This study came up a library thought and the theory of cataloging through analyzing the life and writings of Seymour Lubetzky who founded the principals of cataloging in the twentieth century. This study investigated the historical social, ideological, and cultural context, using a literature survey and the methodology of historical research. Moreover, this study aimed a comprehensive research based on the results of domestic and foreign fragmentary studies, and analyzed the effects of Lubetzky's thought of cataloging. Thus, this study found Lubetzky's library and cataloging thought. The theory of cataloging that analyzes the above findings is the design of cataloging rules and a bibliographical relationship establishment. First of all, the principles of descriptive cataloging should contain the necessity, simplicity, unity, consistency, finality, and the characteristics of interrelations, and clarify the purpose of cataloging. The bibliographical relationship is built on dividing a work as an intellectual product into a book as a physical substance. Moreover, a basic entry is entered on the basis of author names for planning the concentration of works, and a corporate name and an anonym are contained in the author names for extending the concept of author.

CRESST(the National Center for Research on Evaluation, Standards, and Student Testing at UCLA) is now carrying out the research, which was scheduled for a five year period from 2007 to 2011. This research aimed at testing the effectiveness of the formative assessment program by continuously conducting the program on the target group and steadily applying the recurring feedback, in order to reform the teachers' teaching and to facilitate students' learning. To do this, CRESST has set out to develop the material for 7th graders since January 2007, and KICE(Korea Institute of Curriculum and Evaluation) have been running a collaborated research since July 2007, while sharing the instructional materials developed by CRESST. In 2008, the pre-test was conducted prior to this study in 2009. Especially, this paper deals with the Korean 8th graders' scholastic achievements in algebra domain measured by PowerSource(c). In addition, this study would examine the responses of teachers and students on its application.

The purpose of the study is to find out a development direction of planning element for smart green multi complexes through suggestion and evaluation focused on carbon mitigation and adaptation. For the research, the concept and characteristics are reviewed as a theoretical study and planning elements are surveyed based on the former research regarding low carbon green growth. The effects of individual planning elements are evaluated focused on its impact, easiness, cost and the development directions based on priority of planning element for smart green multi complexes are suggested. This study will provide the basic frame for the practical ways of the multi complex construction and the systematic formulations of its operation and management focused on smart green.

As oral trial principle and civil participation in criminal trials spread, the environment of Korean courtroom is in need of a systematic introduction of trial presentation which can supplement with the oral trial presentation's weakness. Therefore this study analyzes the definition, types, and effectiveness of trial presentation, considering characters of the Korean court's environment. As for following research step, the most widely used trial presentation softwares in the USA and Korea are analyzed and compared in consideration of the particularity of the trial presentation. Based on this analysis, this study suggested elements to be included in the presentation software optimized for Korean court's environment as follows: 1. Ease of the insertion of various forms and media, 2. Appropriate limitation of the spectrum for graphic style, 3. Ease of use of graphics tools, 4. System functions. Such a suggestion was proposed not only to enhance the clarity, accuracy, effectiveness in developing insistence and delivery of content, but also promote aesthetic quality and consistency of presentation's visual communication aspect.

우리나라의 도시는 리우선언이후 지속가능한 개발 원칙아래 친수와 생태를 모티브로 하여 급격히 변화되어 개발되어 가고 있다. 파주운정신도시는 국내최초 물순환시스템, 광교신도시는 2개의 기존 저류지를 활용한 물순환시스템, 인천청라지구는 녹지공간에 운하를 만드는 운하도시, 김포신도시는 대수로를 활용한 운하도시, 강서지구는 한강과 연결되는 친수도시로 진행중이다. 이러한 개발에는 지속가능한 수량확보와 수질보전이 선결되어야 하므로 다양한 방안들이 제시되고 있으며, 이에 따라 물을 다스릴 수 있는 도시로 변화함에 따라 치수적으로 안전할 뿐 만 아니라, 각종 재난으로 부터도 안전한 U-city로 진행되고 있다. 국외의 경우 미국의 샌안토니오 등이 도시내 운하를 건설하여 관광객을 유치하고 있고, 독일의 크론스베르크가 지구 전체에 우수저류 및 침투시설을 도입하였으며, 일본 동경이 새로운 운하프로젝트를 수행중이다. 또한 홍콩이 세계최대의 습지공원을 신도시와 병행하여 건설하였고, 싱가폴에서는 아시아 최대의 담수화 공장을 건설중이며, 뉴워터(Newater) 프로젝트로 물을 재사용하고 있다. 이러한 국내 외 사례가 물순환시스템을 체제를 구축하기 위한 기초자료를 제공할 수 있으리라 판단된다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 물순환시스템의 전체적인 개념을 다양한 선진사례 등을 토대로 검토하고, 현재 진행중인 국내 도시들을 토대로 정리하여, 물순환시스템의 체제를 구축하는 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 본연구를 통해 향후 국내 지자체들의 도시재개발과 신도시개발, 국외 도시개발시 물순환시스템을 구축하는 경우 물순환과 관련된 기초자료로 활용할 수 있으리라 판단된다.

