The Effects of Group Composition on the Discussion in Web-Based Online Discussion (웹기반 온라인 토론에서 집단구성방식이 토론에 미치는 영향)

  • In this paper, we investigate the effects of group composition according to the personality type of learner on the content of discussion in web-based synchronous online discussion. The experiment for this study was conducted with high school students. First, we conducted the MBTI(Myers Briggs Type Indicator) test and based upon the result, we classified learners into 3 groups; introverts group, extroverts group, and introverts/extroverts mixed group. After the online discussion, the content of discussion were analyzed by the units of meaning, based on the four dimensions which were proposed in the 'content analysis model' by Henri(l992). Among four dimensions, 'social' and 'interactive' dimension belonged to category of inter-dependence, and 'cognitive' and 'metacognitive' dimension belonged to category of subject-relevance. The introverts/extroverts mixed group, which was heterogeneously composed, had the most positive effects on the total numbers of the units of meaning, the inter-dependence, and the subject-relevance of the contents of discussion.

  • 본 연구는 e러닝 환경에서 웹 기반 학습자간 상호작용 학습증진을 위한 스터디 그룹 활동지원시스템 개발을 위한 실질적 사례를 제시하는 데 있다. e러닝 환경 웹 기반학습의 단점을 보완하기 위하여 함께 학습이 가능하도록 제안되었고, 학습자들간의 상호작용을 증진시킬 수 있는 자료실 정보교환, 화상토론, 동영상강좌 동시 시청 가능도 설계되었다. 대학생 254명 대상 49개 그룹으로 학습자간의 상호작용을 통한 학습만족도를 조사하고 그 결과를 분석 해보았다. 또한 협동학습을 통한 스터디 그룹 활동은 개인별 상호작용 활동지수로 나타내어 학습만족도와의 상관관계를 증가시킬 수 있는 하나의 온라인 학습 커뮤니티 모형을 제시함으로서 e러닝 사이트나 학습 시스템을 설자하고 구현하는데 참고가 될 수 있으리라 기대한다.

  • In this paper, We designed and implemented a web based PBL system for ICT training. We surveyed special qualities and a learning model which have been researched for web based PBL system. According to the result of preceding research, we designed a web based PBL system consisted of teaming guidance, learning subject, collaboration learning, loaming result, help center, bulletin board. Also, We applied the web based PBL system to beginner. According to the result of this application, it was found that the students had more interest in learning and utilization of the system when using the web based PBL system. And the web based PBL system was very useful in setting up a problem-solving plan and a ICT learning plan.

  • IT를 기반으로 한 플립러닝(Flipped Learning-온라인으로 선행학습을 한 뒤에 오프라인 수업을 통해 교사와 학생이 토론식으로 진행하는 수업방식) 학습법은 교수자가 아닌 학습자의 요구에 적극 부응할 수 있는 제도이다. 전공 수업뿐만 아니라 교양 수업에도 이에 대한 적극적인 도입이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 대학 글쓰기 수업에 있어서 플립러닝 학습법을 적용한 사례를 통해 이를 입증하고자 하였다.

  • 본 연구 에서는 웹 기반 협동학습 시스템을 활용 할 경우 주관적 규범과 상호작용이 적용된 TAM모형이 필요함을 제시하고 이를 실증 분석하였다. 주관적 규범은 기술수용을 결정짓는 개인의 신념 요소인 유용성과 사용의도에 강한 긍정적 의향을 갖게 하는 변수이고, 준거집단을 통해서 행동이나 인지에 영향을 줄 수 있는 변수이다. 팀장은 팀원 및 학습자들과 의 상호작용( 협동학습을 통한 화상토론, 게시판정활동, 오프라인 정기 모임, 동영상 동시 시청)과 팀원 관리 및 운영하는 역할이기 때문에 준거집단의 준 거인이 될 수 있다. 따라서, 새로운 정보 기술 및 시스템 수용에 관한 시스템 사용 권유를 하거나, 직접 기술사용을 하는 행동은 협동합습에 참여한 학습자들에게 조금이나마 영향을 줄 수 있음을 추측 해 볼 수 있고 영향력 있는 외부변수로 가설 검증해보았다. 외부변수로서의 주관적 규범과 상호작용은 지각된 사용용이성을 제외하고 TAM의 신념 요소인 유용성, 흥미성과 사용의도에 강한 영향력을 보였다. 또한 사용의도와 유의한 관계가 있는 사용도 측정을 2가지 방법(인지적과 객관적 측도)으로 측정하였으며, 상관관계가 유의함을 함께 제시 했다.

