The purpose of the present study is to examine the causal relationship and invest the difference among isolation, interaction, content satisfaction, achievement and persistence in cyber university education by employment status. For this study, 104 students at A cyber university in Korea completed surveys in the fall semester of 2011. The result of this study indicated that there was a meaningful effect of interaction on isolation. Secondly, there was a meaningful effect of interaction on content satisfaction. Thirdly there was a meaningful effect of interaction on achievement. Lastly there were meaningful effects of isolation and interaction on persistence. In addition, according to multi-group analysis, there were no significant differences of structural path coefficients between two groups. Based on these results, this study suggests instructional design methods and management strategies to improve the quality of learning in cyber universities.

Due to the proliferation of smart devices, worldwide market growth of e-book content steep, but the domestic market shows relatively low growth rate and small size. In this study, a distribution modeling of the e-book business as a way to solve the problem of the domestic market of disabled was carried out to analyze the Amazon.com and Apple's e-book content distribution structure of the active leader in the U.S. market. And we tried to suggest a solution by investigation and analysis of the college students's receptive attitude on the e-book content as the main target to enable the markets based on the interest for publication. In adoption attitude survey, mainly low-readability and lack of content problem were reasons not to accommodate. There is a need to improve the quantity and quality of content through with technological advances and market participation together. For more participation, we expect to take advantage of the results of this study to establish or improve the systematic distribution structure.

The Asynchronous indivisual learning offer advantages such as allowing learners to study at their preferred times without spatial constraints. However, since these classes are not conducted in real-time, there are limitations in conveying learners' feedback on problematic or inadequately explained course content to the instructors. This paper proposed a system for relaying feedback information from learners who view course content to the instructors. Learners can investigate the reasons for pausing online recorded class content, and they can transmit these pause reasons along with the time information of the paused content to the instructors. Instructors receive feedback information and pause times of learners' online recorded class videos in graphical form, making it easier to identify areas with numerous issues in the course content at a glance. Instructors can incorporate this feedback to re-upload the content, resulting in higher-quality course materials, which, in turn, can enhance learners' academic achievements.

Semantic search promises to provide more accurate result than present-day keyword matching-based search by using the knowledge base represented logically. But, the ordinary users don't know well the complex formal query language and schema of the knowledge base. So, the system should interpret the meaning of user's keywords. In this paper, we describe a user query interpretation system for the semantic retrieval of multimedia contents. Our system is ontological knowledge base-driven in the sense that the interpretation process is integrated into a unified structure around a knowledge base, which is built on domain ontologies.

Korea has recently entered a rapidly aging society. The problem of the elderly due to the aging society appears in various fields. Problems caused by cognitive deterioration as well as problems caused by physical weakness also cause many problems. Cognitive deterioration causes difficulties in the daily life of the elderly, which negatively affects the quality of life of the elderly. The purpose of this study is to conduct a user analysis for the development of financial education systems which can facilitate daily life activities of cognitively deprived elderly. Through this study, we develop representative elderly cases in which cognitive decline can occur and lay the foundations for the development of financial education contents based on them.

교육의 질이 향상됨과 동시에 학습 콘텐츠의 질 역시 향상되고 있고 어플리케이션, AI, AR 등 다양한 기술들과 접목된 다양한 교육 방식들이 존재하게 되었다. 이와 함께 스마트폰의 기술 발달과 보급률 증가에 따라 다양한 기술들과 접목된 교육용 어플리케이션들에 대한 접근 또한 쉬워지고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 유아의 학습 능력을 조사하여, 단어 학습에 있어 의미파악, 단어 인지, 바른 발음 지도 등을 길러 줄 수 있도록 AR 기술을 접목한 교육용 AR 어플리케이션을 설계하고 이를 구현하였다. 본 논문에서 개발한 어플리케이션은 유아의 인지와 학습 방법을 토대로 하여 바른 발음과 철자를 지도하고, 단어 학습에 있어 낱말이 가진 의미파악을 도와주며, 반복학 습을 통하여 단어를 인지하고 사용할 수 있도록 도와준다. 본 논문의 어플리케이션은 AR 기술을 융합하여 이미지만을 사용한 교육보다 쉽게 의미를 파악하는데 도움을 줄 수 있고 이에 따라 인지 능력도 상승시켜 줄 것이라 기대한다.

