Development of Integrated Data Management Prototype System for Aviation Accident and Incident Investigation (국내 항공사고조사를 위한 항공사고 통합 데이터 관리시스템의 프로토 타입 개발)

  • In this paper, It proposed the development of integrated data management's prototype system for aviation accident and incident system. With the recent development of the aviation accident investigation equipment, accident investigation system should collect and manage the various types of jpg, avi, and wav data files. However, the ECCAIRS system does not have a separate database for managing the various generated data during the accident investigation. And the Korea aviation accident management system also has the same problem. Therefore, in this paper, we analyze the aviation accident report system of major foreign countries and prepare a method to apply it to the domestic environment. Through the prototype of the integrated data management system, we confirmed the performance through inputting the existing data and the recently investigated data. We will use this result as basic data for completion of final integrated data management system.

The Influence of Humor on Anchor Credibility and Viewers' Attitude toward the Anchor: A Moderating Effect of News Type (유머가 앵커에 대한 신뢰성과 시청자 태도에 미치는 영향: 뉴스 유형에 따른 조절효과)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of the humor on anchor credibility, attitude and to examine the moderating impact of news type. We showed two versions of the news broadcast: one with humor, the other without it to 222 university students and analyzed how the presence of humor affects on the anchor credibility, attitude and examined the moderating role of news type. The results demonstrate that the use of humor has a negative influence on anchor credibility, but doesn't affect anchor attitude. Regarding the moderating effect of news type, the group who watched soft news was not influenced by the presence of humor, but the group who watched hard news revealed that their anchor attitude became dramatically better with the use of humor.

  • One of the major technology issues in the ship production processes is the curved hull forming process that is a bottle neck and performed by experienced workers. In order to automate the curved hull forming process, there are a lot of attempts to develop the automation system by many shipbuilding companies and academic labs. However they have some problems which put the developed system in the difficulties to be used and maintained in the yard. In this paper, the problems are formed and solved by using tailored Systems Engineering Process which consists of four steps, those are requirement definition, system design, implementation of subsystem and components, and system integration and verification. A prototype for the proposed system development methodology is implemented. From the consideration of the prototype implemented, it is verified that this methodology can be an alternative to solve the problems.

Evaluation on the Performance of Power Generation of Energy Harvesting Blocks for Urban and Housing Application (도시·주택 적용 미관용 에너지 블록의 발전성능 평가)

  • A technology that newly attract attention in the area of energy-related study is the energy harvesting(or scavenging) technology. In this paper, the performance of power generation for the energy harvesting block with a combination of piezoelectric technology and electromagnetic technology among various energy harvesting technologies was investigated. The goal of this study is to evaluate on the applicability of our developed energy harvesting block into the field of urban & housing. First, we evaluated the performance of power generation for the multi-layer energy harvester at laboratory scale. Second, we described the features of our developed prototype module that includes amplification technologies to improve power density per module and evaluated the performance of power generation for the energy harvesting block in a variety of ways. From the test results, the developed product increased the performance of power generation up to 255% or 505% compared to the existing product and its superiority were shown. Finally, we suggested the direction for the improvement of the energy harvesting block module.

Development and Performance Analysis of Gas Generator with Plunger-type Flow Control Valve for Ducted Rocket : Part II (Plunger 타입 유량조절장치를 적용한 덕티드 로켓용 가스발생기 개발 및 성능분석 : Part II)

  • In this study, a numerical approach was utilized to observe the phenomena in the ground combustion test of a gas generator for a ducted rocket with a plunger-type flow control device. The design factors were also identified through the analysis. It was observed that the pressure increase without the adhesion of the combustion product at the discharge pipe was quite similar to the analysis assuming a cone-shaped erosive burning effect. The pressure increase in most cases was similar to the analysis results when assuming the change in discharge pipe area due to the adhesion of combustion products. Moreover, it was also established that for a given grain shape and discharge flow area, the effect of the adhesion of combustion products has a significant effect on the combustion chamber pressure for cases over n=0.45.