This study was done to identify experience of young adults street homeless aged 20-30s by knowing meaning and structure of empirical phenomena for procedure that how young adults became street homeless according to bio-psycho-social change. Five young adults street homeless were recruited who were on the air of SBS program, 'That why we want to know: young hope on the road-Young adults homeless are increased(Saturday July 26, 2008)', and from monthly magazine published by Homeless Center in Seoul. And phenomenological and heuristic Human Becoming Research Methodology of Parse was applied in this study. Although young adults street homeless made an opportunity for job, the working poor made him street homeless who suffer from social stigma and exclusion, but he struggled for self-support with social care. The quality of life for young adult street homeless depends on the social care under human rights with the bio-psycho-social aspects.

To figure out the cause of underestimating the roughness and shear strength of rock joints suggested by numerous researchers, we analyzed roughness mobilization characteristics, characteristics of roughness parameters, effects of sampling interval, and waviness for roughness parameters. It was found out that lack of understanding of the roughness mobilization characteristics, inappropriate applications of roughness parameters, and effect of aliasing provide a main reasons for those problems. Several practical alternatives for improving those problems were suggested. As far as digitizing methods are concerned, we can find that using a 3D scanner can give a relatively effective result. To avoid aliasing, sampling interval should be less than one-quarter of the minimum asperities. As for the quantification of roughness, it was analyzed that the roughness parameter should be classified into two components depending on the scale of roughness to apply the shear strength model. For classifying the roughness, a framework of the criterion was suggested based on the plastic flow concept for the asperity failure, and the basis for proposing a new alternative shear strength model was established.

This paper focuses on the idea development as a creative thinking process for design innovation. The process of thinking has the thinking structures of abduction and transformation. After we had studied the design thought, we found a structure of a thinking system, and created a creative thinking model with this. Using job analysis, we examined the duster of design jobs, which form the design process, and verified the thinking model. The findings suggest that our idea development has the creative process not only of divergent thinking and convergent one, but also of transformation in design. In same time, the design thinking shows their pattern of transition from abstract concept to concrete object. Between the design jobs, idea development shows higher difficulty than other jobs - marketing, product planning and follow-up. Combining the D-T-C (Divergent-Transformation-Convergent) thinking with abstract-concrete thinking, we designed a DFD(data flow diagram) for an early model of computer mediated thinking system (CMTS). This has implications for design support.

In this study, we carried out a case study with 38 pre-service mathematics teachers. A theoretical basis of this study is the 'technology principle' by NCTM(2000) and teaching-learning methods by the 7th curriculum. Using mathematics program(Grafeq.), we executed classroom activities for developing materials assisting teaching-teaming for 7th-9th grade mathematics. Pre-service mathematics teachers constructed mathematical designs for each grade by Grafeq. program. We tried to find the results for three research problems. On the basis of observation data, interview data and document materials, we analysed our results as follows. First, our activities help Pre-service mathematics teachers to examine and understand each grade mathematics. Second, we can developamathematicaldesignineachgrade mathematics. Therefore mathematical designs developed in this study can be used middle school mathematics classroom. Third, pre-service mathematics teachers gained the belief that the activities using mathematical in this study can be applied program. effectively to teaching and loaming school mathematics.

VR and AR technologies are recognized as one of important technologies during 4th Industrial Revolution Era. Also, the market size of VR/AR are anticipated to grow up to $150 billion by 2020. These technologies are used in theme parks as well as in other industries including games and films. The purpose of this study is to recognize the trend of VR/AR application in theme park attractions and recommend optimal ways for the future applications. The trends were studied from number of publications while future model was developed after visiting theme parks and interviewing the industry experts. As a result, number of theme parks and LBCs(Location Based Center) are using VR/AR in many of their attractions already, but still holds a number of issues. These issues could be overcome if Fun, Efficiency and Technology are considered holistic ways in the future. Further, conformity of the technologies and theme park concept should also be examined.
