Traditional records information system has greatly improved accessibility to users by providing internet access to the digitized form of traditional records, access to which have previously been restricted for the purpose of preservation. This study investigated the accessibility and serviceability of Korean traditional records by examining current traditional record information systems in Korea. After compiling a list of traditional records information systems, which were grouped by operating agency, we analyzed them by coverage period, document type, and content format as well as examining search options and browse categories. We also categorized and examined the information systems by user type. The result showed that out of 105 traditional records information systems serving various content types and services, only a fraction(16.1%) provide a comprehensive information that includes bibliographic information, annotated description, content image, content text, and translated text, and less than a half(49.5%) provide a detailed search, all of which point to a less than optimal conditions for access to traditional records and suggest a strong need for improved traditional records information systems in Korea.

Purpose of the study is to explore the effect of the types of mobile coupons(text- vs. image-focused coupons; free-gift vs. discount coupons) on characteristic perception of mobile coupons, and the causal relationships among characteristic perception, attitude, and use intention of mobile coupons. A total of 140 university students participated in experiments with questionnaires including one of the four stimuli. Important findings are as follows. First, image-focused mobile coupons generated more enjoyment than did text-focused coupons. However, the text/image-focused coupons were not different in perception of informativeness and credibility of mobile coupons. Second, enjoyment perception was significantly increased when image-focused contents were combined with discount coupons whereas enjoyment perception was decreased when text-focused contents were combined with free-gift coupons. This interaction effect reflects that the level of enjoyment of consumers can be changed in terms of the combination of the value-provision types of coupons and the text-image focused contents. Third, it was found that consumer perception of coupon characteristics formed attitudes toward mobile coupons, and use intention of mobile coupons was determined by attitudes toward mobile coupons. Study findings may fill the void of research investigating the effect of text-image contents and the types of coupons on consumer reponses toward mobile coupons. Mobile coupons have limited quantity of information within a small size of mobile phone screen, therefore, the results were not consistent with prior research tested with mobile advertisements indicating the effect of text-image contents on perception of informativeness and credibility.

In the homepage of 16 municipal provincial office of education, school information service displays text-based results through search step or presents the simple information of the selected area when an area is clicked on the static image map. And it has several problems such as server load and slow transfer speed by the search of the synchronous transfer. Thus, in this study, we used the open API of Google map to provide location-based school information and implemented the mash up service for school information with the Ajax program of asynchronous transfer to reduce server load and to increase transmission speed. This service gives the efficiency and convenience to students, teachers, parents and education family members of various levels because it includes the location with school information on a dynamic map.

According to the development of information processing technology and computer hardware, PACS systems have been installed in many hospitals. They can increase the efficiency and the convenience remarkably for handling medical images using digitalized data. After we compare the generation images with other cases, we can read the images correctly and decide how to treat the patients. If the results, included test method and specialist's opinion, are represented dynamically on homepage in hospital. then visitors can get their experience in directly and understand the field of examination and the area of medical treatment. In this thesis, we display the effective images such as MR of the abnormal cases according to parts and diseases, the movie and still images such as Angio image, the other multimedia materials such as the sound and text of doctor's opinions, in SMIL based on XML, concerning the problem of concurrency.

Currently, most web designers guarante high quality using bitmap graphics as fixed font size, but that has defects about file size and flexibility. Especially, to provide high quality of banner and advertise characters, after you should use a bitmap edit program, and then we should follow the method we add that program to HTML documents as bitmap data. In this study, as I show a couple of new tags in front of HTML documents, I show methods which can be presented diverse effects. When text information are stored, because we print out a screen with simple control points and outside information, it can be possible for us to express the same quality of Hangul characters like printed documents in a web browser. Regardless of the second class of platform, we can make it possible the character expression with exact character expressions and diverse effects.

Feature selection, one of data preprocessing techniques, is one of major research areas in many applications dealing with large dataset. It has been used in pattern recognition, machine learning and data mining, and is now widely applied in a variety of fields such as text classification, image retrieval, intrusion detection and genome analysis. The proposed method is based on a genetic algorithm which is one of meta-heuristic algorithms. There are two methods of finding feature subsets: a filter method and a wrapper method. In this study, we use a wrapper method, which evaluates feature subsets using a real classifier, to find an optimal feature subset. The training dataset used in the experiment has a severe class imbalance and it is difficult to improve classification performance for rare classes. After preprocessing the training dataset with SMOTE, we select features and evaluate them with various machine learning algorithms.

This research paper is applying Family Tree with Story Authoring System on the previous research study about writing tool data model on interactive storytelling about family history. In this study, primary personal information holding identity of the person such as name, birthday and family tree, given at birth, was categorized into secondary function defined as "family contents" consisting of family achievements, episodes and experiences. Family contents was restructured to be used as creative ingredients to increase the value and usage of family contents...Family Tree with Story writing system enables users to create text, images, videos and digital contents based on experimental knowledge collected from the first and second generations.

The Contents and Scopes of Study Development are as follows. There are input of text, image and moving image data for traffic safety education, establishment of hierarchical relation for traffic safety education, relation analysis between traffic safety education information and design of hyper link structure between them, thesaurus implementation for traffic safety education system, design and implementation of information retrieval engine based on thesaurus, design and implementation of database schema for traffic safety education and GUI implementation for user.

This paper proposes the Global Clipboard System and presents a preliminary study on it. The clipboard is a temporary storage used to copy and paste some contents between application programs in Windows Operating System. The proposed Global Clipboard is a contents delivery system that extends the concept of the existing local clipboard to Internet. The Global Clipboard System operates in two steps. An application user can upload selected contents to the Global Clipboard by typing consecutive keys of Ctrl-C and Ctrl-Shift-C easily. And other users can download and utilize the contents from the Global Clipboard by typing Ctrl-Shift-V and Ctrl-V keys consecutively. The proposed Global Clipboard can deal almost data like simple texts, screen capture images, files, and directories. In this paper, we developed a global clipboard server, a Windows application, and an Android application. We have conducted experiments about functions of the Global Clipboard and also compared delay times between 4 applications such as e-mail, Kakao, Google Drive, and the Global Clipboard. The results of the evaluation show that the time delay spending in sending and receiving contents is shortest when the Global Clipboard is used.

The cyber lecture, which uses the computer system and its networking, has the benefit of learning anytime and anywhere and quick feedback with positive learning system. Now the research on the cyber lecture is actively performed. But most of researches focus on the problems of operational status of cyber colleges, example study and activation study. So there aren't many researches that reflect the requirements of students who are the main force of the learning system. This research asked 145 students from 20 colleges about the cyber lectures and analyzed their requirements. Then it applied then to the cyber lectures and studied its effect. <중략> It removed the factors of these complaints and established a way of improvement to apply it to a new cyber lecture. Then it found the total average for the learning achievement improved by 17.3. It showed high learning achievement. The result of the achievement shows that the teaching design is necessary with the viewpoint of the students as well as the viewpoint of the teachers.
