  • As hardware performance rises, game users demand higher computer graphic, more convenient UI(User Interface), faster network, and smarter AI(Artificial Intelligence). At this time, however, AI development is accomplished by a co-development team or only one developer. For that reason, it's hard to verify that AI performance and basic game AI technology is lacking for developing high-level AI. Searching the merits and demerits of existing game AI platforms, we investigate main points to consider when designing game AI platforms in this paper. From this we suggest Darwin, a game platform, based on agent that developers embody AI easily and capable of proposing AI test with module that makes them find strategic position. And then evaluate achievement results through making agent used strategic module that Darwin offers.

One-stop Platform for Verification of ICT-based environmental monitoring sensor data (ICT 기반 환경모니터링 센서 데이터 검증을 위한 원스탑 플랫폼)

  • Existing environmental measuring devices mainly focus on electromagnetic wave and eco-friendly product certification and durability test, and sensor reliability verification and verification of measurement data are conducted mainly through sensor performance evaluation through type approval and registration, acceptance test, initial calibration, and periodic test. This platform has established an ICT-based environmental monitoring sensor reliability verification system that supports not only performance evaluation for each target sensor, but also a verification system for sensor data reliability. A sensor board to collect sensor data for environmental information was produced, and a sensor and data reliability evaluation and verification service system was standardized. In addition, to evaluate and verify the reliability of sensor data based on ICT, a sensor data platform monitoring prototype using LoRa communication was produced, and the test was conducted in smart cities. To analyze the data received through the system, an optimization algorithm was developed using machine learning. Through this, a sensor big data analysis system is established for reliability verification, and the foundation for an integrated evaluation and verification system is provide.

Service Application Implementation using WAVE/DSRC Development Platform (WAVE/DSRC 개발 플랫폼을 이용한 서비스 어플리케이션 구현)

  • The DSRC method currently in use has a limitation in providing various ITS services by short-distance wireless communication. Therefore, the WAVE/DSRC hybrid wireless platform, which was developed by applying WAVE technology in-house, improved the data transmission speed and greatly expanded the transmission range. The summary H/W and S/W technologies are summarized in the text. In this paper, various services such as BSM, SPAT, MAP, and road video information related to ITS services have been implemented, and various tests are conducted based on scenarios considering the environment in the actual field by utilizing the previously developed WAVE/DSRC composite wireless platform. Through this emulation process in the real field, we were able to verify the excellence of the WAVE/DSRC composite wireless platform once again and predict the usefulness and potential of development services in real field operations.

  • The web-based crowdfunding platform provides small-cap companies the opportunity to reduce financial risks and to reliably produce new products through pre-orders. Meanwhile, crowdfunding projects are also helping companies as a channel to test new products before mass production. Despite these advantages, from the point of view of businesses and consumers, it is true that web-based crowdfunding platforms have limitations in the retail environment. For example, the limited social elements of a web-based platform are somewhat in conflict with the basic characteristics of crowdfunding projects - which inevitably demand high social influences for the success. As such, understanding the mechanisms of social factors of crowdfunding platforms from the consumers' perspective is important. Therefore, in this study, we empirically tested the effect of social factors of crowdfunding platform on consumer participation and evaluation. Based on the Social Influence Theory and Social Presence Theory, we developed a conceptual framework where the social group size and social presence of other backers were the independent variables and the purchaser's intention to participate as the dependent variable. In the results, the size of the social group size and the perceived social presence have a significant positive effect on purchaser's participation intent. In addition, the social presence had a greater influence on the purchaser's intention to participate than the size of the sponsor's social group. We believe that our findings contribute to the extant literature by empirically demonstrating the valid effect of social factors of crowdfunding platforms on consumer evaluations.

IPTV testbed based on FTTH network (광가입자망 기반 IPTV 테스트베드)

  • The broadband access network is a worldwide trend and the related IPTV service is booming. However, the IPTV deployment has been delayed in Korea because of the business relationship between the communication and broadcasting area and the lack of the related laws. As a means to the development of FTTH-based high-quality service platform and next-generation equipment, ETRI has been building own FTTH service center with a network operation center and IPTV service equipments, also connecting it with commercial FTTH infrastructures made by network operators. In this paper, we describe the related technologies about FTTH-based IPTV testbed.

  • In this paper, we design a future mobile camera standard interface based on the MIPI CSI-2 and D-PHY specification. The proposed CSI-2 have the efficient multi-lane management layer, which the independent buffer on the each lane are merged into single buffer. This scheme can flexibly manage data on multi lanes though the number of supported lanes are mismatched in a camera processor transmitter and a host processor. The proposed CSI-2 & D-PHY are verified under test bench. We make an experiment on CSI-2 & D-PHY with FPGA type test-bed and implement them onto a mobile handset. The proposed CSI-2 & D-PHY module are used as both the bridge type and the future camera processor IP for SoC.

