Preimplantation embryos of the rat was examined by the morphological changes in the cortical granule envelope (CGE), blastomere surface, and zona pellucida (ZP) of embryo after cortical reaction. The ultrastructural characteristics and CGE of embryos were observed with the scanning electron microscope and fluorescence microscope. In the ultrastructural characteristic of embryo surface, surface microvilli were shortened and the CGE-like structure existed above microvilli in eight-cell embryo. Rough spongy surface and decreased network numbers were key characters of embryonic ZP compared to unfertilized oocyte. The CGE formed by cortical reaction existed in perivitelline space during embryo development but it was thin and locally distributed ill contrast to fertilized oocyte. The present results indicate that cortical reaction forms cortical granule envelope in perivitelline space and causes not only zona hardening, but also ultrastructural changes in ZP and cell membrane of preimplantation embryos.

The objective of this study is to systematically understand the swiss graphic style and examine the design ideology of designers and the visual features, with the focus on the posters that played the largest role in the formation and settlement of the swiss graphic style. Although through other visual designs such as editorial design, from the outside beyond posters, the swiss graphic style has evolved to exert a large influence around the world, based on the posters that served as the main medium for expression by designers and that were used the most in instigating the public, this study aims to cast light on the swiss graphic style, which has become recognized as the textbook of the graphic design around the world since the mid 20th century. First, the study casts light on the meaning of the creation of the graphic style through the background and the formation process, aiming to examine the visual features of the swiss graphic style and how they are integrated through the posters of Swiss designers. The personal activities and efforts of individual designers contributed significantly to the formation and development of a certain design style; however this study intends to identify the other equally important elements: the underlying social and cultural influence, the legacy of previous design styles and ideologies, the collective enthusiasm of designers, and the active progress of experimental research.

In the middle of May 2018, typical red thread disease symptoms were observed on Kentucky bluegrass (Poa pratensis L.) on a golf course, which locates at Yangsan, Gyeongnam province in Korea. Irregular-shaped patched symptoms were observed in fairway of golf course. The foliar symptom was dried out and faded to straw color and tip of the grass leaves were tangled like thread. Early morning, infected and tangled leaves were covered with the pinkish gelatinous antler-like structure (sclerotinia) as a typical red thread disease symptom. Causal fungal pathogens were isolated from the symptom in Kentucky bluegrass. The fungal culture characteristic on potato dextrose agar color of colony was pale pink and conjugated hyphae, sclerotium of irregular shape was pale pink and 3~5mm diameter in size. The pathogen was identified as Laetisaria fuciformis based on morphological and culture characteristics as well as molecular characteristics. Pathogenicity test was verified on the Kentucky bluegrass by Koch's postulates. This is the first report of red thread disease occurrence in Kentucky bluegrass by L. fuciformis in Korea.

The chemical composition of the continental crust play an important role in understanding of crustal formation and evolution and quantifying other processes taking place within continental crust. We summarized geochemical data reported in the previous literature for the crustal rocks in the Korean Peninsula and divided their chemical composition into geologic time scale. In the variation diagram normalized by average composition of the upper crustal rocks, the geochemical characteristics of the upper crust during Triassic period is different from those of the upper crustal rocks after Jurassic period or before Precambrian. However, the geochemical characteristics of the Jurassic and Precambrian period are similar each other. Our summarized data indicate that the source material of Triassic upper crust may be different from that of Jurassic or Precambrian upper crust.

The paper discusses application of soft OR methodologies, which have been developed for last decades centered in European OR communities, to strategy formation process. It is shown that there is strong similarity in understanding of strategy formation between descriptive school of strategy and the research trend of soft OR. The focus and philosophical background of cognitive school of strategy, in particular, share much in common with soft OR school. The analysis and overview of several soft OR methodologies are introduced. It is also proposed that SODA can be utilized more directly to the strategy formation process. However, it is also noted in this paper that the epistemological issues should be considered and resolved for fluent investigation of soft OR methodologies in relation with existing rich strategic research works, for soft OR adopts interpretative research methods while strategy research generally lies on positivistic approaches.