This paper proposes a new terrestrial 3DTV broadcasting standard specification based on synchronization with non-real-time contents in order to overcome quality limitations of the current 3DTV services that are arisen from the limited bandwidth of the legacy broadcasting channel. In the services using the proposed specification, one view sequence of a stereoscopic video content is delivered as a non-real-time content in idle time, and the other view sequence is transmitted in real time broadcasting signal, thereafter two sequences are synchronized in a receiver for display. Thus, it is possible to provide higher-quality stereoscopic video content services than the current 3DTV services. In order to realize these services, a new mechanism is required which enables synchronization between the data that are from different transmission media and time. Therefore, this paper suggests a solution by multiplexing the synchronization signals of non-real-time contents into broadcasting signals with real-time streams together. This solution can provide a accurate synchronization mechanism by minimum updates of legacy broadcasting systems while maintaining compatibility with legacy services.

The purpose of this study is to learn about the meaning and factors of gambling in one's life. Thus, it is to develop contents that help gamblers improve their quality of life by broadening their understanding of gambling. To this end, data from women who had experienced gambling and also quit gambling were collected and analyzed. What are the factors that deter gambling and gambling and what is the dynamics that lead to life? The research approach is a technical case study. The story and context of her life were in mind. The results of the matrix analysis were derived from 15 subcategories and 8 upper categories. The result was to adapt and cope within the mental and economic deficits and to survive survival. The researcher suggested that content development is necessary. It is necessary to develop counseling contents that can heal their pain, stress, and heartache and to help one parent's family's economic survival. It also suggested that the development of capacity-enhancing contents such as technical training to cope with social structural changes is necessary.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the casual relationship among social activity, leisure activity and subjective quality of life of the rural elderly. For this end, this study analyzed the differences of the factors by the demographic characteristics and the effects of the social activity and leisure activity on subjective quality of life of the rural elderly. The data was collected using structured questionnaires, and total 324 responses were used in the data analysis. According to the results of this study, the social activity, leisure activity and subjective quality of life was shown to the partially differences by the demographic characteristics. The social activity and leisure activity of the rural elderly had a positive effect on the satisfaction and expectation of life as the subjective quality of life. The religious activities and leisure activity had a positive effect on the satisfaction of life, and the leisure activity through hobbies had a positive effect on the expectation of life. The economic activity had a positive effect on the subjective economic satisfaction, expectation of living standard and municipal government. Also, the volunteer activity and pastime had a positive effect on the subjective health satisfaction. Finally, this study was discussed the theoretical and practical implications as well as the solution to the subjective quality of life of the rural elderly.

Purpose: This study aims to examine the effect of increased physical activity (PA) regarding health-related quality of life (QOL) and nutrition intake in hemodialysis patients. Methods: The research was quasi-experimental using pre-test and posttest design. The participants were 60 patients, 30 each in the experimental and control group. The program was up to eight weeks long and involved two kinds of aerobic exercises: intradialytic aerobic exercise to be performed thrice a week and walking for up to seven days a week. The 60 patients undergoing hemodialysis for end-stage renal disease underwent assessment of International Physical Activity Questionnaires (IPAQ), 24-hour diet recall and a 12-item short-form health survey (SF-12; physical component summary score(PCS) and mental component summary score(MCS)) before and after the exercise program. Nutrition intake was assessed using CAN-2.0. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, independent t-test, 𝑥2 test, and Mann-Whitney U test. Results: In the experimental group, PA post-test scores were also significantly higher than the pre-test scores and the levels of physical component summary score (PCS) in QOL were significantly improved post-test, but the scores on nutrient intake did not improve. The levels of PCS were significant correlations animal protein, manganese, selenium, and Vitamin C. Although there was no group effect, total calorie of nutrition intake was higher than the comparison group. Conclusion: Combined intradialytic exercise and walking was found to be effective on PA, and PCS in QOL. Therefore, the findings of the current study may provide an appropriate guidance for encouraging exercise by hemodialysis patient.
