Yeon Sang-Ho's Animation occupies an exceptional place in Korean Animation, being categorized as the kind of realism representing the pitiable actuality rather than the liberal and creative imagination. His animation appreciated as 'stories much more real than the reality' mainly depicts the world of 'the others' who resides on the periphery of the society in a rough and straightforward way. Yeon Sang-Ho's Animation represents the emotions and desire of characters as well as the heartless real world refusing the fantasy, through which it reflects the portraits of people living in post-capitalistic era seen from the microscopic view. This article investigates the textual characteristics, defining his animation as the Brutal history of 'The Others'. Two conditions which constitute the actual world in his works are the absurd social system and the characters who are afflicted with the trauma, belonging to the lower classes. Therefore, the landscape of real life which contains vicious victim, corrupted monster and being as 'homo sacer' looks like a painting of hell. Yeon Sang-Ho's Animation summons the shadow of ourselves which has been negated or neglected through the figure of 'the others' produced in post-capitalistic era and exposes our bare face and the uncomfortable truth by displaying the affected area of out society plainly. Furthermore, his works demonstrate the possibility of Korean animation as a representational language of facing the reality and searching for the truth.

Wins above replacement (WAR) is one of the most widely used statistic among sabermatrics statistics that measure the ability of a batter in baseball. WAR has a great advantage that is to represent the attack power of the player and the base running ability, defensive ability as a single value. In this study, we proposed a hitter ability index using the sabermetrics statistics that can replace WAR based on Korea Baseball Record Data of the last three years (2013-2015). First, we calculated Batter ability index through the arithmetic mean method, the weighted average method, principal component regression and selected the method that had high correlation with WAR.

현재 우리나라는 이동통신 무선망 개방, 지상파 및 위성 DMB 서비스 개시 등으로 인하여 모바일 컨텐츠 시장이 본격적으로 성장하고 있으며, 그에 따른 모바일 게임시장도 크게 형성되고 있다[1]. 하지만 모바일 회사 중 몇몇 주요 회사를 제외하고는 그 경쟁이 매우 치열한 상태이다. 우리가 생각하는 모바일 게임의 성공요인은 조작 용이, 짧은 길이, 신선함 다양성, 유인 용이, 일상생활등과 연관성 등이다. 성공요인을 갖추었음에도 불구하고 이용자들이 넓게 눈을 돌리지를 못하고 있다. 그래서 우리는 이용자들에게 아주 친숙하면서도 사용에 용이를 둔 모바일 타자게임을 제작하게 되었다. 물론 기존의 타자게임과는 다른 요소들을 집어넣어서 이용자들에게 흥미와 신선함으로 다가갔다. 그리하여 모바일 게임 영역에서 일정한 기여를 할 수 있기를 기대하고 있다. 나이가 많은 이용자들을 위하여 문자의 친숙함, 익숙함을 제공하여 주는 기능도 구현하였다.

This paper is about to analyse Merleau-Ponty's notion of flesh on textual evidences through the structure of perception and to apply this result to his theory of the others. In the first place, we study what he thinks of philosophical investigation and thus of the essence of philosophy. With this process, we find out that perception is more important than reflection in philosophical investigation. Differently from the objective or objectivistic viewpoint, the truth of perception is revealed to go beyond distinction between consciousness and object. This truth refers to reversibility which Merleau-Ponty thinks to be the ultimate truth. The reversibility of perception leads to chiasms which reveal and unreveal the beings. In the final analysis, the flesh as reversibility is the Being in the beings. When it comes to the problem of other minds, we are confirmed through the movement of flesh that self-presence is the presence to the differentiated world, namely the others.

Wins above replacement (WAR) is the most commonly used statistics of the sabermetrics that measure baseball players' abilities. The advantage of a WAR is that it enables to compare performances of players even though they have different roles such as pitcher and hitter. However, WAR is difficult to obtain with common records. Thus, a past studies (Lee and Kim, 2016) suggested the batting ability index to determine the ability of the batter focused on the sabermetrics statistics WAR. In this paper, we selected the best hitter with applying Korea baseball 2016 data based on a proposed model and then observed a total raking of others according to BAI. We are assured that BAI is very excellent statistics through comparing BAI and WAR which is in the spotlight in evaluating performances of players.

