본 논문은 시청자가 TV를 시청하다가 마음에 드는 화면이 있으면, 이를 캡춰해서 친구들에게 메시지로 보내는 서비스를 구현하는 방법을 기술한다. 이를 위해서는 셋톱박스에서 실행되는 Xlet 애플리케이션에서 비디오 스트림의 특정화면을 캡춰할 수 있어야 하는데, 현재 미들웨어는 이런 기능을 제공하고 있지 않다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 Xlet application 에서 시청자가 지정한 화면의 시점값을 방송국 서버로 전송하고, 서버에서 해당 화면을 캡춰하여 이를 시청자가 원하는 수신자에게 보내주는 방법을 사용한다. 미들웨어 API 표준에서 현재의 NPT (Normal Play Time) 을 알려주는 API 를 제공하므로, 애플리케이션에서 시청자가 원하는 시점의 NPT 를 구해 이를 방송국 서버로 보내고, 서버에서는 이 NPT 에 해당되는 동영상의 미디어 타임을 구해, 그 시간에 해당되는 프레임을 계산하여 화면을 캡춰한다. 본 기술을 활용하면 서버에서 캡춰된 화면을 Mobile, Web 등의 매체에도 전송할 수 있으므로 유무선통합, 방통융합형 서비스로 확장해 나갈 수 있다.

In this paper, a home network access agent, which controls and monitors networked appliances at home using various terminals regardless of user's location, is designed and implemented. The proposed access agent integrates wire and wireless network on a home gateway (or home server) and is accessed with consistent messages using various terminals such as a web terminal, a PDA and a cellular phone. Also, in order to verify the operation and availability of the agent, a user interface for the various terminals is designed and a home network testbed which is accessed and controlled by the terminals is implemented.

B2B EC에서 지능형 에이전트에 대한 요구의 증가와 함께 기업구매자가 직접 전자시장으로부터 구매하는 데스크탑 구매의 요구도 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 본 논문에서는 B2B 상에서 전자시장으로부터의 효율적인 구매를 지원하는 b-Cart 기반 에이전트 시스템의 설계 사례에 대해서 기술한다. b-Cart는 구매자가 소유하고 사용되는 구매자 사이트에 위치한 쇼핑카트로서, 본 논문에서는 B2B EC에서의 b-Cart 기반 에이전트 시스템의 요구 기능을 사용자식별(Identification), 사용자 다이알로그(User Dialog), 상품정보수집(Collection), 물품정보제거(Trashing), 개별 구매의사결정지원(Individual Purchase Decision Support), 조직 구매의사결정지원(Organizational Purchase Decision Support), 협상(Negotiation), 주문처리(Ordering), 지불처리(Payment), 진행사항 추적(Tracking), 구매기록(Recording), 전자구매시스템에 구매기록 전송(Record Transmission), 지식베이스에 새로운 지식 유지(Knowledge Maintenance)으로 정의하고, b-Cart 기반 에이전트 시스템의 메시지 인터페이스를 설계하고 시스템의 구조를 설계하여 프로토타입 시스템인 AgentB의 설계 사례를 소개한다. b-Cart 기반 에이전트시스템은 기업구매자의 전자시장으로부터 구매자 증가함에 따라 분산된 정보를 관리 해주고 통합적으로 구매처리를 해줄수 있는 효과적인 시스템이다. 향 후 B2B EC의 에이전트 시스템은 b-Cart를 기반으로 할 것으로 예측할 수 있다.

