Policy of Information Service for Aged Welfare (노인복지정보서비스 향상을 위한 정책방향)

  • This paper was studied on policy direction of information service for aged welfare. An element on social changes is as follow: economic problem, medical problem, leisure problem, alienation problem. Solution of this problem needs information service. Information service is Telecommuting service, home shopping service, medical support service, medical information service, telemedical support service, internet service, and knowledge studying support service. The results of this study is as follow: First, aged welfare organization must be constructed. Second, Network for aged welfare must be constructed. Third an aged must be utilization of information service. Fourth, policy of nation must be changes. Fifth, information service of aged welfare must be developed.

English E-Learning System Based on .NET Framework (.Net Framework를 이용한 영어 이러닝 시스템)

  • Existing e-learning systems not only require complex admission processes but also do not give stepwise education methods according to individual learners' characteristic. These circumstances cause learners to lose educational interest so that their educational efficiency decreases. In particular, the present e-learning systems do not provide educational approaches suitable for infant and elementary children. Under this system, the e-learning education for children does not proceed completely without guardians. To solve this problem, we design and implement an English e-learning system for elementary children based on friendly and comfortable user interfaces. For children, the proposed system reflects their age and individual interesting per each e-learning stage. This system supports both the Web application platform and smart phone application platform for various client requirements. The proposed system manages 3 classes as English learning content. Learners can experience their own English e-learning course in each class, which is compiled by current educational ability. In addition to the general functions in e-learning system, the proposed system develops content buffering algorithm to reduce data traffic in server.

  • Recently, the youth unemployment becomes the significant social problems and various industry-university cooperation projects those reflect the job site oriented education are planned and fulfilled at the university in order to help graduates to get the job easily. These efforts, however, becomes job hunting failure or suffers lots of trials and errors without reflecting the correct circumstances of the job market properly. In this paper, we propose the business model for training the 4th grade students as a job site oriented software engineers in BLE fields through tight industry-university cooperation and fulfill the related project. After then, we search for the problems and failure factors of the business model through the correspondence strategy analysis for weaknesses and threat factors and propose the improved and successful business model.

  • This study proposes strategies for economic development through mobile in Africa where mobile emerges as an infra to solve socioeconomic problems. It analyzes economy and ICT industry in Africa and studies several cases that are utilized in agriculture, finance, education, and healthcare. It also examines economic development theory and the impact of broadband on economic growth and development. It is necessary to leapfrog to mobile to achieve an information society and a compact industrialization based on ICT because fixed-line is very poor and expensive in Africa. Building a mobile broadband infra, supporting a dissemination of low-end smartphones and a government's support for mobile contents are necessary to achieve a leapfrogging development through mobile in Africa. The findings of this study provide additional insights for Korean ICT companies to consider a business in Africa.

  • Transportation culture is an inseparable part of a group's overall culture. Since the term "transportation" is directly related to vehicular movement, I would like to propose the more general term: transportation culture and use that in the following paragraphs. Transportation culture is on one hand expressed by the consumers of transportation services reflecting their overall social culture and on the other hand taken into account by transportation professionals. Ministry of Land and Transportation conducted the Transportation Culture Index, a nationally representative survey, to assess a few key indicators of the degree to which ttransportation culture is valued and is being pursued every year. In this study, recommendation for TCI are explained based on theoretical framework and changing environment.

Study on Comparison of an I/O Program Execution Time to Intel Series μPs : 8085, 8086, 8051 and 80386 (마이크로프로세서 I/O 프로그램 실행시간 비교 연구 : 8085, 8086, 8051 및 80386)

  • Microprocessors of 8 to 16 bits have become the first step of today's computer development with excellent capability and a lot of those are still used in the educational spots. In this study, execution times of Intel series microprocessors(${\mu}ps$) available to microprocessor systems of 8 to 32 bits are obtained and compared by I/O programs. The compared result showed that execution time related to the instruction cycles of 8 bit 8051 was longer than that of 8 bit 8051 and of 16 bit 8086 by a lot of number of clocks in cases of clock frequencies at 4 MHz and at 12 MHz. In cases of really many using ${\mu}p$ clock frequencies, it showed that execution times of instructions have become faster by the order of 8085, 8086, 8051 and 80386. It can be helped to interface with ${\mu}ps$ for real time control through comparing with execution times of I/O programs by mainly many usable Intel series ${\mu}ps$ in our nation.

Effect of Pre-early Childhood Teachers' Self-efficacy and Ego Resiliency on SNS Addiction Tendency (예비유아교사의 자기효능감 및 자아탄력성이 SNS중독경향성에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the predictive power of the effect of pre-early childhood teachers' self-efficacy and ego resiliency on the SNS addiction tendency. To this end, a self - administered survey was conducted for 117 students in the first, second, and third grades of junior college of junior college in metropolitan area and multiple regression analysis was performed based on the collected data. The research findings showed that self-efficacy and ego resiliency had a negative effect on SNS addiction tendency. This suggests that self-efficacy and ego resiliency are statistically significant variables in predicting pre-early childhood teachers' SNS addiction tendency. These results also suggest that specific measures for enhancing self-efficacy and ego resiliency should be considered as precautionary measures to prevent SNS addiction of pre-early childhood teachers.

  • The Internet is emerging as a powerful tool in the area of information and communication technology. The WWW has been especially contributed to increase the internet demand because of its browser which has "Graphic User Interface". Nowadays number of hosts that supply harmful information such as pornographic materials, and the infringement of human rights is rapidly increased. Access to such materials is very easy. Therefore security system which will protect young users from access to harmful host is needed. This paper presents implementation of user system has database about harmful hosts at the Internet and monitors that the user traffic over LAM get touch with the hosts. The system can not make the user access the harmful host because it can over LAN. The performance analysis on the developed system monitoring the traffic over LAN of Andong university is carried out. The performance analysis of monitoring results satisfies with preventing users from the connection to the internet harmful sites.

Development of a Horse Robot for Indoor Leisure Sports (실내 레저 스포츠를 위한 승마 로봇의 개발)

  • Recently, indoor sports simulator equipped with virtual reality devices, like screen golf system, are riding high. There have been many attempts to develop the indoor simulator systems which can make people enjoy exercises in various sports area. A real horseback riding could not have been popularized, because of the cost involved, difficulty to learn and its dangerousness. In this research, a robotic horseback riding platform based on parallel mechanism and virtual reality device is proposed. The proposed platform provides realistic riding feels and various levels of riding difficulty. The equipped motion capture system with a vision sensor enables riders to correct their riding posture based on expert's one. The developed horseback riding platform make it possible to enjoy a horseback riding in all weather, and also can be used for systematic horseback riding training.
