박성현, 김재주 교수님이 공업통계의 교육현황과 1990년도 여름에 공업진흥청에서 전국 KS 및 등급업체를 대상으로 실시한 "품질 실태조사"의 결과를 근거로 한 공업통계 사용의 실태조사와 이에 따른 공업통계의 문제점의 지적과 그 활성화 방안 등을 비교적 소상하게 제시하셨습니다. 제시한 6가지 활성화 방안에 대체로 동감하며 저의 견해를 다음과 같이 추가합니다. 첫째로, 기술자들이 불확실성의 법칙을 이해해야 합니다. 둘째로, 박성현, 김재주 교수님이 제안하신 산학공동체제의 필요성에 부연하여, 통계학회와 공업의 다른 분야의 학회, 예를 들면 전자,전산공학회, 화학공학회, 토목공학회 등과의 교류도 중요하다고 생각합니다.하다고 생각합니다.

현재 버스 노선을 조사할 때 사용하는 방법은 특정 날짜에 조사원이 직접 버스에 탑승하여 조사하는 방법을 쓴다. 이 방법을 개선하고자 버스 출입구에 카메라를 설치하여 탑승자의 얼굴을 인식하고 인식한 얼굴들을 매칭 하는 방법으로 통계조사를 한다. 이러한 방법을 통해 버스 노선을 조사할 때 드는 비용과 시간을 절약하여 효율적으로 사용한다.

Based upon the Labor Demand Survey and the Survey on Wage Structure being conducted annually by the Ministry of Labor, we suggest a convenient statistical tool which can analyze and appraise the effect of introducing a new survey method. Since both surveys have in common very similar sampling frames and sampling schemes in structure, one can measure the variability of one survey on the basis of the other. The influence appraisal method adopted here is applied to ratio data between two independent estimates belonging to the identical category by year and has a statistical form of comparing ratio data before introducing a new survey with those after introducing a new survey.

수산물 비계통 생산량 조사는 수산물 생산량 조사 중 어가부분에서 비계통 출하된 양에 대한 표본조사이다. 본연구는 1995년 어업 총조사 자료에 근거하여 새로운 표본 설계를 제안하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 표본은 층화 2단 집락 추출방식에 의해 추출되었으며 층화변수로는 어업조사구 내의 일반어류 어가 비율을 사용하였다.

Today, the statistical survey has been carried out variously for the decision-making and administration of the organization. We use the different items in the statistical survey according to the purpose of study. Currently, Gyeongnam province is executing the social index survey to the provincials every year. But, this survey has the limit of the analysis as execution of the different survey per 3 year cycles. The solution for this problem is data fusion technique. Data fusion is generally defined as the use of techniques that collect to combine data including multiple sources in order to raise the quality of information. But, data fusion doesn't mean the ultimate result. Therefor, efficient analysis for the fused data is also important. In this study, we suggest the application methodology of neural network by latent variable through the fused data in statistical survey.

통계자료는 국가의 정책을 수립하는데 가장 기초가 되는 자료로서 국가 경영에 필수적인 인프라에 해당하며, 국가정책 수립의 근거자료로 활용하기 위해서는 생산되는 통계자료의 신뢰성이 담보되어야 한다. 신뢰성은 생산되는 통계자료의 정확성을 가장 기본으로 하며, 더 나아가서는 시기적절하게 통계자료를 생산하고 수요자 중심의 통계지표를 발굴 제시했을 때 통계자료로서 의미를 갖게 된다고 할 수 있다. 본 연구는 통계자료가 갖는 의미에 맞고 효과적인 통계자료를 생산하기 위하여 현재 발간중인 한국수문조사연보의 통계량과 산정기준, 적용성 및 활용방안에 대한 종합적인 검토를 통해 표준화된 통계처리 기준을 제시하고자 한다. 이를 위해 강수량과 수위, 유량측정성과 및 유량자료 통계량 44종에 대한 통계량별 결측치 처리기준과 활용성 및 결측치 처리방안에 대하여 검토로 통계값의 일관성 및 객관성이 확보될 수 있도록 개선방안을 마련하였다. 더불어 자연현상에 대한 명확한 해석이 가능하고, 기후변화에 따른 기왕의 극치자료와 비교검토가 용이하도록 통계량 표 개선과 이동시간 기준 최다강수량 등 신규 통계값에 대한 산정기준 방안을 제안하였다. 본 연구의 결과로 제시한 신규 통계량 정보를 추가적으로 제시하고, 표준화된 통계처리 기준에 따라 통계값을 산정할 경우 통계 자료의 일관성 및 객관성이 확보될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

지난 97년도를 기억하는 가. 그해 연말은 사상 초유의 IMF 부채국으로의 전락이라는 오욕과 뼈를 깎는 불황의 전주곡을 울렸던 해였기는 했지만, 아이러니컬하게도 자판기 산업은 사장 최대의 실적을 기록한 해다. 그러나 다음해인 98년부터 2000년까지는 시장성은 급락 직하하는 마이너스 성장기를 맞는다. 고도성장을 해 나가야 할 자판기 산업에 오히려 브레이크가 걸렸고, 지난 3년간의 통계조사 속에는 그러한 산업의 좌절과 아픔이 깊게 베어 있다. 하지만 산업계는 금번 2001년도 통계조사 분석 결과를 반갑게 받아들일 수 있게 됐다. 산업계는 온갖 어려움을 극복하고 마침내 산업 성장을 견인해 낸 것. 금호 기획특집에서는 성장세를 견인한 2001년 자판기 산업의 모든 것을 통계분석을 통해 대해부하는 시간을 마련했다

표본조사 교육의 효과적인 학습을 위하여 최근 많은 연구가 진행되고 있는 하이퍼미디어 시스템과 전문가 시스템의 특성을 적절히 결합하여 표본조사에 대한 교육과 응용분야에서 활용할 수 있는 표본조사론의 학습 및 실습을 위한 하이퍼미디어 전문가시스템의 개발을 시도해 보았다. 본 논문에서 구현한 하이퍼미디어 시스템은 멀티미디어 툴과 통계패키지를 결합한 시스템으로써 표본조사에 관한 전문적인 지식이 없고 통계 패키지의 사용에 익숙하지 않는 비전문가들에게 표본조사방법론에 대한 이론 학습 및 실습을 통하여 표본추출과정, 모수 추정, 표본크기의 결정 등 표본조사론 교육을 체계적이고 효과적으로 습득하게 해줄 뿐 아니라 실제 표본 조사된 자료로부터 실시간으로 모수를 추정할 수 있도록 해 주기 때문에 각종 표본조사에 보다 쉽게 활용할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

This study was to propose an improvement direction in statistical indicators of public libraries to collect objective data from such libraries. This improvement direction was made by deriving from countable factors at the library. These were selected from various parts of the library sectors, such as the library-related laws, public library standard of our country, and statistical indicators of IFLA and other major countries. Also The these statistical indicator was compared to the current statistical indicator of public library in Korea. The results will be able to develop new draft of statistical indicator, which can be used in understanding the present situation of public libraries.