현재 모바일 환경에서 다양한 자료 동기화 프로토콜 및 솔루션이 개발되었지만 이들 간의 상호호환성은 보장되고 있지 않은 실정이어서 관리의 어려움이 따르고 있다. 이에 본 연구팀은 통합된 자료 동기화 서버를 운용하기 위한 방안으로 서로 다른 자료 동기화 프로토콜 기반의 동기화 메시지 또는 자료를 통일된 형식으로 변환하기 위한 스탠드 얼론 (Stand alone) 자료 동기화 게이트웨이와 임베디드 자료 동기화 게이트웨이를 개발하였다. 하지만 두 게이트웨이는 규모의 확장성 (Scalability)과 자료 변환 성능 측면에서 상반된 장단점을 가지므로 두 게이트웨이의 성능을 비교/분석하여 전체 자료 동기화 시스템의 특성에 따라 상대적으로 효율적인 게이트웨이를 선택 운용하여야 할 필요성이 발생하였다. 게이트웨이 시스템의 특성상 성능 평가를 위해서는 다수의 모바일 단말기를 운용하여야 한다는 어려움이 있으므로 본 논문에서는 성능 분석을 위한 시뮬레이션 모델을 설계하였다. 시뮬레이션 모델을 통해 전체 단말기의 수와 동기화 요청 빈도에 따른 두 게이트웨이의 성능의 팔꿈치 지점을 파악할 수 있을 것이며, 이를 통해 각 자료 동기화 시스템 별 적합한 게이트웨이를 선택 운용하는데 도움이 될 것이다. 또한 병목현상이 발생하는 팔꿈치 지점을 개선함으로써, 전체 자료 동기화 시스템의 성능 향상에도 기여할 수 있을 것이다.

With the development of autonomous driving technology, the number of external contact sensors mounted on vehicles is increasing, and the importance is also rising. The vehicular ultrasonic sensor uses the LIN protocol in the form of a bus topology and reports a status message about its surroundings through the vehicle's internal network. Since ultrasonic sensors are vulnerable to various threats due to poor security protocols, physical testing on actual vehicle is needed. Therefore, this paper developed a LIN-CAN co-analysis testbed with a jig for location-specific distance test to examine the operational relation between LIN and CAN caused by ultrasonic sensors.

Objective : The purpose of this study is to present an analysis model in developing an inclusive response for safety hazards and disaster preventive information system for vulnerable people to the disaster including persons with disabilities, and those with specific needs. Methods : In this study, the persona analysis method is used to analyze fictitious characters that correspond to various characteristics such as age, disability, environment, occupation, etc. in terms of the scenario of some particular disaster subjects. Based on the user's communication problems derived from the persona analysis, focused group interview and ICF based analysis were implemented to identify needs and arbitration methods. Results : The needs from persona analysis and ICF-based communication items analysis identifies the factors that make each fictitious character difficult in terms of communication in obtaining the benefits consistent with the purpose of the service. The study derives service requirements that can provide arbitration or facilitation methods to increase communication ability of the users. Conclusion : Through the persona analysis method, difficulties that could occur when receiving disaster information using communication devices were identified and analyzed in conjunction with communication problems described in the ICF. In building information services for the prevention of safety hazards and disasters, this study presented a model that uses the persona analysis method and the ICF classification system to derive user requirements for accessible information system.

Recently, the on-board equipments of vessels are getting diversifications with high technologies. With changing the trends, the shipboard network is turning to the light-weight ethernet architecture for integrated data management. For that necessity, this paper covers a development of the gateway system which gathers and processes the measured analog or NMEA data from loaded equipments to convert the messages based on IEC 61162-450 (standard for light-weight ethernet network of ships) in engine parts of small vessel. To do this, we analyzed the requirements for standardization of ship's equipments and related studies. To solve the problems of existing equipments, we defined the additional data formats (sentence formatter), developed the gateway system, and verified the utility of the developed system. Consequently, we established an interfacing framework for management and application of the generated data based on the ethernet in vessel.

IPv6 has appeared for solving the address exhaustion of IPv4 and for guaranteeing the problems of security and QoS. It occurs the unexpected new attacks of IPv6 as well as the existing attacks of IPv4 because of the increasing address space to 128bits and the address hierarchies for efficient network management and additions of the new messages between nodes and routers like neighbor discovery and auto address configuration for the various comfortable services. For the successful transition from IPv4 to IPv6, we should get the secure compatibility between IPv4 hosts or routers working based on secure and systematic policy and IPv6. Network manager should design security technologies for efficient management in IPv4/IPv6 co-existence network and IPv6 network and security management framework designation. In this paper, we inspected the characteristics of IPv4 and IPv6, study on security requirement for efficient security management of various attacks, protocol, service in IPv4/IPv6 co-existence and IPv6 network, and finally suggest integrated solution about security vulnerability of IPv6 network in considering of analysis of IPv6 system, host and application, IPv6 characteristics, modified CGA(MCGA).
