Cold Storage Management System using RFID Deployment Simulator for Optimized Business Process (최적화된 비즈니스 프로세스를 위한 RFID 배치 시뮬레이터 기반의 냉동창고 관리 시스템)

  • Recently, the aim of cold storage warehouse is not only to provide preservation of the quality of perishable foods but also to use state-of-the-art information systems to rapidly move products across the cold chain. An RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) is an automatic identification method that detects signals from mobile objects, and tracks and traces movement of the objects. RFID can be used to turn a cold storage warehouses into a real-time system. In this paper, we develop an cold storage management system to support the optimized business processes with RFID system. First of all, business processes in the cold storage warehouse are analyzed. Then design factors which should be considered for incorporating RFID are defined. Design values which set to the design factors can be extracted from using RFID deployment simulator. as a result, the design values make RFID to be efficiently integrated to existing business processes.

Implementation of Smart Automatic Warehouse to Improve Space Utilization

  • In this paper, we propose a smart automated warehouse to maximize space utilization. Previous elevator-type automatic warehouses were designed with a maximum payload of 100kg on trays, which has the problem of extremely limiting the number of pallets that can be loaded within the space. In this paper, we design a smart warehouse that can maximize space utilization with a maximum vertical stiffness of 300kg. As a result of the performance evaluation of the implemented warehouse, the maximum payload was 500.6kg, which satisfied the original design and requirements, the lifting speed was 0.5m/s, the operating noise of the device was 67.1dB, the receiving and forwarding time of the pallet was 36.92sec, the deflection amount was 4mm, and excellent performance was confirmed in all evaluation items. In addition, the PLC control method, which designs the control UI and control panel separately, was integrated into the PC system to improve interoperability and maintainability with various process management systems. In the future, we plan to develop it into a fully automatic smart warehouse by linking IoT sensor-based logistics robots.

Design of Integrated Smart Fire Protection System for Rack Storage (랙크식 창고 통합 스마트 화재대응 시스템 설계)

  • It is very difficult to suppress fire by rapid flame spread through flue space between flammable commodities on the rack when a fire occurs in the rack storage. At present, the fire protection system for rack storage in Korea has many issues, and the new fire protection system was designed and developed by it. A smart system using the sensor network and artificial intelligence was designed to detect fire very rapidly and track the location of a fire. In the very early stages, the system was constructed using vertical open sprinkler pipes, wet pipes, and solenoid valves to allow water to spray near fire locations. Based on the design results, the system was installed and tested, and the full-scale test was successfully completed.

An Analysis of Efficiency in Container Shipment Cargo Volumes after Integrated Operation of Depots : Focusing on C Company (Depot 통합에 따른 출고 컨테이너 효율성 분석 : C사 모델을 중심으로)

  • As the growth of warehouse stores has been accelerated, the importance of logistics for warehouse stores has been also increasing. In this respect, this study analyzed the transportation efficiency after the integrated operation of depots by C Company using GIS. According to the results of analysis of changes in container shipment cargo volumes, in terms of delivery distances, a total of 1,028,699 km of delivery car driving was shown to be necessary when one depot was operated, while a total of 2,866,604km of car driving was shown to be necessary so that 1,028,699km of car driving was reduced per year. In terms of delivery time too, 62 hours of time was saved per day and a total of 36% reduction in time could be expected. This study presented the effects of depot integration and delivery changes to improve operation processes and reduce delivery time and distances using GIS OD Matrix. The results of this study can be used as an important indicator for judgment that can affect the delivery process of other warehouse discount stores.

