  • 신부는 최근 민간 VAN업체에 대한 국제 VAN의 조기 허용등 사업영역 확대와 정보통신사업 육성자금의 조기지원, 통신회선의 고속화, 정보통신기술 개발과 표준화의 강화, 통신회선요금의 감면등을 포함한 정보통신육성계획을 발표했다. 체신부가 세계적인 서비스교육의 자유화추세에 대응해 그동안 민간업체들의 요구를 전폭 수용한 동계획 전반을 소개한다.

  • In recent years, amount of studies on application of wetbased educational system are proceeding in educational field. This study proposes design and implementation for web-based learning system using WMT in order to practise assistance learning between teacher and students on the web. For system design and implementation, this study utilizes Windows 2000 Server and Windows Media Technology. Using WMT, we make teaming materials and put them in web-based educational system. It should be possible to make teaming in accordance with Windows Media Player for a long-distance students. As a result, this study expects to accomplish a web-based learning between teacher and student on the web.

  • In the basis on the revised Information and Communications Technology guidelines at elementary and middle school, it is newly emphasized in 3rd stage of ICT guidelines that the programming education is needed to cope with information-oriented society at the elementary school. But, it is a little difficult for the young students to learn how to make program. In this paper, we suggest a programming education curriculum with Scratch Language and educational contents for the elementary student.

  • This research is about the development of RFID education system which is designed for experience use to understand concepts and characteristics of RFID not in the industry but in the education field. We implemented the RFID education system on the basis of the design which is focused to induce the participation and interests of trainees. We applied technologies such as RFID tag reader, database, image processing, visual program and web program for this system. Also, we applied the system in the education field and checked an education quality from trainees. Thus, we expect that this study is a framework of RFID education system and is used widely for basic education of understanding and utilization of RFID in the educational institutions and industries.

  • The convergence of ICT and cloud computing is treated as a main issue all over the fields including education. This development leads to change from e-learning to u-learning and smart education. Therefore, we need to study in term of the systematic and a long-term viewpoint how smart education environment have an influence on the practical space. And we need a concrete study for smart education space based on property of space. Under these critical mind, this study understands the smart education space in terms of the convergence of computing space and physical space. As a Result, smart education space have major property such as flexibility, communication, polyvalence.

  • With the advent of convergence environment of broadcasting and communication, IPTV has been widely used. It provides services such as information, movie contents and broadcasting with TV through super-highway information networks. The purpose of this study is to suggest its educational applications to overcome the limits existing in the education. For this goal, we sought its concept and characteristic and drew educational implications by analyzing its contents. We also suggested what-if scenarios for its educational applications, considered its possibilities in educational applications and suggested the kinds of teaching-learning utilizing it and its educational applications for the various subjects. Finally, we examined problems which were considered before its applications in the education with the classification of legal, technical and educational problems.
