  • 2018년 2월 9일부터 16일간 열전을 치른 평창올림픽이 25일 막을 내렸다. 강원도 평창, 정선, 강릉에서 종목별로 구분되어 치러진 이번 동계올림픽은 대회 마지막 날까지 컬링과 봅슬레이에서 메달을 추가하여 종합 7위라는 좋은 성적으로 유종의 미를 거두었다. 무엇보다 이번 올림픽은 다른 관점으로 대회를 볼 수 있는 계기를 마련해주었다는 점에서 나에게 더욱 특별했다. 바로 국민들을 감동시키고 여러 패러디 열풍을 통해 응원을 펼친 '컬링' 때문이다.

  • In this paper, we survey and analyze the characteristics of the special health and safety education in the construction industry, and provides a few solutions. In particular, the implementation of special safety and health education conducted a study to target the construction site of heavy chemical plant many domestic. If you look at the results of research and analysis, problems of special health and safety education that are currently being conducted in many cases, the proportion of respondents who do not know the special safety and health education is very high, workers of the scene, this education it is possible to know that the proportion of respondents answered to have the experience that are submitted to the work while not subject to are operated poorly in the field of special health and safety education high. Finally, improve the quality of the most important education has to be done on a priority basis that fixing the safety education system systematically in line with the actual situation in the field and the use of specialized external agency.

  • Through the use and development of underground spaces, subways have become a representative means of transportation in the city center. Due to the extension of subway lines and the increase in the number of subway users, there is a risk that safety for evacuating human lives in case of fire will not be secured. Therefore, this study tried to identify citizens' perceptions of evacuation facilities through questionnaires and find alternatives. An online survey of 115 subway passengers was conducted to learn about citizens' awareness of subway evacuation facilities. As a result of the survey, awareness of evacuation facilities was high in the order of guidance lights, life-saving devices, emergency lights and portable lights, special evacuation stairs, and evacuation stairs. In addition, the majority of the respondents said they were not well aware of evacuation facilities, and people's indifference was the most common cause. As a solution to the lack of awareness, responses to active advertising and promotion, education and experience activities were the highest.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the problem on safety and health training system in Occupational Safety and Health Act(OSHA) and to find countermeasures to improve it in the construction industry. The questionary survey was done on aiming at tracing the legal drawbacks of safety and health training system. The questionary was prepared to target on site workers, management supervisors, and safety supervisors in various construction sites. After analyzing the answers from the survey, realistic and optimal countermeasures on derived problems were proposed. These should be included on the next revision of OSHA.

Disaster Reduction Plan through Forklift Accident Case Analysis (지게차 재해사례 분석을 통한 재해감소방안)

  • Purpose: In order to reduce industrial accidents caused by forklift trucks, it is actually necessary to analyze the causes of accidents. This study aims to present disaster prevention measures by analyzing accident cases by forklift accident type. Method: For the analysis of industrial accidents, including serious industrial accidents caused by forklifts from 2021 to 2022, accident statistics from the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency were used to analyze accidents in four types. Result: In the last two years, the total number of victims, including deaths and other serious injuries, was 2,559, which was 1,396 in 2021 and 1,163 in 2022. Disaster prevention measures were presented for industrial accidents by size and occurrence type of equipment that cause serious industrial accidents in which more than 1,000 people are injured annually. Conclusion: It is necessary to expand the number of workers subject to the forklift financial support project to less than 100. It is necessary to amend the proviso on boarding restrictions in Article 86, Paragraph 7 of the 「Regulations on Industrial Safety and Health Standards」. It is mandatory to install front and rear cameras. It is necessary to install driving-linked safety belts. It is necessary to install line beams obligatory. It is necessary to expand the subject of forklift special safety and health education to workplaces that have more than one forklift truck, and it is necessary to redesignate the training hours to 16 hours every year.

Analysis of Death Accidents of Hazardous and Dangerous Works defined in Regulation for Employment Restriction and Special Education for Safety and Health (유해·위험작업의 취업제한에 관한 규칙 및 특별안전보건교육 대상작업의 사망재해 분석에 관한 연구)

  • With the changes of industrial structure, contents and types in hazardous and dangerous works have been changed considerably. However, the hazardous and dangerous works by defined "Regulation for the hazardous and dangerous work employment restriction" and "Special education for safety and health"have not been amended over twenty years. This study aimed to identify the recent trends of the works by analyzing the death accidents cases from 2004 to 2013 and to present the management methods about future hazardous and dangerous works. The results showed that amount of 1,972 cases among 11,513 death accidents were equivalent to the works presented by "Regulation for the hazardous and dangerous work employment restriction". The amount of death accidents in 'Work of using construction equipment following construction machinery management act' was biggest among the death accidents cases and that of 'Work of handling pressure vessels following high-pressure gas safety control act' didn't show up. For the works in "Special education for safety and health"amount of 1,650 death accidents cases were equivalent. The amount of death accidents in 'Work involving a crane with a capacity of 1 ton or more or work which is carried out with a crane or hoist with a capacity of less than 1 ton in a workplace having at least 5 such machines' presented by "Special education for safety and health"was biggest. Also, death accidents case didn't occurred in three works presented by "Special education for safety and health". It was analyzed that works with low death accidents cases should be needed to study thoroughly the whole disaster research involving nonfatal accidents.   • Purpose: This is for the purpose to help the bill related to technologists be systematic and unitary by carefully analyzing a legislation, an enforcement ordinance, and enforcement regulations in the connection with the radiological worker and the radiation workers from the law and regulations related to technologists. Materials and Methods: Concerning technologists, a legislation, an enforcement ordinance, and enforcement regulations for a sort of medical technician, regarding the radiological worker, the rules of diagnosis radiation equipment safety management, and concerning the radiation workers, atomic energy law, an enforcement ordinance and enforcement regulations were gathered, compared with one another, and analyzed. Results: Among technologists, in the case of working in the department of diagnosis radiation, the title 'Radiological Worker' is used by the Medical Service Law, and in the case of working in the department of radiation tumors or the one of nucleus medicine, the title 'Radiation Workers' is used by the Atomic Energy Law. Conclusion: Besides the technical term that is used by characteristic tasks, unification of the terms that can be used in common is necessary for sure. And when a legislation, an enforcement ordinance, enforcement regulations, and notification, things like that in the radiation field are amended, certainly they should be done by mutual agreement through negotiation between the organization related to radiation and the governmental organization.