The purpose of this study was to identify the color that you want the pitcher glove hit impact on the intensity of the other. The color of the glove pitcher was set to black, orange, beige three kinds analyzed the concentration of the batter accordingly. Subjects of this study were 15 people targeting high school baseball players in Daejeon, through a pre- test and vision test color blind players were selected with no visual problems. After the blow of the experiment was used to color the glove Nideffer is modified to fit and complement the six subscales B-TAIS. As a result, when wearing a colored glove that contrasts with the color of the ball, the batter's concentration was increased. Hopefully, research will take place using the ball skill and equipment of various pitchers.

야구는 데이터 스포츠라 불릴 만큼 경기마다 많은 데이터가 생성되며, 이를 바탕으로 경기를 진행한다. 본 연구는 한국 프로야구 구단인 한화 이글스의 승률 및 타자의 성적과 날씨 사이의 상관관계를 분석하였다. 이를 위하여 한화 이글스의 승률과 타자의 성적을 한국프로야구(KBO) 공식 홈페이지 및 야구 기록 통계사이트 스탯티즈(statiz)에서 수집하였으며, 날씨 데이터는 온도와 습도를 고려한 불쾌지수 데이터를 기상청으로 부터 수집하였다. 파이선의 pandas 라이브러리를 사용하여 데이터 전처리를 실행하였다. 이후 파이선의 matplotlib 라이브러리를 이용하여 데이터 분석 및 시각화를 진행하였다. 본 연구의 분석 결과로는 불쾌지수가 보통일 때 승률이 가장 크고 높음일 때 가장 낮음을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한, 타자들의 평균 성적을 분석한 결과 보통과 매우 높음은 전체적인 타격 지수가 비슷하나 높음일 때 부진한 것으로 나왔다.

In South Korea which has become a multicultural society, ethnic and cultural others have suffered from discrimination against them and isolation from society. Multicultural policies and multicultural public education have simply focused on the assimilation of cultural others without providing opportunities to build a reciprocal relationship between Kor eans and cultural others. Noting this reality, this paper proposes intercultural Christian education as a prophetic and educational role of faith communities in society. Intercultural education, intercultural theology, Miroslav Volf's drama of embrace, and Sang-Jin Park's theory of the ecosystem of Christian education offer theoretical foundations for intercultural Christian education. Based on these foundations, the paper discusses the definition and goal of intercultural Christian education and argues for the roles of intercultural Christian education to help Christ ians "SEE" the self, the other, and the community through self-reflection, embrace, and ecological transformation. As intercultural Christian education pursues to nurture Christians to have a respectful and hospitable mindset toward cultural others, such education will help faith communities seek a multi-colored kingdom of God.

The purpose of this study was to explain, using Jacques Lacan's theory of desire, how Ellen Olenska functions as the object petit a in her relationship with Newland Archer and to connect the impossibility of Newland and Ellen's love with the impossibility of desire, in Edith Wharton's The Age of Innocence. In New York society in the 1870s, the unpleasant truth was avoided, personal opinions were excluded, no room for imagination existed, and other-ness was expelled. In that society, Newland realized that true love and true emotions were lacking in his life. For Newland, Ellen was the gap in New York society and the object that could fill that gap. Ellen functioned as the object petit a. But the romance between Newland and Ellen was forbidden in New York society, where everything was dominated by strict social codes, and especially because Newland was engaged to Ellen's cousin, May Welland. Ellen became inaccessible to Newland and this set Newland's desire for Ellen in motion. He idealized Ellen as the objet petit a, based on the fantasy that she would fill the void in his life. However, at every critical moment, Newland delayed unification with Ellen by resorting to social codes. His actions betrayed that the goal of his desire was not the fulfillment, but the reproduction of desire, with its circular movement. His decision not to see Ellen in Paris again at the end of the novel can be interpreted as Newland's effort to maintain Ellen as the inaccessible object, objet petit a, forever. It is this impossibility of desire that the romance of Newland and Ellen is predicated upon. Another purpose of this study was to expand this impossibility of desire to the relationship between man and woman and to interpret The Age of Innocence as a story showing the characteristics of the relationship between the sexes. The relationship between Newland and Ellen shows that there is no harmonious relationship between the sexes and that woman exists only as a fantasy object, objet petit a for man.
