The Effect of Social Network Usage on the Formation of Social Capital : Based on Twitter, Facebook, KakaoStory (소셜네트워크 활용이 사회자본 형성에 미치는 영향 : 트위터, 페이스북, 카카오스토리를 중심으로)

  • Social Network has common functions such as acting as primary platforms smoothing the sharing and distribution by combination with various contents. Hence, questionnaire has been conducted to users of all of Twitter, Facebook and KakaoStory, and the factors affected by each service are presented by statistical analyses of the survey and the results are resolved by dividing them into complete and instrumental social capital. This study will be able to provide a standard for users to select Social Network according to their purposes and contribute to development of new Social Network or improvement of existing ones.

Implementation of Video Watermarking and Transcoding for High Compression and Copyright protection based on Directshow Environment (다이렉트쇼 환경 기반에서 고압축과 저작권 보호를 위한 비디오 트랜스 코딩과 워터마킹 구현)

  • H.264와 같은 고압축 비디오처리 기법의 등장으로 기존의 MPEG2와 같은 비디오 압축에서 H.264로의 비디오 트랜스코딩이 증가되고 있지만, 고압축 비디오 콘텐츠의 온라인과 오프라인에서 불법배포는 현재 문제가 되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 다이렉트쇼 환경 기반에서 고압축과 저작권 보호를 위한 비디오 트랜스 코딩과 워터마킹을 구현한다. 제안한 방법은 다이렉트쇼의 필터를 이용하여 MPG,WMV를 H.264로 비디오 트랜스코딩을 하고 이와 함께 비디오의 공간영역 특성을 이용하여 저작권 보호를 위한 강인한 워터마킹을 구현한다. 실험 결과 MPG,WMV를 H.264로 트랜스코딩에서 H.264의 QP(Quantization parameter)를 15로 하고 화면간 반복을 10프레임으로 하였을 경우 저작권 보호를 위하여 삽입된 워터마크는 평균 99% 검출됨을 확인하였고, 또한 트랜스코딩중 워터마크삽입에 따른 시간지연은 전체 트랜스코딩시간의 5.7%가 됨을 확인할 수 있었다. 제안한 방법은 저작권 삽입 기능가지는 트랜스코딩 소프트웨어를 필요로 하는 Digital TV방송, IPTV, DVD 사업에 사용 될 수 있을 것이다.

  • 인터넷의 확산으로 소프트웨어 산업구조는 패키지 방식에서 웹을 중심으로 한 방식으로 변화되었다. 소프트웨어 배포 및 사용이 웹을 통해 이루어지고 사용자들도 자신이 원하는 콘텐츠를 직접 제작할 수 있게 되었다. 이와 더불어, 웹 기반 소프트웨어에 대한 사용자 요구사항도 더욱 많아졌다. 사용자들은 멀티미디어 지원, 상호작용, 데스크톱 수준의 시각적으로 화려한 인터페이스(UI)를 웹 브라우저를 통해 사용하기를 원한다. 하지만, HTML과 스크립트 언어 기반의 웹 시스템 만으로는 사용자 요구사항을 만족시키기가 어렵다. RIA(Rich Internet Application)는 HTML의 한계를 극복하고, 사용자 요구사항을 충족시키기 위해 제안된 모델이다. 향후 RIA 기술은 많은 분야의 소프트웨어 개발에 사용될 것이다. 본 논문에서는 RIA 기술에 대해 알아보고 RIA 개발을 위해 필요한 요소들을 정의하고 RIA 개발환경들의 장단점을 비교 평가한다. 또한 각 플랫폼의 성공적인 응용사례를 살펴봄으로써 RIA 개발환경 선택에 도움을 주고자 한다.

An Analysis of the Comparative Importance of Systematic Attributes for Developing an Intelligent Online News Recommendation System: Focusing on the PWYW Payment Model (지능형 온라인 뉴스 추천시스템 개발을 위한 체계적 속성간 상대적 중요성 분석: PWYW 지불모델을 중심으로)

