지난 7월 20일, 미국 로스쿨(Franklin Piercie Law Center)의 과정인 PADIAS(Patent Application Drafting and Infringement Strategies)의 1회 수료식이 한국발명진흥회에서 거행되었다. 총 52시간에 걸친 미국 특허 출원 및 소송 전략에 관한 명품강의였다는 것이 참석자들의 중론이다. 이 프로그램 기획자이자 주 강사인 함윤석 변호사와 전화 인터뷰를 했다.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the college students' acceptance of PatentNOW, which was developed for effective proceeding of patent application education program. Results of this research as follow. First, perceived ease of use positively influenced perceived usefulness. Second, perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use positively influenced attitude toward using and attitude toward using also positively influenced behavioral intention to use. Third, the level of prior knowledge about the patent system and experience of patent application possessed by the users of PatentNOW had a negative effect on the relationship between perceived ease of use and attitude toward using. These results suggested that the teaching method of utilizing PatentNOW should be differentiated according to the level of prior knowledge of the students in order to improve the quality of patent application education.

This study identified the factors that influence the problem solving intention of students who completed the action learning-based creativity programs based on the theory of reasoned action, and examined the influence relationship between these factors. As a result of the study, first, subjective norms of problem solving had a positive effect on problem solving intention, and second, attitude toward problem solving had a significant effect on problem solving intention. Third, it was found that students who had experience of participating in a patent education program applying the action learning methodology had a positive effect on the relationship between their attitude toward problem solving and their intention to solve the problem. These findings confirmed that in order to enhance the problem-solving intention, which is the basis for creativity of university students, it is important to spread the positive value of problem-solving within the university and to give students a positive attitude toward problem solving.

탤런트 이윤미, 현재 인터넷 쇼핑몰을 운영 중인데 sbs 예능프로그램에서 상표권 침해로 경찰서, 검찰을 오간 적이 있는 사실을 고백하며 브랜드 관리의 어려움을 토로했다. 이뿐만 아니라, 예전의 티켓몬스터도 사이트 오픈 불과 이틀 후에 바로 제3자가 '티켓몬스터'를 출원하여 상표권을 확보하지 못할 뻔 했으며 네이버 지식iN과 현재 상표 업무 중에도 소셜커머스업 또는 인터넷쇼핑몰을 운영하는 분 중에 이와 같이 제3자의 너무 빠른 선출원으로 인해 피해를 보는 사례가 급증하고 있다.

식품분야는 기술의 발전속도가 비교적 빠르지 않으나 적용범위가 광범위하므로 정량적인 분석 방법을 도입하여 연구트렌드를 분석함으로써 연구테마 및 아이템을 발굴하는데 시사점을 제공 할 수 있다. 미국 NIH에서는 인체 미생물체의 메타지노믹스 연구를 시작하는 등 선진국을 중심으로 제2의 휴먼지놈프로젝트라고 불리는 장내미생물 균총에 대한 연구결과가 속속 제시되고 있다. 이런 측면에서 human microbiome 연구동향을 분석하여 식품 관련연구에 활용하기 위해 특허와 논문의 서지정보를 활용하여 정량적인 분석을 시도하였다. 분석대상은 1992년 이후로 2011년 말까지 전세계에 출원된 human microbiome 관련 특허와 논문을 대상으로 하였고, 분석프로그램은 Thomson Reuters에서 제공하는 Thomson Innovation을 사용하였다.

This study proposes to analyze the concept and introduction of infinite creative space (makerspace) to redefine the roles of existing library spaces. This study also attempts to formulate a suitable program for public library makerspaces by analyzing case studies. Literature review and case study methods are used for deriving the makerspace concept, the evolution of makerspace, the implications posed by makerspace operation domestically and abroad, and the utilization of makerspace. Finally, we suggest story creation programs, topic-based programs reflecting the library characteristics, professional mentoring programs, expert consulting programs, various training programs, patent application support programs, incubator programs, and so on.

최근 드론산업이 발전하면서 다양한 드론 활용방법에 대한 연구와 특허 출원이 진행되고 있다. 드론에서 촬영된 사진은 실종자 수색, 농작물 생육 분석 등 다양한 목적을 위해서 활용되고 있으며, 다양한 분야에서 연구개발이 이루어지고 있다. 사진에 저장되는 정보는 실제 촬영 이미지와 다양한 메타데이터를 포함하고 있으나, 카메라 제조사별로 포함되는 메타데이터의 구성이 상이한 상태이다. 본고에서는 드론에서 촬영된 사진내의 메타데이터를 사전에 정의된 표준 명세를 만족할 수 있도록 메타데이터를 정합하는 응용프로그램을 제시하였다. 본 프로그램을 활용하여 현재 수행중인 DNA+드론기술 개발과제의 참여기업들이 촬영한 드론 사진내의 메타데이터의 표준화를 함으로써, 이를 활용하여 다양한 응용 기술 개발을 담당하는 참여기업들이 표준화된 데이터를 활용하여 보다 용이하게 개발이 가능할 것으로 예상된다.
