우리는 터키를 형제의 나라라고 한다. 터키도 우리나라를 형제의 나라라고 반가워 한다. 멀고도 가까운 나라, 터키는 6.25전쟁이 터지고 유엔에서 파병을 결정했을 때 14,936명이 자원 지원하여 우정의 피를 나눈 국가, 미국을 제외하면 724명의 가장 많은 전사자는 이름도 모르는 극동의 작은 나라를 위해 자원하여 피를 나누었던 혈맹의 국가이다.

터키의 매력은 소소한 일상이 드러나는 도시의 뒷골목에 있다. 나라 전체가 하나의 역사 박물관이라고 해도 손색없는 터키. 거리 곳곳에 숨어 있는 기독교 문화유산과 이슬람 문화유산을 번갈아 바라보면 저절로 묘한 매력에 빠지게 된다.

The surface characteristics of Zachery-treated turquoise stones have been studied in detail with a comparison of natural and plastic-impregnated turquoise. The SEM-EDS analysis exhibited that Zachery-treated turquoise was characterized by the uniform distribution of potassium element through the specimen and did not show the sharp crystalline $SiO_2$ facet and boundary phase which are common in natural ore. The potassium element shown in the Zachery-treated turquoise seemed to be occurred during the treatment process for the improvement of durability. The bar-shaped crystals observed in the pore was found to be a feature of Zachery treated turquoise and are expected to influence on their stability and durability, while the pore sizes in turquoise stones depends on the parameter of the treatment procedure.

Inorganic materials, including gemstones, also have characteristic vibrational energies in the infrared that can be used for identification. For infrared spectroscopy, absorptions associated with the vibrations of the crystal structure (lattice vibrations) are characteristic of the given combination of atoms constituting the gemstone. Natural turquoise $CuAl_6(PO_4)_4\cdot(OH)_8\cdot 5H_2O$ can be distinguished easily from its common substitutes in the infrared range 2000~450$\textrm{cm}^{-1}$ by features in the mid-infrared. Gilson turquoise, which is a synthetic, exhibits a significantly smoother pattern when compared with natural turquoise, because of a different state of aggregation. Also, because the natural turquoise and gibbsite are so different chemically, their patterns are very different. The technique, which is infrared spectroscopy, is nondestructive and, with Fourier transform instrumentation, extremely rapid.

This study comparatively analyzed the cultural codes of Korea and Turkey represented in the Turkish film remaking the Korean original film. Although both films follow the narrative of resisting the tyranny of public power based on fatherly love, similarities and differences were revealed depending on the socio-cultural contexts of Korea and Turkey. First of all, Korea and Turkey valued familialism under the influence of Confucianism and Islam respectively. This was represented as a fatherly love, willing to sacrifice himself for the sake of his daughter. Meanwhile, in the Turkish version, there was a difference in the interpretation of the Islamic identity that encompasses the lives of Turkish people and the consequent human sinfulness and death. In the film, the prisoners repented of their personal sinfulness under Islamic doctrine, and sought salvation by activating the muslim brotherhood. This contrasts with the original work, which uses religion as a humor element that highlights the genre characteristics of comedy films, along with the social atmosphere in Korea that allows for the coexistence of various religions. In addition, Turkish one draws on the realistic issues of the military dictatorship of Turkey in the 1980s and the abolition of the death penalty for EU membership, bringing out a film narrative as a drama genre.

동서양 문명이 만나는 곳, 터키. 두 문명이 서로 융합하면서 발전해 온 터키는 우리나라와는 소중한 인연을 가진 나라다. 멀리는 오랜 옛날 중앙아시아 초원에서 출발한 몽골/돌궐족의 후예로써 한국과 민족적 동질성을 찾아 볼 수 있으며, 1950년 한국전 당시 UN 군의 일환으로 참전하여 1천여 전사자를 포함하여 1만 5천여 전투병력을 파병하여 한국의 자유와 평화를 지키는데 큰 도움을 주었다. 2002년 월드컵 경기에서는 양국간의 오랜 우정을 확인시켜 주었을 뿐 아니라, 특별히 역사적인 3/4위전을 통해서는 전 세계인들에게 진정한 스포츠 정신과 함께 양국 국민들이 왜 서로를 '형제의 나라' 라고 부르는지 그 이유에 대한 답변을 보여 주기도 했다. 그리고 2008년, 유럽과 아시아를 동시에 접근할 수 있는 지리적 이점을 바탕으로 새로운 전략시장으로 떠오르는 터키로 우리 벤처가 전진할 시점이다.

(사)한국포장협회(회장 임경호)가 '2021 터키 이스탄불 포장전시회(Eurasia Packaging Istanbul)'에 참가해 한국관을 운영했다. 10월 20일부터 23일까지 터키 이스탄불 Tuyap Istanbul Fair Convention and Congress Center에서 열린 이번 전시회에는 포장제품, 포장재료, 포장산업을 위한 서비스, 포장디자인서비스, 종이 및 판지 포장 관련 제품 및 기술, 컨버팅기술, 포장기계 및 장비, 포장 재활용기술, 물류서비스 등이 소개됐다. 한국포장협회는 7개사, 7개 부스 규모로 한국관을 마련해 우리나라의 우수한 포장 기술 및 포장재를 유럽시장에 선보였다. 이번 전시회의 한국관 구성에 참여한 (주)서일의 김시범 과장이 '2021 터키 이스탄불 포장전시회(Eurasia Packaging Istanbul)'의 참관기를 작성해주었다. 참관기를 통해 생생한 현장의 소리를 전할 수 있는 기회를 김 과장에게 지면을 빌어 감사의 인사를 전한다.

In our information society, ICT education is becoming basic and fundamental task that many countries are putting emphasis on it, considering it as "the most important step in reformation of education." ICT education have many differences in many countries. Currently, we are considering the suggestions for ICT education in Korea, and through comparative analysis of ICT education in Turkey, a country which has similar economic and cultural conditions, we will provide helpful solutions on ICT education policy for mutual countries. For an objective comparative analysis. we used the PISA 2009 and PISA 2012 data. The results show that Korea is has a better and easy access to computer at home only. Accessability to information devices in school, computer use in schools, and the students aptitudes on using the devices were excelled by Turkey. General attitudes about computers was similar, but Turkey proved to be better at utilizing computers in schools settings. With these findings, Korea must redefine current ICT education policies and establish policies for activating the ICT education nationwide.