A Study on the Operation Plan of the Gangwon-do Disaster Management Resources Integrated Management Center (강원도 재난관리자원 통합관리센터 운영방안에 관한 연구)

  • In Korea, as disasters become larger and more complex, there is a trend of shifting from a focus on response and recovery to a focus on prevention and preparedness. In order to prevent and prepare for disasters, each local government manages disaster management resources by stockpiling them. However, although disaster management resources are stored in individual warehouses, they are managed by department rather than by warehouse, resulting in insufficient management of disaster management resources due to the heavy workload of those in charge. In order to intensively manage these disaster management resources, an integrated disaster management resource management center is established and managed at the metropolitan/provincial level. In the case of Gangwon-do, the subject of this study, a warehouse is rented and operated as an integrated disaster management resource management center. When leasing an integrated management center, there is the inconvenience of having to move the location every 1 to 2 years, so it is deemed necessary to build a dedicated facility in an available site. To select a location candidate, network analysis was used to measure access to and use of facilities along interconnected routes of networks such as roads and railways. During network analysis, the Location-Allocation method, which was widely used in the past to determine the location of multiple facilities, was applied. As a result, Hoengseong-gun in Gangwon-do was identified as a suitable candidate site. In addition, if the integrated management center uses our country's logistics system to stockpile disaster management resources, local governments can mobilize disaster management resources in 3 days, and it is said that it takes 3 days to return to normal life after a disaster occurs. Each city's disaster management resource stockpile is 3 days' worth per week, and the integrated management center stores 3 times the maximum of the city's 4-day stockpile.

  • 본 논문에서는 공장의 모든 생산 환경을 컴퓨터를 이용, 자동화하는 컴퓨터 통합 생산(CIM)의 작업장 통제 시스템을 비롯한 중앙 통제 제어시스템, 자동창고시스템, 자동 운반기 시스템 등을 위한 데이타베이스 처리기의 프로토타입을 설계 및 구현하였다. 이를 위해 FA전용 데이타베이스 처리기(database processor)의 요구 기능을 명세하고, 처리기의 기본 구조 및 실시간 지원기법들을 제시했으며 단순 구조 질의어로써 SSQL(Simple Structured Query Language)을 개발하였다.

Integrated Storage System For Automobile Production Line (자동차 생산라인을 위한 통합창고 시스템)

  • The automobile manufacture is a typical integrated assembly production that the numerous parts are committed sequentially to the assembly line. In this type of automobile manufacture, WBS (white body storage) and PBS (paint body storage) are operated to adjust the production sequence and to buffer. Starvation (impossibility of production owing to the insufficient supply) or blocking (impossibility of production owing to the over capacity) could occur in some chance, hence, both storages (WBS, PBS) are integrated as a prevention. This system is called integrated storage. In this paper, we suggest the simulation model of 'WBS-PBS integrated storage' and methodology of operation considering both 'Color grouping' and 'Option leveling.'

건설안전리포트 - 삼성에버랜드 '수도권 통합물류센터' 신축현장

  • 경기도 김포시의 변화가 예사롭지 않다. 한강신도시가 들어서면서 신흥 주거지로 명성을 높이더니, 이제 경인아라뱃 사업이 본격화됨에 따라 산업계의 시선 역시 집중시키고 있다. 경인아라뱃길 사업이 산업계의 주목을 받는 가장 큰 이유는 김포터미널(김포 고촌읍 전호리 일대)에 조성될 '김포물류단지' 때문이다. '김포물류단지'의 북측에는 마리나를 중심으로 관광, 레저 및 수변상업시설이 배치된다. 또 남측에는 컨테이너 부두와 연계한 장고 집송시설 등 물류시설이 들어선다. 가히 문화와 산업이 어우러진 수도권 서부지역 최대의 물류소통 전진기지가 등장하는 것이다. 이 전진기지의 중심에는 삼성에버랜드가 시공하고 있는 '수도권 통합물류센터' 가 있다. 이 센터는 연면적 $63,571m^2$의 물류창고로, 김포물류단지 내에서는 최대 규모를 자랑한다. 즉 김포물류단지를 대표하는 건축물인 셈이다. 때문에 삼성에버랜드는 큰 책임감과 자긍심을 갖고 시공에 임하고 있다. '철저한 안전관리' 로 김포물류단지의 랜드마크를 선보이겠다는 이곳 현장을 찾아가 봤다.
