  • 여러 분야에 걸쳐 수많은 논문을 인용하면서, 현재 나의 연구 분야와 관련된 특이한 점을 발견 할 수 있었다. 즉, 수 천 편의 관련 논문이 출판되었으면서도 1990년 이전의 참고문헌을 찾아볼 수 없었고, 아울러 최근 3-4년 동안 대부분의 관련 논문이 출판되었다는 점이다. 이는 전세계적으로 수많은 과학자들이 본 연구분야와 관련하여 학문적 중요성을 인식하고, 최근에 이 분야의 연구 자료를 한꺼번에 쏟아 부은 결과일 것이다. 이 연구분야의 관심이 세계적으로 증가하면서 4년 전에는 관련 과학자들의 모임이 미국에서부터 시작되어 현재는 소규모의 학회 성격을 띠고 있다. 그런데 최근에 학문적 성격이 부각되어 많은 과학자들이 앞다투어 이 분야의 연구에 뛰어들고 있는 시점에서 국내에서는 아직 많은 결과물이 나오지 않고 있으며, 그 관련 학자들의 인적 구성조차도 미미한 실정이다. 그래서 보다 많은 국내 연구진들이 이 분야에 관심을 가지고 토의함으로서 국내에서도 연구 분위기가 활성화될 수 있기를 기대하면서 본 논단을 review 형식으로 접하고자 한다. 전체적인 이해를 돕고자 catenin과 관련된 연구의 시대적 흐름을 먼저 설명하고, 그 다음 구체적인 내용을 설명하고자 한다.

  • The effort to generate new values in this age of digital technology characterized by rapid changes in information and knowledge demands transformations not only in the sociocultural and educational spheres but also specifically in the field of arts and culture education. One of the greatest transformations is emphasis on integration and consilience among different fields which has impacted the field of arts and culture, giving birth to the practice of arts and culture education. Digital technology actively utilizes in lots of subjects, which, also becomes a challenging factor for the field of arts and culture education. In this context, this study theoretically considered to approach music technology to use for the field of arts and culture education. Utilization of music technology takes interdisciplinary approaches combining various subjects in the field of arts and culture education. Considering the current circumstances in which there is a lack of teaching and learning methodologies which reflect the unique, specialized nature and the intrinsic originality of the field of arts and culture education. It is deemed that by accumulating more case studies applying music technology in practice to a wider variety of targets and situations. Music technology will serve the role of an important a learning tool for the arts and culture education field.

How has 'Hakmun'(學問, learning) become converted into a modern concept? focused on 'gyeogchi'(格致) and 'gungni'(窮理) (학문(學問) 개념의 근대적 변환 - '격치(格致)', '궁리(窮理)' 개념을 중심으로 -)

  • In the East Asian Confucianism society, Hakmun was aimed to bring human beings and nature into harmony, and to explore a unity between knowledge and conducts. For example, Neo-Confucianism aspired they could explain the human existence and society through a single concept of Iki(理氣, the basic principles and the atmospheric force of nature). In this philosophy, humanics and natural sciences had not been differentiated at all. The East-West cultural interchanges at the beginning of modernity caused a crack in the traditional academic concepts. Through the Hundred Days of Reform(變法自疆運動, a movement of Strenuous Efforts through Reforming the Law), the Western Affairs Movement(洋務運動) in China, Meiji Restoration(明治維新) in Japan, or Innovation Movements(開化運動) and the Patriotic Enlightenment Movement(愛國啓蒙運動) in Korea, the traditional meanings of Hakmun was degraded while it became a target of the criticism of the enlightenment movements. Accordingly, East Asians' perception of Hakmun rapidly began to change. Although there had been the Silhak(實學, practical science) movement in Korea, which tried to differentiate its conceptualization of Hakmun from that of Neo-Confucianism during the 18th and 19th century, the fundamental shift in meaning occurred with the influx of the modern Western culture. This change converted the ultimate objective of Hakmun as well as its methods and substances. The separation of humanics and natural sciences, rise in dignity of the technological sciences, and subdivision of learning into disciplines and their specialization were accelerated during the Korean enlightenment period. The inflow of the modern western science, humanized thought, and empiricism functioned as mediators in these phase and they caused an irreversible crack in the traditional academic thoughts. Confronting the western mode of knowledge, however, the East Asian intellectuals had to explain their new learning by using traditional terms and concepts; modification was unavoidable when they tried to explain the newly imported knowledge and concepts. This presentation focuses on the traditional concepts of 'gyeogchi'(格致, extending knowledge by investigating things) and 'gungni'(窮理, investigation of principles), pervasively used in philosophy, physics and many other fields of study. These concepts will mark the key point with which to trace changes of knowledge and to understand the way how the concept of Hakmun was converted into a modern one.

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest some strategies for integrated science. It also suggests educational strategies through worldview. The directions of most educational policy are based on the deficit model. It is assumed that learners are always lacking in knowledge, and as a result they do not understand properly. However, it is difficult for the public and students to change their attitudes because they do not feel much lacking. For example, the world view of climate change coexists with an optimistic mechanical worldview and an organic and entropy worldview. This study is characterized by the process of expanding awareness of living and fulfillment of knowledge rather than the existing deprivation model. Unconnected knowledge has problems in diversity. It is neither sustainable nor flexible. It is not about eliminating interdisciplinarity but about lowering it. We go into another area with your deep expertise, but we must have a purpose. As a result, not only problem solving but also dynamic feedback of mutual feedback between other domains increases the quality and quantity of knowledge.

