컨테이너 터미널에서 무인 야드 크레인을 위한 원격작업 인원 산정

  • 컨테이너 터미널은 비용 절감과 생산성 향상을 위해 무인 야드 크레인을 운영하고 있다. 그러나 무인 야드 크레인이 상하차 작업을 안전하고 원활하게 수행하기 위해서는 작업자의 원격 통제가 필요하다. 상하차 작업은 다수의 야드 크레인에게 불규칙적으로 발생하며 다수의 원격 통제 작업자들은 교대로 작업 요청을 배정받아 원격 작업을 수행한다. 본 연구는 상하차 작업의 적정 서비스 수준을 고려하여 작업인력 비용과 대기비용의 합을 최소화하는 인력 산정 방법을 다루었다. 대기이론을 이용하여 원격작업 인력과 비용 요소의 변화에 따른 작업대기를 분석하였다.

  • In this paper, Improved productivity models of container terminal are provided by utilizing a simulation considering Tandem-lift Quay Crane and transport vehicle of container's high productivity 'Alternative ship-to-yard vehicles.' Feature of this method is deriving the data of tandem-lift Quay Crane and Alternative ship-to-yard vehicles, estimating the productivity model of tandem-lift Quay Crane by using regression analysis. Tandem-lift Quay Crane is equipment of loading and unloading to increase productivity approximately by 2 time existing (single, twin) Quay Crane by dealing with four 20ft containers or two 40ft containers at the same. Alternative ship-to-yard vehicles can transfer containers(4TEU) more than existing Yard Tractor. This paper is deriving the optimal combination showing the highest productivity by using simulation considering Tandem-lift Quay Crane and Alternative ship-to-yard vehicles on container terminals and developing estimating model of productivity by using regression analysis using data of simulation.

  • Recently, global terminal operotors are struggling to attract more cargoes into their ports through enlarging facilities and trying to be more efficient operotion Many researches on container terminal efficiency have been conducted, but most of the traditional studies are focused on the partial efficiency of the container terminal using quantitative questionnaires and basic statistical data In this paper, the Stochastic Frontier Model of the interaction among the variables was employed to execute numerical analysis on the efficiency of terminal. The objective of this paper is to measure the level of efficiency in the container terminals every year and to assess the influence in container terminal's efficiency on domestic and foreign terminals by changing the terminal scales and the level of input factors.

A Study on the Model of the Container Transport Vehicle with High Productivity (고생산성 컨테이너 이송차량 모델 연구)

  • The objective of this study is to develop the alternative model of the container transport vehicle of high productivity for the purpose of the increase of terminal productivity. In order to develop the alternatives, we analyze the technical specification of existing transport vehicles such as YT(Yard Tractor), S/C(Straddle Carrier), SHC(Shuttle Carrier), and AGV(Automated Guided Vehicle) and investigate the operation and performance of transport vehicles to classify the technical generation. The development alternative of transport vehicle presented in this study will usefully be apply to advanced container terminal with higher productivity in near future.

  • As the excessive competition between container terminals has been deepening, not only productivity, but also cost economic of the terminals has been raised. With regard to this, the competitiveness of the terminals is limited because of inefficiency operation of transfer crane(T/C) which needs large amount of energy consumption. Therefore, it is possible that the improvement in the T/C operation leads to saving cost for resources and energy as well as increasing the productivity of the terminals. This study provides 'the K-Means Clustering based Optimized Decision Model for Transfer Crane Operation', referring to 'RFID & RTLS based Port Logistics Initiative' of Ministry of Land, Transportation and Maritime Affairs and estimates the efficiency through simulating.

  • A basic concept of TAS(Tractor Appointment System), which not only enhances the terminal productivity, but also yields higher efficiency of domestic CT(Container Terminal), is developed in this paper for CT to more competitive and serviceable. To analyze the effects of TAS when applied to the existing four-tier CT, a quantitative analysis is performed. The results showed that the number of rehandling time of CT has been significantly decreased, the efficiency of CT increased, and the flow time of trucks in CT reduced in a great deal

  • 지금까지 컨테이너터미널을 계획하면서 시뮬레이션을 이용하여 소요자원의 규모나 생산성 등을 분석하려는 연구는 많이 진행되어왔다. 그렇지만 컨테이너터미널의 구성 요소에 대한 전제 조건이 부족한 경우에 도입 가능한 다양한 컨테이너 취급 시스템과 그에 관련된 배치안 및 운영 알고리즘의 조합으로 구성되는 모든 대안들을 시뮬레이션하여 비교 평가하기 위해서는 많은 비용과 시간이 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구의 목적은 상세 분석이 필요한 대상을 선정하기 위해 개발 조건을 고려한 컨테이너터미널의 적정 처리능력, 대안별 시설 규모 및 위치 그리고 하역 장비의 종류 및 운영대수 등을 대략적으로 계획하고 시뮬레이션 분석과 운영정보가 이에 체계적으로 연결되어 효율적인 의사결정을 할 수 있게 정보와 흐름을 통합 관리하는 시스템을 설계하는 것이다. 통합관리시스템은 수행 역할에 따라 프로젝트 관리, 운영정보 관리, 능력계획, 배치계획 그리고 시뮬레이션의 모듈들로 구성된다. 본 논문에서는 각 구성모듈의 기능과 모듈간의 입출력 정보를 정의하였고 시뮬레이션에서 필요한 주요 객체 및 제어 흐름을 설계하기 위해 개체지향방법론의 표준인 UML을 이용하였다.

  • Improvement of operational productivity in container terminals is a continuous demand, and related research using advanced ICT is continuously being conducted. This is a study on how to link an external expert systems in order to reduce the effort required for SW program development, testing, and stabilization according to the use of related technologies such as AI and Big Data in the terminal operating system, which is a key information system for terminal operation.
