그리드 VO(Virtual Organization)는 내부 규정과 정책의 집합에 의하여 제어되는 기존의 VO 개념에서 벗어나 임시적, 동적 기반의 자원 공유와 협업을 하기 위해 개인 또는 기관, 시스템 자원이 모인 임시적인 VO이다. 이것은 개인 또는 기관, 시스템 자원들이 동시에 몇 개의 VO의 일원이 되는 경우나 변화하는 시스템 자원의 상황에 따라 VO 구성을 위한 결합, 형성된 그리드 VO에 대한 인증에서 많은 문제가 발생하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 그리드 VO 구성에서 발생할 수 있는 보안 문제 중 자원에 대한 인증과 관련된 문제를 해결하고자 XML 정보보호기술을 토대로 경량화된 그리드 VO에 대한 자원 인증 시스템을 제안하였다.

본 연구는 베이징 마이크로 위안어를 대상으로 하여 커뮤니티 디자인의 개념, 구성요소 등에 대해 파악 하였다. 그리고, 이론적 고찰을 통해 도출된 주민참여, 자치, 자원활용, 네트워크, 지속성 다섯 가지 요소를 통해 마이크로 위안어의 커뮤니티 디자인을 구체적으로 분석하였다. 이에 따라 마이크로 위안어의 건축재생과 커뮤니티 디자인에 대한 분석을 토대로 베이징 구시가지의 지역활성화 발전을 위한 방향을 제시하고자 한다.

인터넷의 발달과 더불어 멀티미디어에 대한 유통과 불법복제, 그리고 이에 따른 저작권보호운동이 활발히 진행되고 있다. 이 논문에서는 이러한 multimedia 저작권 보호를 지 원해주는 가장 일반적인 기법중에 하나인 watermarking 기법을 포괄적으로 포함하는 data hiding 기법의 일반적인 특징에 대해 논하고, 이 기법이 갖는 중요한 특성중에 하나인 embedding data의 종류와 양를 활용하여 multimedia processing에 적용하는 새로운 사례를 보여주며, 이를 토대로 스스로 생각할 수 있는 지능을 가진 intelligent smart video의 개념에 대해 토의한다.

This paper deals with usability issue that is one of the important user interface issues in multimedia environment. The purpose of this study is to define the concept of affordance in multimedia environment, which is adapted from product design fields and to seek development plan of more efficient interface and assurance interaction with interface. As a result, it is useful that the concept of affordance in multimedia design is applied as a 'useful clue for performing task.' Furthermore, it is possible that the concept of affordance is used as one of the improving methods of usability for users in multimedia environment.

Recently, instead of technical cyber operations that directly attack the target information system by using cyber attack techniques, social engineering techniques that indirectly invade the system by exploiting the vulnerabilities of persons who manage the system are being watched. Despite this trend, there is a lot of confusion because there is no clear concept about the relationship between cyber operations and social engineering techniques. Therefore, this paper aims at establishing a clear concept of a social engineering cyber operation, helping future researchers in this literature.

The effects of information technology on people and society, while being profusely laid out in academic and popular literature, are largely anecdotal, fragmented, and speculative, not adding up to a consistent theory of IT impact. This is attributed to a lack of a proper research model that guides and integrates the research. This paper examines several dimensions of the IT impact research that characterize and distinguish the research and develops a conceptual model of the IT impact research. Three dimensions are examined - the search domain, the concept of organization, and the level of analysis. The dimensions are combined to produce several conceptual domains, each with differing issues and characteristics for research, that constitute the IT impact research. A model of the IT impact research is developed which proposes a series of transition among the search domains. At the end, the implications of the research model are discussed.

The Purpose of this study is to analyze telecommunications impacts on travel in a comprehensive system, considering demand, supply, costs, and land use. This study first Presents a conceptual model, considering causal relationships among travel, telecommunications, land use, economic activity, and socio-demographics. Then, based on the conceptual model, the aggregate causal relationships between telecommunications (local telephone calls, toll calls, and mobile phone subscribers) and travel (vehicle-miles traveled and number of transit Passengers) are explored in a comprehensive framework, using structural equation modeling of national time series data spanning 1950-2000 in the U.S. The model results suggest that as telecommunications demand increases, travel demand increases, and vice versa. Additionally. transportation infrastructure and land use significantly affect travel demand.

The purpose of this study is to explore a teaching method of limits of functions with more intuitive and visual of CAS graphing calculators rather than with the rigorous ${\epsilon}-{\delta}$ method. Texas Instruments Voyage200 CAS graphing calculators are used for studying the possibility of the use of technology in calculus course. For this, various related theoretical constructs are reviewed: concept image, concept definition, cognitive conflict, the use of visualization of technology for calculus concepts, the theory of APOS, and local straightness. Based on such theoretical constructs this study suggests a teaching method of limits of functions with embodied visualization of CAS graphing calculators.

Although MARC can define the detail cataloguing data, it has complex structures and frameworks to represent bibliographic information. On account of these idiosyncratic features of MARC, XML DTD or RDF/S that supports simple hierarchy of conceptual vocabularies cannot capture MARC formalism effectively. This study implements bibliographic ontology by means of abstracting conceptual relationships between bibliographic vocabularies of MARC. The bibliographic ontology is formalized with OWL that can represent the logical relations between conceptual elements and specify cardinality and property value restrictions. The bibliographic ontology in this study will provide metadata for cataloguing data and resolve compatibility problems between cataloguing systems. And it can also contribute the development of next generation bibliographic information system using semantic Web services.

The purposes of this research are to search and analyze information theories which are useful to approach bibliotherapy in terms of 'therapeutic' readers' advisory service, and to propose a conceptual model of 'therapeutic' readers' advisory service on the basis of such theoretical foundations. To the end, Dervin's sense-making theory and Kuhlthau's ISP model are introduced and applied to the conceptual model. The conceptual model is profoundly based on Dervin's situation-gap-use metaphor and Kuhlthau's Uncertainty Principle.
