it was found that the empowerment of the captain of the soccer team had a partial positive effect on the team cohesion. Third, it was found that the role perception of the captain of the soccer team had a positive effect on the team cohesion. Therefore, it is necessary to enhance the team's role and team cohesion through the empowerment of the captain of the soccer team.

  • Our study examines the relationship between coach turnover and professional sport team performance using the evidences of Korean professional soccer teams. We collected panel dataset of 304 team-year observations and 96 coaches from Korean professional soccer league during the period of 1983-2013. Among them, our final sample is comprised of 226 observations and 81 coaches manifested for fixed-effect generalized least square (GLS) regression analysis. Drawing on sport management literatures and organizational learning theory, we argue that it takes time for a new head coach to take charge of the team in which the new leader who secure more time to interact with organization members is better able to remodel and improve team performance. Our empirical findings reveal that off-season coach turnover has a positive impact while turnover during the season has its negative influences on team performance. In addition, we find that subsequent team performance in association of off-season coach turnover is comparably better than that of on-season succession. The results show that coach succession rendered from inside the professional soccer team mediates the relationship between coach turnover and team performance. Our findings imply that coach turnover in professional sport teams is a significant factor affecting team performance.

  • In recent years, collaborative learning in university courses has been emphasized in order to improve collective intelligence. Based on literature reviews, individual creativity was used as a variable of personal characteristic, team trust and collective efficacy were used as variables of teams to see the relationship with collective intelligence as a variable of learning outcome. Data were collected from 770 students from A University in Gyeonggi-do, H University in the Daejeon, and K University in Chungcheong-do, and analyzed by using structural equations modeling. As results, individual creativity had significant influence on collective efficacy and collective intelligence. Team trust also had significant influence on collective efficacy and collective intelligence. In addition, collective efficacy had a positive effect on collective intelligence. This study will be able to utilize basic data for establishing instructional design and strategies of collaborative learning in the universities.

  • The purpose of this study was to identify mediating effects of affective commitment between workplace silent behavior and team learning. A team leader should pay attention to workplace silent behavior in that the workplace silent behavior of the team member may have a negative impact on team effectiveness as well as on individual effectiveness. In this study, 106 employees working in diverse domestic companies were surveyed and data were analyzed. The results are as follows. At first, silent behavior has a negative effect on affective commitment. Second. silent behavior has a negative effect on team learning. Third, affective commitment partially mediated silent behavior and team learning. The meaning of these results is that the workplace silent behavior has direct influence on team learning and indirect influence on team learning via affective commitment as well. Based on the results of this study, implications, limitations, and future research topics were discussed.

  • It is necessary for an instructor to understand the student's team building behavior for an effective guidance of team activities. In this study, we developed an agent-based computational model for simulating the student's self-controlled behavior. We validated the model by comparing the actual behavior. Through the simulation, we found that the time to stabilization of team formation and the ratio of the students having no team are decreasing as the population of the student increases. However, we also found that over a certain amount of population, the time and the ratio do not show much progress in the difference. The simulation also shows that the more heterogeneity between the students the higher chance of delaying the team formation and increasing the ratio. We expect to use the model as a tool for guiding and supporting students' team activities.
