  • The kimchi industry is a high value-added industry, boosts the self-esteem of the people as a measure of a country's culture industry, and is one of the strategic industries to be fostered. However, the kimchi industry is struggling due to the lack of national consensus on the importance and value of the kimchi industry. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to analyze how much the kimchi industry contributes to the national economy by measuring economic effects of the kimchi industry on national economy. To achieve this purpose, the study used the kimchi industry Input-Output Table of year 2013 of korea. The results shows that kimchi industry induce 510,013 billion won of national production, especially the retail trade distribution industry shows that production inducement coefficient is 1.8418(row), 1.1760(column), Index of the power of dispersion is 0.9611, index of the sensitivity of dispersion is 0.6136, income inducement coefficient is 0.1820, tax inducement coefficient is 0.0084 and employment inducement coefficient is 0.003. With the help of information technology.

  • Alternative splicing is an important process in gene expression. Alternative Splicing can lead to mutations and diseases. Most studies detect alternatively spliced genes with ESTs (Expressed Sequence Tags). However, reliance on ESTs might have some weaknesses in predicting alternative splicing. ESTs have been stored in the libraries. The EST libraries are often not clearly organized and annotated. We can pick erroneous ESTs. It is also difficult to predict whether or not alternative splicing exists for those genes where ESTs are not available. To address these issues and to improve the quality of detection and prediction for alternative splicing, we propose the One-leaf One-node Tree Algorithm that uses pre-mRNAs. It is achieved by codons, three nucleotides, as attributes for each chromosome in Arabidopsis thaliana. The proposed decision tree shows that alternative and normal splicing have different splicing patterns according to triplet nucleotides in each chromosome. Based on the patterns, alternative splicing of unlabeled genes can also be predicted.

  • The purpose of this study was to determine the trends of research on the effects of psychosocial intervention related to children with epilepsy. 454 articles were retrieved from databases (Ovid-MEDLINE, EMBASE, PubMed, CINAHL, The Cochrane library, KMbase, and Koreamed), and 7 articles met our criterias. Interventions were classified into four categories: education; counseling; cognitive-behavioral therapy; and physical activity. The target outcomes of the interventions were quite diverse. Each intervention showed some benefits for epilepsy-related health outcomes, but each study had methodological weaknesses, including incomplete information, poorly defined or validated outcome measures, small sample sizes, and design limitations.

  • With the reformation of organization and function of local office of education in 2010, consulting-supervision is introduced to schools as a system for education reform to improve the quality of school education. However, a dedicated on-line portal system that can provide integrated management on the functionalities of consulting-supervision has not been implemented yet. To successfully operate consulting-supervision in schools, it is also needed to provide an on-line consultant education system, that can support teachers to train themselves as a supervision-consultant. In this paper, we introduce an on-line consultant training system that provides various learning activity tools for consultant training based on Learning Activity Management System(LAMS) and Action Learning. The system consists of Management stage, Analysis stage, Solution stage, and Action stage for the empowerment of consultants' expertises, and is named as MASA. Brain-writing, SWOT(Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threads) analysis, 5Whys, decision grid, PMI(Plus, Minus, Interesting), and black chart techniques were developed in MASA as learning activity tools for consultant training.

  • The D&M(DeLone and McLean) IS(Information System) Success model has been widely studied in various criteria such as e-commerce and education, and many empirical research has been performed enough to execute meta-analysis from original model developed in 1992 to updated model in 2003. However, almost all researches have been validated end-user point of view those could lead IS success factors perceived by users but not applicable to developers because developers could not recognize from those result that how much gap exist between one's perception and users. Therefore, in this research, we apply D&M IS success model to A bank developers and users and compare perceptions by multi-group structural equation model.

  • The purpose of the study is that which has to do with changes that are inherent in life or mental health of the local population, which appears as a subjective aspect of social capital of local residents. To examine factors that affect the mental health of the residents of a social capital accumulation and changes, as described a positive relationship between social capital in several previous studies related to the quality of life of local residents. The results showed that affect the mental health is the only community consciousness in 2010, higher community consciousness and higher network capacity of 2011 residents, but higher mental health scores, lower mental health scores were greater participation in social participation. Also score high in the mental health component of the group of the high number of people in all social capital and more social capital were higher than residents in low mental health score group. The indirect effects on mental health of the residents of social capital accumulation and changes.

  • Analyzed information from research outcomes such as papers, reports and patents is important data as an indicator for setting up the direction of future research policy, as well as is essential for active sharing and dissemination of research information and cooperative work between researchers. In this paper, as a method for presenting the analyzed information easily, accurately and systematically, we describe a method that processes the information about research outcomes into ontology-based knowledge and expands the knowledge by reasoning. Especially, we focus on the definition of analyzed information from research outcomes and queries and postprocess for obtaining the analyzed information from the ontology-based knowledge.

  • HANTEC 2.0 (A Korean Test Collection) is distributed for evaluation of information retrieval systems. HANTEC 2.0 is consists of 120,000 documents, 50 topics(queries) and relevant information. The relevant information is constructed by pooling methods. The relevant information is very important for evaluation of information retrieval systems. So we would like to review of the relevant information by manual method. It will be show validation of pooling method and HANTEC relevant information. We make tool for manual review of relevant information and review of that. We review of relevant information between manual relevant information and HANTEC's. We review of pooling method and HANTEC relevant information. The manual relevant information will be use evaluation of information retrieval systems.

  • Recently Usage statistics are widely available from online content providers. However. the statistics are not yet available in a consistent data container and the administrative cost of individual provider-by-provider downloads is high. The Standardized Usage Statistics Harvesting Initiative (SUSHI) is developing an automated request and response protocol for moving Project COUNTER (Counting Online Usage of Networked Electronic Resources) Code of Practice usage statistics from providers to library electronic repositories. SUSHI will help libraries make better decisions by reducing the administrative overhead of using Project COUNTER statistics. Publishers in the recording and exchange of usage statistics for electronic resources, initially journals and databases. By following COUNTER's Code of Practice, vendors can provide library customers with Excel or CSV (comma delimited) files of usage data using COUNTER's standardized formats and data elements. The result is a consistent, credible, and compatible set of usage data from multiple content providers. On this study, We propose the acquisition model of usage data based on SUSHI for KESLI that is overseas electronic journal consortium in korea.

  • The Moore's law states that the number of transistors on a chip doubles about every 18 months. And it was reported that the network speed has been doubled about every 9 months. This indicates that computing power and network is no longer the obstacles for the high performance applications requiring terabits networks. We believe that the application motivates the network and vice versa. This presentation will introduce the GLORIAD which is the first ring network connecting six countries around the world and provides scientists with advanced networking tools that improve a communications and data exchange. The GLORIAD trans-Pacific link started its service on August 1, 2005. Since then, there has been remarkable demonstrations were performed through major conferences like Supercomputing Conference. This paper will introduce the global collaborative works on demonstrations of VMT, high energy physics, SDSS and HD video transmission during SC'06 in Tampa, FL.
