  • 웹캐스팅 비즈니스에 있어서 콘텐츠의 중요성은 굳이 언급하지 않아도 될 정도로 크다. 쥬피터 커뮤니케이션즈의 조사에 근거하면, 미디어 사업에서의 콘텐츠의 중요성이 사업성을 좌우하는 절대적인 기준으로서 콘텐츠 기획 제작 보급이 70%정도 차지한다고 할 정도이다. 특히 웹캐스팅 비즈니스는 웹미디어 비즈니스이기 이전에 콘텐츠 비즈니스이므로 콘텐츠의 중요성은 더욱 크다. 콘텐츠 기획과 제작능력이 웹캐스팅 비즈니스의 최대의 관건이자 최고의 경쟁력임을 명심해야 한다.

  • With the development of Information and communication technology the demand for intangible products, in this case contents; are increasing rapidly. However, the market for paid contents is relatively un-vitalized and especially the market for business contents, needed for promoting business or work; is even more stagnant. Existing studies seek to vitalize the paid content market by proposing business models from the supplier's aspect. This study carries out a qualitative research, to discover the causes for market non-vitalization of business content from the user's perspective; by conducting in-depth interviews with 125 customers of business contents targeting office workers and independent businessmen. Through the answers of in-depth interviews, in regards of reasons for purchasing/non-purchasing business contents and problems of business content market; the result indicated that value, trust, and quality are the factors that have direct influence on the purchase. The study proposes resolution to all the problems indicated in three influential factors and derived the responsibility of each paid content market participants; the supplier, related government institution, and user.

  • 디지털콘텐츠는 인터넷 기반 사업 분야의 핵심요인으로 인지되어져 왔다. 디지털콘텐츠 산업은 인터넷 등의 매체를 통해 가치 확산이 빠르게 이루어질 수 있으나 유통 과정의 문제로 인해 사업적 성공을 기대하기는 쉽지 않다. 현재까지 제시된 관련 사업모델은 오프라인 상에서 진행되어 온 유형재(Goods)나 서비스 모델을 반영하여 디지털콘텐츠 분야의 성공적인 사업화를 위한 필요요소를 적극적으로 반영하지 못하여 왔다. 본 연구에서는 디지털콘텐츠의 사업적 성과 향상 및 부가가치 창출을 위해 고려하여야 할 요인을 반영한 사업모델과 그 평가방법을 제시하였다. 또한 제시된 사업모델의 성공적 운영을 위한 전략을 환경에 따라 차별적으로 제시하였다

  • As the Internet is more embedded in people's lives, users draw on new Internet applications to express themselves through user-created contents(UCC). UCC is defined as content that is made publicly available over the Internet, reflects a certain amount of creative effort and is created outside of professional practices. This study describes the rapid growth of UCC as well as its increasing role in network-based communication. Based on the definition of UCC and the structure of emerging value chain, a taxonomy of UCC businesses is presented : UCC e-marketing business, UCC publishing business, UCC e-retailing business, and UCC development software business. This paper concludes with implications for platform and internet access providers.

Also, it can extend by emotional contents of Mobile base by communication role as sensible symbol that satisfy various emotion and appetite of expressed opinion is available.   • The number of online video content distributors are rapidly increasing in N-screen environment. The purpose of this study is to analyze the business model of these distributors, especially Netflix and Hulu. Basis on STOF model, environmental domain, service domain, organization domain and financial domain of each company are analyzed and compared. This study finds that each company's business model had distinct characters in earlier stage. Netflix offered online and offline service in low cost, while Hulu offered up-to-date TV contents without fees. However, two companies' business models are getting similar. The result of this study shows that highly competitive environment and increasing content budget affect two companies to adopt similar business model to survive.

  • The study aims to anticipate evolution direction of mobile content business in the future, and derive successful strategies at the same time with multiple and composite analysis of evolution process and environmental change of mobile business. In conclusion, Firstly, it should strengthen customer approach performance, secondly, approaches with sensitively, and needs opened business model. Fourthly, it needs planning and production of contents which reflects the need of customers, and fifthly, it requires development of mobile platform leading contents group and multiplication of CP business model. In the aspect of industrial policy, sustainable and future-oriented policy should be arranged rather than short-term and simple police, for the continual development of mobile content industry. To establish healthy and active mobile contents industry, the government and regulatory institutes are more preferable to devote to the role of circumstance builder rather than the leader of mobile content market. In other words, they are recommended to focus on establishing basic regulation and order for smooth operation of the market and its management.

  • 비즈니스 모델 연구는 대부분이 제품, 서비스에 관한 것으로, 개발 중인 기술에 대해 체계적으로 접근 분석한 연구는 아직까지 미흡하다. 본 고에서는 비즈니스 모델 캔버스를 활용하여 기술에 대한 비즈니스 모델을 분석할 수 있는 방법론을 개발하고자 한다. 개발된 방법론은 한국전자통신연구원에 개발 중인 R&D 기술에 대한 비즈니스 모델 분석에 활용될 것이다.