  • In this paper, we investigate a problem with Web-based learing contents and introduce the solving method of the problem. To be more accurate, existing Web-based learning contents were one fixd and uniformed courseware file with a large size and HTML format. Also, They were written files with authoring tools of which depended upon providing a multimedia vender. These learning contents were difficult to reuse among cyber education systems and change the applicable contents to the learner for learning experiences in time. So in this paper, we produced reusable and interopreable learning contents among instruction designers and education systems. They were deconstructed into smaller chunks and added to its properties. For the purpose of this producing method, we used the pedagogical designs for units of reuse. These are just turorial link-more and tell-more and was implemented with CBD method. As a result, The problem of existing Web-based learning contents system was resolved and then the power of understanding about objectified learning content was increased for the learner and instruction designers.

A Study on the Development of Collaborative Learning Model and Behavioral Elements in e-Learning Environment (e-Learning 환경에서의 협력학습을 위한 학습모형 및 학습행위요소 개발)

  • This study intends to present essential models for collaborative learning in e-learning environment as well as to analyze learning behavior elements appearing in collaborative learning activities. In order to achieve goal of the study, the researchers analyzed existing cooperative learning models for face-to-face classroom, collaborative activity models based on instructional theory, and the structures and activities elements of learning community and collaborative activity models focusing on e-learning environment. As a result of the study, the researchers produced a generalizable collaborative learning model for e-learning which include general collaborative learning model, and further analyzed specific learning behaviors performed by learners while they proceed in this model based learning processes. The adequacy of this model and reliability of learning behavior elements were tested through experts' review meetings. The research result, suggesting generalizable collaborative learning model as well as learning behaviors elements which might occur within e-learning based collaborative learning, might work as a foundational model for software infrastructure and e-learning solution business. Moreover, its value might be maximized if its being used for enhancing learning content interoperability and reuse as well as for establishing international standardization for collaborative technology.

  • 오늘날과 같은 정보사회와 지식기반 사회에서는 웹기반교육(WBI:Web-Based Instruction)은 학교 교육에 좀 더 나은 학습효과, 신속 제공성, 시공을 초월한 편의성, 저비용 등의 가능성을 제공하고 있다. 따라서 텍스트 위주의 종례의 초등학교 역사 교육에서 탈피하여 역사 관련 정보 공유, 웹토론을 통한 의사교환 등을 초등학교 역사 교육에 적용 분석해 보고자 하였다. 이 논문에서는 웹기반교육의 개념과 유형, 특징을 살펴보고 웹의 장점을 최대한 살린 웹기반 역사 학습 시스템을 설계하고 구축해 보았다. 또한 시스템을 적용 분석하여 향후 웹기반 역사 교육 시스템 구성의 방향을 제시해 보았다.

  • With progress of informationalization, education has been transformed from traditional uni-direction education to bi-directional and consumer-oriented education, which is performed by learner's self study and interactive education of multiple dimension between a learner and contents, between a learner and a teacher, and between a learner and a learner irrespective of space-time. According to this trend, a new education method has been required. Therefore, in this paper, we will propose real-time consumer-oriented distance education system of making interaction maximum using WBI. In this system, a learner can participate in an individual study case by multiple interaction with a learner's designing and plaining study, and also participate in group study case by way of discussion and conversation among participants.

  • As e-learning is recognized in new education form, Learning Management System that manage general activity of learning to maximize effect of education is being developed actively. Usually, Learning Management System includes course registration and learning as well as learner's learning recording and tracking, evaluation in online. But, most systems is lacking a tool that learners can collaborate with companion learners, and planning learning and set valuation basis as leading. In this paper, we can expect effective collaborative learning activities because can make debate and team project smooth by suggesting collaborative learning module that can drive voluntary participation such as group formation, learning plan, mutually estimation as leading to learner in Learning Management System of blended learning base that support online and offline environment both.