  • Mobile devices have become an important channel for news content usage in our daily life. However, online news content readers' resistance to online news monetization is more serious than other digital content businesses, such as webtoons, music sources, videos, and games. Since major portal sites distribute online news content free of charge to increase their traffics, customers have been accustomed to free news content; hence this makes online news providers more difficult to switch their policies on business models (i.e., monetization policy). As a result, most online news providers are highly dependent on the advertising business model, which can lead to increasing number of false, exaggerated, or sensational advertisements inside the news website to maximize their advertising revenue. To reduce this advertising dependencies, many online news providers had attempted to switch their 'free' readers to 'paid' users, but most of them failed. However, recently, some online news media have been successfully applying the Pay-What-You-Want (PWYW) payment model, which allows readers to voluntarily pay fees for their favorite news content. These successful cases shed some lights to the managers of online news content provider regarding that the PWYW model can serve as an alternative business model. In this study, therefore, we collected 379 online news articles from Ohmynews.com that has been successfully employing the PWYW model, and analyzed the comparative importance of systematic attributes of online news content on readers' voluntary payment. More specifically, we derived the six systematic attributes (i.e., Type of Article Title, Image Stimulation, Article Readability, Article Type, Dominant Emotion, and Article-Image Similarity) and three or four levels within each attribute based on previous studies. Then, we conducted content analysis to measure five attributes except Article Readability attribute, measured by Flesch readability score. Before conducting main content analysis, the face reliabilities of chosen attributes were measured by three doctoral level researchers with 37 sample articles, and inter-coder reliabilities of the three coders were verified. Then, the main content analysis was conducted for two months from March 2017 with 379 online news articles. All 379 articles were reviewed by the same three coders, and 65 articles that showed inconsistency among coders were excluded before employing conjoint analysis. Finally, we examined the comparative importance of those six systematic attributes (Study 1), and levels within each of the six attributes (Study 2) through conjoint analysis with 314 online news articles. From the results of conjoint analysis, we found that Article Readability, Article-Image Similarity, and Type of Article Title are the most significant factors affecting online news readers' voluntary payment. First, it can be interpreted that if the level of readability of an online news article is in line with the readers' level of readership, the readers will voluntarily pay more. Second, the similarity between the content of the article and the image within it enables the readers to increase the information acceptance and to transmit the message of the article more effectively. Third, readers expect that the article title would reveal the content of the article, and the expectation influences the understanding and satisfaction of the article. Therefore, it is necessary to write an article with an appropriate readability level, and use images and title well matched with the content to make readers voluntarily pay more. We also examined the comparative importance of levels within each attribute in more details. Based on findings of two studies, two major and nine minor propositions are suggested for future empirical research. This study has academic implications in that it is one of the first studies applying both content analysis and conjoint analysis together to examine readers' voluntary payment behavior, rather than their intention to pay. In addition, online news content creators, providers, and managers could find some practical insights from this research in terms of how they should produce news content to make readers voluntarily pay more for their online news content.

A Study of Influencing Factors in Internet Shopping of the Consumer's Purchase Intention (인터넷 쇼핑의 구매의도 영향요인)

  • This study was intended to investigate the attributes of the Internet shopping mall and to examine the effects of each attribute on the consumer purchase intention. 279 valid responses of total 300 questionnaire were used for the analysis of this study. Both the exploratory factor analysis and reliability analysis were conducted to evaluate the conceptual validity and internal coherence of the determining variables and the use intention. The factor analysis resulted in identifying the five factors of the Internet shopping mall and on the multiple regression analysis, three of the five identified factors were found to affect significantly the purchase intention. According to the verified results interactivity(t=4.384) was found to affect positively the use intention, while privacy risk(t=-2.985) and delivery risk(t=-2.257) were found to affect negatively the purchase intention. Managerial suggestions are recommended as the results of analysis. It is urgently necessary for decreasing countermeasures delivery risk and privacy risk to enhance purchase intention of customers in internet shopping malls. Especially obtaining more information on consumers gives short-term advantages to marketers, perceived slackness in privacy will hinder purchase intention in internet shopping malls in the long run by causing distrust of consumers. Other limitations and future research directions are also mentioned.

Emergence of Social Networked Journalism Model: A Case Study of Social News Site, "wikitree" (소셜 네트워크 저널리즘 모델의 출현: 소셜 뉴스사이트, "위키트리" 사례연구)

  • This paper examines the rising value of social networked journalism and analyzes the case of a social news site based on the theory of networked journalism. Social networked journalism allows the public to be involved in every aspect of journalism production through crowd-sourcing and interactivity. The networking effect with the public is driving journalism to transform into a more open, more networked and more responsive venue. "wikitree" is a social networking news service on which anybody can write news and disseminate it via Facebook and Twitter. It is operated as an open sourced program which incorporates "Google Translate" to automatically convert all its content, enabling any global citizen with an Internet access to contribute news production and share either their own creative contents or generated contents from other sources. Since its inception, "wikitree global" site has been expanding its coverage rapidly with access points arising from 160 countries. Analyzing its international coverage by country and by news category as well as by the unique visit numbers via SNS, the results of the case study imply that networking with the global public can enhance news traffic to the social news site as well as to specific news items. The results also suggest that the utilization of Twitter and Facebook in social networked journalism can break the boundary between local and global public by extending news-gathering ability while growing audience's interest in the site, and engender a feasible business model for a local online journalism.