  • 본 논문에서는 기존의 재난 감시 및 관리 서비스가 사람에 의한 단순 모니터링 기반의 대응을 제공하는 데 비해, 무인기를 활용해 사람의 사각에서 발생하는 재난 상황을 촬영하여 감시 및 분석을 하며, 무인기에 탑재된 다중 복합 센서 데이터의 실시간 처리 분석을 통해 국지적 홍수 재난의 감지 예측 및 상황대응을 지원하고, 통합경보 시스템과 연동하여 대국민 재난 정보 전달 서비스 제공하는 서비스이다. 현재 본 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 Front to End 시스템이 개발 완료되어 실험실 테스트를 진행하였으며, 이와 더불어 실제 필드에서의 재난 감시 및 예측 성능을 검증하기 위한 필드 테스트를 준비 중에 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 현재 구축하고 있는 홍수 재난 관리 스마트아이 플랫폼에 대한 내용을 간단히 소개하고, 중요한 기능중 하나인 무인기 촬영 영상의 기하보정에 대해서 논한다.

스마트그리드에서의 CPS (cyber-physical system) 시뮬레이션 구현을 위한 제반 연구이슈 및 방법론 검토

  • 스마트그리드는 전력시스템과 이를 제어하기 위한 통신 인프라를 중심으로 다양한 시스템이 서로 통합되는 종합적인 플랫폼으로 이해할 수 있다. 기존에 각기 독립적으로 운영되는 시스템과 통신 인프라가 통합되기 시작하면서 다양한 상호작용이 파생되고 그로 인해 잠재적인 보안 측면의 위험성도 커지게 된다. 전통적인 전력시스템은 폐쇄적인 SCADA 네트워크를 기반으로 운영되었기 때문에 최소한의 보안강도가 보장되었지만, 스마트그리드 하에서는 개방형 통신망과 연계되면서, 기존의 사이버 보안 위협들이 전력시스템으로 유입하게 된다. 기존의 IT 시스템과는 달리 전력시스템과 같은 제어시스템은 물리적 작동과 공정이 수반되기 때문에 새로운 위험이 발생하기도 하고 기존의 위험이 증폭되기도 한다. 전력시스템에서는 가용성이 그 무엇보다 중요하기 때문에, 스마트그리드 체제하에서의 다양한 위협요인을 미리 파악하고 이에 대비한 계획을 수립함으로써, 그러한 가용성의 수준을 유지할 필요가 있다. 이를 위해서는 기존의 사이버 위협이 어떠한 경로를 통해 전력시스템에 영향을 미치게 되며 그로 인한 잠재적 위험이 얼마나 되는가를 평가할 필요가 있다. 그러나 스마트그리드는 아직까지 구축중인 미래형 시스템이고 누적된 과거 데이터가 없기 때문에 가상의 하드웨어 기반 테스트베드 내지 소프트웨어 기반의 시뮬레이션 모델을 통해 이를 사전적으로 테스트할 필요가 있다. 또한 스마트그리드는 서로 다른 IT 시스템과 물리적 설비들이 결합되는 복잡한 시스템이라는 측면에서, 잠재적으로 발생 가능한 다양한 위험을 분석하고 평가할 수 있는 모델의 수립이 요구된다. 본고에서는 그러한 CPS 기반 시뮬레이션 모델에 대한 현재의 연구동향을 검토하고, 향후 실질적으로 구현하기 위한 방안을 제안하고자 한다.

A Study on the Gesture Matching Method for the Development of Gesture Contents (체감형 콘텐츠 개발을 위한 연속동작 매칭 방법에 관한 연구)

  • The recording and matching method of pose and gesture based on PC-window platform is introduced in this paper. The method uses the gesture detection camera, Xtion which is for the Windows PC. To develop the method, the API is first developed which processes and compares the depth data, RGB image data, and skeleton data obtained using the camera. The pose matching method which selectively compares only valid joints is developed. For the gesture matching, the recognition method which can differentiate the wrong pose between poses is developed. The tool which records and tests the sample data to extract the specified pose and gesture is developed. 6 different pose and gesture were captured and tested. Pose was recognized 100% and gesture was recognized 99%, so the proposed method was validated.

  • In this paper, for this open system-based virtual resource monitoring system was designed. Virtual resources, CPU, memory, disk, network, each subdivided into parts, each modular implementation. Implementation results in real time CPU, memory, disk, network information, confirmed the results of monitoring. System designed to implement the Windows, Linux, Xen was used for the operating system, implementation language, C++ was used, the structure of the system, such as the ability to upgrade and add scalability and modularity by taking into account the features available in cloud computing environments applicable to cloud computing, virtual resource monitoring system has been implemented.