Contents Organization of Science Curriculum for the 10th Grade Students Focusing on the Integrated Concepts (통합 개념을 중심으로 한 고등학교 1학년 과학교육과정의 내용 구성)

  • Science has an essentially integrated character as a discipline that explores the natural phenomena. And the integrated science education is required to achieve the goals of science education to forster scientific literacy of all students. In this respect, we defined the basic concepts and principles that can penetrate the natural phenomena as an integrated concepts in this study, and organized the contents of integrated science curriculum around them. Integrated concept centered curriculum was intended for the 10th grade students and the breadth and depth of learning concepts were represented by presenting the achievement level of the learning concepts. Contents organization of integrated science curriculum presented in this study was meant to provide a new perspectives to the revision of the national integrated science curriculum that is currently in progress.

Development of Theme-Based Integrated Unit in the Middle School Science and Analysis of it's Effects (중학교 과학수업을 위한 주제중심 통합단원의 개발 및 효과 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop theme-based integrated science unit by the interdisciplinary approach and to analyze it's effects on the science achievement and the attitude towards science learning. 'Interaction' and 'Stability' were selected as the integrated themes, and the main concept and subconcept in relation to the themes were extracted from the four areas of science, and the learning contents were constructed in the integrated ways. While the main concept have relevance to subconcept in the interaction, the main concept have little relevance to subconcept in the stability. Therefore, the stability was to fit with middle school integrated science theme, but the interaction was not. The theme-based integrated science units developed was implemented in middle school, and the results are follows. First, the science achievement of group of theme-based integrated science teaching is significantly higher than those of group of traditional teaching. Second, the scores of the test of attitude toward science learning of the group of theme-based integrated science teaching is significantly higher than those of group of traditional teaching. Third, the students' perception of theme-based integrated science teaching was positive. The students have participation, interest, motivation in theme-based integrated science teaching, and students have difficulty in learning theme-based integrated science teaching.

  • 본 사례는 생명보험업계의 선도기업인 (주)삼성생명이 고객관계관리(CRM)의 시스템을 도입하게 된 배경과 도입과정 그리고 그 성과를 분석한 것이다. 고객관계관리의 중요성을 널리 알고 있으면서도 실질적으로 전략이 설정되고 시스템이 도입되어 실행되는 예는 전 산업계에서 그리 많지 않은 것이 현실이다. 본 사례를 통하여 어떤 전략 하에 CRM 시스템이 도입되고 실행되는가의 프로세스를 분석하여 성공적인 고객관계관리에 학문적인 그리고 실무적인 시사점을 제공한다.

An Exploration of the Associations between the Features of Science Performance Assessments and PCK during High School Integrated Science Lessons (고등학교 통합과학 수행평가 사례를 통해 탐색한 교사의 수행평가 실천 특성과 PCK 사이의 관련성)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine whether and how the features of performance assessments implemented during integrated science classes are related to teachers' PCK. We observed and video recorded four high school teachers' performance assessment practices, interviewed them, and surveyed their PCK. An analysis of the data shows that the teachers' performance assessment practices differed in terms of assessment of process, diagnosis of student learning progress, feedback, degree of classroom interactions, and use of assessment criteria. In particular, the opportunities for students to participate in assessment actively and use of assessment for learning varied across teachers. Also, relational patterns among science teaching orientations, PCK and performance assessment practices were found. When a teacher aimed at teaching for both academic learning and scientific literacy, sophisticated PCK was shown and assessment practices were complex accordingly. When scientific literacy was emphasized PCK highlighted experiential learning and assessments were not clearly distinguished from learning activities. In contrast, when academic achievement was emphasized traditional teaching strategies and assessments were highlighted. Based on these findings a number of topics for professional development are suggested including strategies for students' active engagement in assessment, use and development of specific assessment criteria, strategies for assessing performance qualities, and intuitive assessment competency development. Further research topics are also suggested.

The Discourse for Academic Generation of 'School library Education Science' (문헌정보교육학의 학문적 생성 담론)

  • This study presents the discourse for academic generation of 'School Library Education Science' based on integrative research between library & information science and education science. The study discusses research fields and themes of 'School Library Education Science' as the base to define the roles of the school library and of teacher-librarians. It contributes to upgrading the research level of the school library. The research field in the school library analyzes and integrates both aspects of library & information science and of education science. The developed theories of 'School Library Education Science' present Library-Based Education and Library-Based Learning, Base Connectionism, Base Integrationism, Top456 Approach, Curriculum-Based Approach, Viewpoint Approach, and Education of Information and the Library as a Subject Matter. The trends in research of the school library analyze the thesis numbers of academic journals. The future research challenges of 'School Library Education Science' discuss the educational basics of the school library, operational management, electronic school libraries, and educational activities. Conclusively, this study analyzes the current situation of the school library & of teacher-librarians in Korea, and provides its solution by the aspects of 'School Library Education Science'.

  • 빅데이터 분석은 데이터베이스에 잘 정리된 정형 데이터뿐 아니라 인터넷, 소셜 네트워크 서비스, 모바일 환경에서 생성되는 웹 문서, 이메일, 소셜 데이터 등 비정형 데이터를 효과적으로 분석하는 기술을 말한다. 메타분석은 여러 실증연구의 정량적인 결과를 통합과 분석을 통해 전체 결과를 조망할 수 있는 기회를 제공하는 통계적 통합 방법이다. 전자상거래 연구에서 혁신확산에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 상대적 이점, 적합성, 복잡성, 시험 가능성, 관찰 가능성, 편리성 그리고 커뮤니케이션 채널을 외부 요인으로 설정된 연구를 대상으로 하고자 한다. 다음으로 국내 주요 학회지에 게재된 혁신확산이론 관련연구에서 어떠한 요인들을 사용하고 있고 또한 이러한 외부요인들이 종속변수에 어느 정도의 설명력을 가지는지를 메타분석을 통해 알아보고자 한다. 이러한 연구모델을 바탕으로 학문적 실무적 의의를 논의하고자 한다.