  • Due to the characteristic that early childhood education is a process of nurturing children's senses by a leader rather than the transfer of knowledge, even in the era of with Corona, early childhood distance education is not one-to-one non-face-to-face education, but rather through distributed materials such as early childhood education packages or media such as TV. Distance education was conducted in a self-care method. Through a review of prior research and intensive parent interviews, the researcher identified the requirements for distance education, such as the expansion and accessibility of educational contents, understanding of basic knowledge of early childhood distance education, and the need to increase children's social skills through real-time distance education. It was identified that the current distance education-related solutions are not suitable for early childhood education. Accordingly, the researcher presents the basic direction (VERI) of the early childhood distance education solution of diversity, ease, real-time communication, and integration, and provides a Web/App platform that allows children, parents, and teachers to share content and communicate in real time and in non-real time. The development of a solution was proposed. This distance education solution is expected to effectively support early childhood distance education in the era of With Corona as infants, parents, and teachers communicate and share the current situation, which is only presenting guidelines and materials.

The effect of experience factors of untact fashion·beauty performances on customer satisfaction through perceived value (비대면 패션·뷰티 공연의 체험요인이 지각된 가치를 매개로 고객만족에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is based on Pine and Gilmore's (1998) Experiential Economic Theory (4E's). This study mediates the perceived value of the experience factors (entertainment, aesthetic, deviant and educational experience) of Untact fashion and beauty performances. The impact on customer satisfaction was analyzed a total of 230 questionnaires were collected for visitors to the 15th Untact 'Asia Model Festival', which were successfully held in Seoul in 2020. The statistical analysis method used the SPSS 21.0 statistical program. As a result of the study, it was found that the experience factors had a significant effect on perceived value and customer satisfaction. In addition, perceived value was found to have a significant effect on customer satisfaction, and perceived value as a parameter was found to partially mediate the effect of experience factors on customer satisfaction. By studying the empirical analysis in this way, practical implications were presented and basic data that could be used for reference to related research were provided. However, future research should contribute to academic development through research on variables not covered in this research, and research on various untact performances should be continued.

A Study on Platform Design Factors to Raise Public Awareness of the Horse Industry (말 산업의 대중인식 제고를 위한 플랫폼 설계요인에 관한 연구)

  • This study examines which factors will act as important factors for the public in designing a platform in the future to raise public awareness of the horse industry, and through this, a study on platform design factors of the horse industry to present insights on optimal platform design. For this study, structured questionnaires were distributed to 300 domestic adults who were interested in the horse industry to collect data, and the research questions set by using the statistical processing program SPSS 22.0 Ver were verified. As a result of the study, the usefulness of information in the central route and the playfulness of the information source among the peripheral routes were the most influential factors for consumer attitudes, and the up-to-dateness of information in the central route on consumer behavioral intentions. It was found that the attractiveness of the information source among the surrounding routes was the most influential factor. In addition, it was found that the positive attitude of consumers toward the horse industry platform is a factor that has a positive effect on the purchase intention and positive word of mouth intention for the horse industry in the future. Based on these results, this researcher needs to design content that can unravel useful information related to the horse industry in an interesting way to raise public awareness of the horse industry, and to provide the latest trends related to the horse industry at all times to draw real demand It should be possible and suggested that a design configuration that can make the platform feel more attractive is needed.

Applying RSS Marketing on Internet Shopping Malls Based on AISAS Model (인터넷 쇼핑몰을 위한 AISAS 모델 기반의 RSS 마케팅 활용방안에 관한 연구)

  • The area of the internet shopping mall heavily relies on new emerging information technologies, and it essentially requires delicate marketing model to support consumer behavior. RSS, which is one of the representative Web 2.0 technologies, is the system that distributes digital contents without any Web browser. RSS is expected not only to be very useful in online marketing but also to become actively applied on various areas such as online newspapers and blogs. AISAS model was proposed to complement the AIDMA model that did not cover the new changing customer behaviors of online commerce environment such as search and share. In this research, we propose a marketing model which utilizes RSS based on the AISAS model to support internet shopping malls. With our marketing model, internet shopping malls are expected to provide required services to the customers at every AISAS step. Moreover, it can provide integrated services by connecting all service components of each step. We utilized RSS in our model to implement those services because RSS has many advantages on supporting search and share of product information.