In this study, the student participation-centered class, which takes students' mathematical thinking as an important issues of the class, is named as student thinking-based math class. The main characteristics of student thinking-based mathematics classes were examined in terms of tasks, students engagement, and the role of teachers. According to the results of analysis of class cases practiced by five secondary mathematics teachers, student thinking-based mathematics classes were conducted in the intersection of the rich mathematics tasks, students' cognitive and social engagement, and the role of teachers' formative facilitator. The results of this study showed that the student's thinking is more important than the activity itself. And it is meaningful in that it examines the influence of the dynamic interaction of the three components of the mathematics class on the direction and outcome of the class.

요로 감염증은 당뇨병환자에게 흔히 발생하는 대표적인 감염질환 중 하나이다. 당뇨병환자에서 감염이 흔한 이유는 여러 가설들이 있으나, 다양한 기전에 의한 면역체계의 이상과 면역 저하 등 때문으로 생각하고 있다. 당뇨병환자에서 일반적인 감염이 좀 더 빈번하게 일어나지만 거의 당뇨병에서만 관찰되는 희귀 감염질환도 흔한데 그 중 요로의 기종성(공기주머니 형성) 염증은 특징적이다. 또한 일반 요로 감염에서는 흔하지 않은 칸디다와 같은 진균(곰팡이균)에 의한 요로 감염도 드물지 않게 관찰할 수 있다. 따라서 여기에서는 당뇨병에서 보이는 요로 감염의 특징과 대처방법에 대해서 살펴보기로 한다.

삼척군에 위치하는 환선굴 주변의 자연관경증에서 특히 동굴 형성에 영향을 주는 기후와 수문환경에 대하여 조사하여 그 특징을 파악하고자 하는 것이다. 먼저 삼척지방의 일반적인 지리적 특징을 살펴보면 대략 북위 37.5$^{\circ}$부근에 위치하고 있으며 평균 해발고도가 650m로 비교적 고지에 위치하고 있어서 최한월(1월) 평균기온이 -4$^{\circ}C$ 정도로 겨울철에는 한냉한 냉대기후(Dwb)에 해당한다. 그러나 지형과 해류의 영향으로 동위도상의 서해안 지역보다 온난하여 겨울철에도 온난한 온대습윤기후(CFa) 지역에 포함된다. 삼척군의 서쪽에 남북 방향으로 길게 발달한 태백산맥은 겨울철에 한냉한 북서계절풍을 차단해 주고 있으며 또한 푄현상으로 삼척지방에 승온현상을 일으키기도 한다.(중략)

본 연구는 역사문화의 입장에서 중국 복식문화의 원류에 관해 연구한 것으로 무속과 예약문화가 그 형성에 영향을 미친것을 밝혔다. 중국복식문화는 고대 주술문화에서 중요한 역할을 했을 뿐 아니라 상당한 비중을 차지하였다. 중국 복식문화의 성숙기와 서주때의 중국 예약문화의 형성은 매우 밀접한 상관이 있다. 예약문화의 표현에서 계급성을 내용으로 하고 형 식 성을 특징으로 하는 체제에서 중요한 작용을 하였다 동시 에 복식문화 자체도 이 시 기 에 아주 풍요롭게 발전하여 중국 문화의 견고한 기초를 확립하였다.

윈도우즈 95와 같은 멀티미디어 환경 하에서 개인 신분 확인을 위한 방법은 비밀번호를 키보드로 입력받는 것이었으나, 본 논문에서는 음성을 이용하는 방법으로 기존의 방법이 기준패턴의 시간에 따라 변하는 특성을 보상하지 못한다는 단점을 보완하는 방법이다. 즉, 이를 위해 음성신호의 특징인 기본주파수와 제1포만트의 비율을 이용하여 기준패턴을 형성화하는 방법에 관한 것이다. 제안한 방법으로 실험한 결과, 98%의 전체 인식율을 얻게 되었고, 윈도우즈 환경에서 비밀번호 사용 대신 음성 사용에 대한 가능성을 보여 주었다.