  • For a preliminary study on a thrust-throttleable Variable Flow Ducted Rocket, a gas generator and flow control valve were developed, and ground combustion tests were performed. The gas generator and flow control valve operated at the required performance level for parameters, such as heat-resistance, combustion-time, pressure, and temperature. The combustion characteristics of a fuel-rich solid propellant mixed with Boron/MgAl/AP, etc., were also analyzed. A Plunger-type flow control valve was designed to control the discharge flow area, and it was confirmed that the flow control valve was able to control the combustion gas flow rate and pressure. However, due to the reduction of the discharge flow area caused by adhesion of combustion products, the combustion pressure continuously increased. The analysis of the pressure increase is covered in Part 2 of this paper.

Suggestion of Safety Vest Prototype according to Work Type for Construction Workers (건설 작업자의 공종별 안전조끼 프로토타입 제안)

  • This research explores the efficacy of safety vest colors at construction sites to enhance worker safety. Utilizing the Munsell color system and the Korean Standard Color Analysis program(KSCA), the study developed a prototype safety vest tailored to specific types of construction work. A safety vest with a color contrasting the site's environment significantly improves worker visibility and intuitiveness in identification, potentially reducing safety incidents. The study determined the optimal color specifications(hue, value, chroma) for safety vests in various construction roles, such as 10GY, 8, 8 for rebar placement, 8.75B, 7, 8 for Euroform, 3.75B, 2, 4 for Gangform, and 6.25BG, 5, 10 for steel erection. Feedback from construction experts on these prototypes, particularly regarding the safety vests for rebar placement and steel framework, was overwhelmingly positive(90% approval). Consequently, the proposed safety vest color scheme is deemed highly effective.

  • 본 논문에서는 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 구현에 있어서 중요 핵심 요소 기술인 실내에서의 사용자의 위치를 인식하면서 동시에 사용자를 식별하는 방법에 대해 제안하고자 한다. 제안된 사용자 식별 방법은 초음파 센서의 물체까지의 거리를 측정할 수 있는 특성에 기초하여 구성원의 키 높이의 다름을 주요한 식별 특성으로 이용하는 방법이다. 또한 사용자 식별을 수행하는 것과 동시에 식별된 사용자가 센서가 장착된 문을 통과하여 들어왔는지 나갔는지를 감지하는 출입 감지 방법도 제안한다. 기본적인 출입 감지 방법의 아이디어는 2개 초음파 센서의 물체 감지 순서를 이용하여 개발되었다. 제안된 방법의 성능 검증을 위해 1단계의 프로토타입을 만들었으며, 개발된 프로토타입을 이용하여 3명의 가족 구성원으로 이루어진 일반 가정집의 화장실에 장착하여 성능 실험을 실시하였다. 실험 결과 100%의 사용자 식별 성능 및 평균 98%의 출입 감지 성능을 얻었다.

  • 최근 저탄소 녹색성장 및 그린에너지 개발 정책에 힘입어 외연기관의 일종으로 Stirling Engine에 대한 관심이 고조되고 있다. 스털링엔진은 크게 알파, 베타, 감마형의 3가지 방식으로 구분되어지며 그 중 감마타입 엔진의 설계가 용이하고 다양한 적용이 가능하다는 특징이 있음에도 실린더와 크랭크간의 접속거리 문제로 인하여 알파, 베타 타입에 비하여 용적을 크게 차지하는 문제가 있었다. 이를 해결하기 위한 방안으로 주로 알파형에 적용하는 Yoke crank를 적용하면 용적을 줄임과 동시에 실린더의 병렬화에도 유리하다. 금번 연구에서는 기존의 Ross Yoke crank 설계기법에서 나아가 감마형 스털링엔진의 Yoke crank 설계를 더욱 단순하고 효율적으로 적용할 수 있는 방법을 제시한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 전기자전거 및 전기스쿠터에 적용할 수 있는 독립여자권선 3상 영구자석 전동기의 구동제어 시스템 구현 및 특성파악을 수행하였으며, 역기전력에 대한 상전류의 위상각을 조정하는 진상각 제어법(홀센서가 부착된 위치센서 보드의 미세 조정)의 적용을 통해 상전류의 파형개선과 출력 및 토크향상을 기하였다. 또한, 기존 허브타입 전동기의 단점을 개선시킨 Spoke타입 독립여자권선 영구자석 전동기를 내장한 하이브리드 구동장치를 설계하여 적용하였다. 시뮬레이션 및 실험을 통해 광범위한 속도영역에서 본 구동제어 시스템의 출력 및 효율개선 특성을 확인하였다.
