  • The tact switch is widely used in electric and electronic products. The dome type tact spring is produced by stamping. Stamping of the tact spring and operation of the tact switch have been simulated by the elasto-plastic finite element method. The operating characteristics of the switch may be given by the relation between the operating force and stroke. For a given material, this is affected by two main factors. One is the geometry of dome spring which is determined by the geometry of stamping dies and the stamping pressure, and another one is the dimension of switch. From the calculation, it was possible to obtain the stamping conditions and switch dimension for a predetermined force-stroki relation And, the hoop stresses and effective strains distributions due to the stamping and during the operation of the switch indicate a possibility of cracking in the center and rim of dome spring.

  • As Korea's low fertility and aging progress, Korea is facing a social change such as an increase of one generation by entering an aging society that has raised 14% of the population. An effective way to prevent a gas fire accident caused by an increase in one generation in an aging society is to install a control valve to forcibly shut off the gas after a set time. In this study, we developed a valve that can be opened and closed by rotating the valve left and right by transmitting power to the worm gear and the helical gear by using a motor by pressing the switch. It is easy to assemble and inspect by developing a dedicated valve that is easy to attach and detach. It was developed to enhance competitiveness by reducing cost by reducing the number of parts and product size. In addition, through endurance test, it was developed to be used for more than 9 years by repeating ON / OFF once every 12 seconds so that it can operate stably for 10,000 times for 34 hours. The instrument and PCB were designed using solid works and Altium Designer tools. Firmware development was developed in IAR Embedded Workbench environment.

  • 2-Bromopropane, important industrial chemical, specially in electronic industry at Yangsan in Korea has been reported to cause amenorrhea for female and azoospermia, oligozoospermia or reduced sperm motility for male. 2-BP was investigated through 21 days of repeated dose in male Sprague-Dawley rats. The dose levels per body weight were 0 (control), 250,500 and 1,000 mg/kg. 2-BP dissolved in vehicle olive oil was injected into the intraperitoneum 6 times per week for 3 weeks, but 1,000 mg/kg dose group was 2 weeks because of serious illness. Male rats showed significant decreases in body weight and right and left testis showed typical weight losses depending on the 2-BP. The number of white blood cell and red blood cell , percentage of monocytes, and hemoglobin decreased significantly in high dose (P< 0.05). Red cell volume distribution width increased significantly in the high dose (P< 0.05). Histopathological findings of testes showed a decrease of spermatogenic cells, exfoliation of spermatid and spermatocyte, vacuolization of Sertoli cells and hyperplasia of Leydig cells. Protein band density between 113,000 dalton ($\beta$-galactosidase) and 53,900 dalton (ovalbumin) has decreased in 250 mg/kg dose group, but it has gradually increased to the higher density in 1,000 mg/kg dose group than in control group.
