음극재에 사용되는 타이타니아 나노튜브($TiO_2$ nanotubes)는 높은 종횡비를 가지고 있으며, 기계적인 강도가 우수하고 화학적인 안정성이 높다. 그러나 낮은 전기전도도와 상대적으로 넓은 밴드갭(bandgap)은 다양한 활용 분야에 이 물질이 활용되는 것을 제한하고 있는 상황이다. 전기 화학적 분야에서 광화학 반응 또는 과전압에서 밴드갭을 줄이기 위한 타이타니아 나노튜브의 나노 구조 변형에 대한 많은 연구가 있어왔다. 본 연구에서는 산화 몰리브덴(Molybdenum oxide)을 촉매로 사용하여 타이타니아 나노튜브에 전기충격법을 이용하여 도핑했다. 생성된 타이타니아 나노튜브를 $450^{\circ}C$에서 1시간 30분 동안 가열하여 타이타니아 나노구조를 아나타제(anatase) 구조로 변형켰다. 타이타니아 나노튜브의 구조적인 변화를 scanning electron microscopy(SEM), energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDS) 등을 통해 측정했고 UV-Visiblespectroscopy를 통해 도핑된 타이타니아 나노튜브의 밴드갭을 측정하였다. 몰리브덴이 도핑된 타이타니아 나노튜브는 기존의 타이타니아 나노튜브가 가지는 밴드갭인 3.0 ~ 3.2eV 범위보다 더 낮아진 2.6 ~ 2.8eV의 범위를 가지는 것을 확인하였다. 몰리브덴이 도핑된 타이타니아 나노튜브는 다양한 광촉매 분야에 적용될 수 있을 것으로 예상된다.

한국, 중국, 일본의 작가 107명이 참가한 '타이포 잔치 2011: 서울 국제 타이포그래피 비엔날레'가 지난 8월 30일부터 9월 14일까지 예술의 전당 서예박물관에서 열렸다. 세계 유일의 타이포그래피 비엔날레인 이번 행사는 문화체육관광부(장관 정병국) 주최, 한국공예 디자인문화진흥원(원장 최정심), 한국타이포그래피학회(회장 원유홍), 예술의 전당(사장 김장실) 공동 주관으로 '동아시아의 불꽃(동아화화(東亞火花), Fire Flower of East Asia)'이라는 주제로 열렸다. 한국, 중국, 일본 3개국의 타이포그래피 대표 작가 107명이 전시에 참가했다.

Although digitization contributes to the conservation and preservation of cultural heritage resources, detailing the necessary techniques is a lack of standardization in existing digital repositories. The purpose of this paper is to present practical strategies to illustrate technical details of imaging processes and metadata description with examples. This paper also provides important management issues related to digitization management for project managers and practitioners.

금속이 첨가된 타이타니아 물질은 밴드갭이 감소해 자외선보다 파장이 긴 가시광 영역에서도 광촉매 반응을 나타낸다. 바나듐이 도핑된 타이타니아를 sol-gel법으로 제조하여 가시광과 자외선 환경에서 methylene blue의 감소량을 측정해 촉매특성평가를 하였다. 기존 상용 타이타니아(Degussa, P25)를 대조군으로 특성을 평가한 결과 가시광 영역에서 초기 반응 속도가 3배 이상 빨라짐을 확인하였다. UV-vis를 사용해 optical band gap을 측정한 결과 밴드갭이 감소함을 확인할 수 있었다. 도핑이 끝난 타이타니아 전구체 물질을 AAO template 위에 코팅한 후 sodium hydroxide로 template을 제거 후 나노그물을 제작하였다.

본 연구에서는 게임 배경 제작을 위한 3D 타이포 그래픽 연출에 관한 연구를 제안한다. 게임 배경에 어울리는 타이포그래픽을 연출함으로써 게임에 대한 몰입과 그 게임에 대한 호기심을 유발하며, 그 게임의 특성을 나탄 낸다. 따라서 게임 배경의 타이포 그래픽의 효과가 크다고 할 수 있다. 따라서 게임 CD 타이틀 제작 등의 분야에 응용되며, 타이포 그래픽의 효과를 높인다.

매체의 발달은 타이포그래피에 있어서 키네틱 타이포그래피의 활용을 통해 감정이 전달이 풍부해 질 수 있도록 해 주었지만 그 기본 근간이 되는 프레임의 면모를 살펴보면 지면이나 화면 한 페이지에서도 볼드나 행간의 간격, 폰트의 사용, 여백 등의 요소뿐 아니라 실험적 타이포그래피를 통해 감정을 표현할 수 있다는 것을 알 수 있다.

'타이포잔치 2013: 서울 국제 타이포그래피 비엔날레'가 8월 30일 개막식을 시작으로 10월 11일까지 문화역서울284(구 서울역사)에서 열린다. 이 행사는 문화체육관광부(장관 유진룡)가 주최하고 (재)한국공예디자인문화진흥원과 한국타이포그라피학회 공동 주관으로 진행된다. 특히 10월 8일에는 '한글날 전야제'가 문화역서울 284, RTO 공연장에서 열린다.

The objective of the present study is to propose a reliable shape of supplementary V-ties in the section jacketing approach for seismic strengthening of reinforced concrete columns. A total of 24 pull-out specimens were prepared. The test parameters selected with regard to bond strength of V-ties were the shape of V-ties, embedment length of V-tie legs, and compressive strength of concrete. The measured bond strength of V-ties with different shapes were compared with that of the conventional V-ties and predictions using CEB-FIP equation. Ultimately, V-ties with pressed end-details at their legs could be recommended for the supplementary lateral reinforcement of strengthening columns with jacketing thickness less than the embedment length [= max (75mm, $6d_b$)] of conventional V-ties, where $d_b$ is the diameter of the reinforcing bar used for V-ties.

Guillaume Apolinaire and Filippo Marinetti who are pioneers of the early 20 century in point of breaking traditional typographic rules and making particular typographic communication styles,have considered as the same categorytypoillustration or pictorial typography-in other studies evenif they have' particular differences. Their chromcal and theoretical background, works, exPressive materials and methods and the values were analyzed through thesis, books, periodicals and internet materials, and researched the characteristics. There are clear differences in the view of arranging type; expressive materials, sentence struction, layout. The most important differences are concrete expression by Apolinaire and abstract expression by Marinetti . These differences and characteristics made the base of Dada typography and the concrete typogaphers as Bradbury Thompson and Herb Lubalin were influenced by Apolinaire, abstract typographers as Piet Zwart and Neville Brody were influenced by Marinetti.
