Study on Combustion Gas Properties of a Fuel-Rich Gas Generator (연료 과농 가스발생기의 연소 가스 물성치에 관한 연구)

  • It is essential to predict thermodynamic properties of combustion gas with respect to a propellant mixture ratio for the development of a gas generator for a liquid rocket engine. The present study shows the temperature measurement of exit combustion gas as a function of a mixture ratio through the series of combustion tests of a fuel-rich gas generator with liquid oxygen and Jet A-1. The measurements of dynamic and static pressures, and combustion gas temperatures allowed the estimation of thermodynamic properties like a specific heat ratio, a gas constant, and a constant pressure specific heat of the combustion gas. The comparison of the experimental results with predictions made by interpolation parameters obtained from the modification of the chemical equilibrium code indicates that the interpolation method calibrated using the temperature measurements can be utilized as an effective tool for the initial design of a fuel-rich gas generator.

Shape Optimization of High Power Centrifugal Compressor Using Multi-Objective Optimal Method (다목적 최적화 기법을 이용한 고출력 원심압축기 형상 최적설계)

  • In this study, a method for optimal design of impeller and diffuser blades in the centrifugal compressor using response surface method (RSM) and multi-objective genetic algorithm (MOGA) was evaluated. A numerical simulation was conducted using ANSYS CFX with various values of impeller and diffuser parameters, which consist of leading edge (LE) angle, trailing edge (TE) angle, and blade thickness. Each of the parameters was divided into three levels. A total of 45 design points were planned using central composite design (CCD), which is one of the design of experiment (DOE) techniques. Response surfaces that were generated on the basis of the results of DOE were used to determine the optimal shape of impeller and diffuser blade. The entire process of optimization was conducted using ANSYS Design Xplorer (DX). Through the optimization, isentropic efficiency and pressure recovery coefficient, which are the main performance parameters of the centrifugal compressor, were increased by 0.3 and 5, respectively.

  • 영광 3/4호기 mid-loop 운전중 잔열제거(RHR) 기능 상실사고시 열수력적 현상을 최적 전산코드인 CATHARE2를 이용하여 해석하였다. 이러한 사고시 열수력적 현상은 일,이차측 냉각재 방출유로와 계통내 비응축성 가스의 거동에 의해 크게 영향을 받는다. 본 연구에서는 2개의 경우를 모의하였는데, 하나는 계통내 방출유로가 있는 경우이며 다른 하나는 방출유로가 없는 경우를 계산하였다. 이 때 사용된 가정은 다음과 같다. (가) 계통은 부분충수 운전 상태로 상부에 비응축성 가스나 증기로 가득 차 있다. (나) 증기발생기는 1대만이 이용 가능하고 이차측은 습식보관 상태이며, 보조급수는 공급되지 않고 이차측 압력은 대기압 상태이다 (다) 사고는 원자로 정지후 2일후 발생한다. 이와같은 조건하에서 사고시 계통 최대압력은 방출유로가 있는 경우 사고후 6,000 초에 0.27 MPa이며, 방출유로를 통한 유량은 총 2.4 kg/s이다. 이 방출유량을 외삽하여 계통수위가 고온관 바닦까지 도달하는데 걸린 시간은 사고후 약 5.67시간이다. 증기발생기 U-튜브를 통한 열전달에 의해 이차측 증기 발생으로 이차측 수위가 하락하면 증기발생기 reflux cooling은 제한을 받을 수 있다. 이 경우 이차측 수위가 U-튜브의 active 영역 상부까지 도달하는데 걸리는 시간은 사고후 약 10시간으로 계산되었다. 그러므로 이 경우 보조급수 공급 여유시간보다 노심 노출시간이 더 빨리 도달하여 노심을 손상시킨다. 사고시 수위지시계는 계통감압에 큰 영향을 주지 못하기 때문에 가능한 빨리 닫아 계통 inventory를 유지하는 것이 이차측 보조급수공급보다 우선한다.합한 설계방안으로 분석되었다.크다는 단점이 있다.TEX>$_2$O$_3$ 흡착제 제조시 TiO$_2$ 함량에 따른 Co$^{2+}$ 흡착량과 25$0^{\circ}C$의 고온에서 ZrO$_2$$Al_2$O$_3$의 표면에 생성된 코발트 화합물을 XPS와 EPMA로 부터 확인하였다.인을 명시적으로 설명할 수 있다. 둘째, 오류의 시발점을 정확히 포착하여 동기가 분명한 수정대책을 강구할 수 있다. 셋째, 음운 과 정의 분석 모델은 새로운 언어 학습시에 관련된 언어 상호간의 구조적 마찰을 설명해 줄 수 있다. 넷째, 불규칙적이며 종잡기 힘들고 단편적인 것으로만 보이던 중간언어도 일정한 체계 속에서 변화한다는 사실을 알 수 있다. 다섯째, 종전의 오류 분석에서는 지나치게 모국어의 영향만 강조하고 다른 요인들에 대해서는 다분히 추상적인 언급으로 끝났지만 이 분석을 통 해서 배경어, 목표어, 특히 중간규칙의 역할이 괄목할 만한 것임을 가시적으로 관찰할 수 있 다. 이와 같은 오류분석 방법은 학습자의 모국어 및 관련 외국어의 음운규칙만 알면 어느 학습대상 외국어에라도 적용할 수 있는 보편성을 지니는 것으로 사료된다.없다. 그렇다면 겹의문사를 [-wh]의리를 지 닌 의문사의 병렬로 분석할 수 없다. 예를 들어 누구누구를 [주구-이-ν가] [누구누구-이- ν가]로부터 생성되었다고 볼 수 없다. 그러므로 [-wh] 겹의문사는 복수 의미를 지닐 수 없 다. 그러면 단수 의미는 어떻게 생성되는가\

MOdel-based KERnel Testing (MOKERT) Framework (모델기반의 커널 테스팅 프레이뭐크)

  • Despite the growing need for customized operating system kernels for embedded devices, kernel development continues to suffer from insufficient reliability and high testing cost for several reasons such as the high complexity of the kernel code. To alleviate these difficulties, this study proposes the MOdel-based KERnel Testing (MOKERT) framework for detection of concurrency bugs in the kernel. MOKERT translates a given C program into a corresponding Promela model, and then tries to find a counter example with regard to a given requirement property, If found, MOKERT executes that counter example on the real kernel code to check whether the counter example is a false alarm or not, The MOKERT framework was applied to the Linux proc file system and confirmed that the bug reported in a ChangeLog actually caused a data race problem, In addition, a new data race bug in the Linux proc file system was found, which causes kernel panic.

  • The Monte Carlo based dose calculation program for stereotactic body radiotherapy was developed in this study. The Geant4 toolkit widely used in the radiotherapy was used for this study. The photon energy spectrum of the medical linac studied in the previous research was applied for the patient dose calculations. The geometry of the radiation fields defined by multi-leaf collimators were taken into account in the PrimaryGeneratorAction class of the Geant4 code. The total of 8 fields were demonstrated in the patient dose calculations, where rotation matrix as a function of gantry angle was used for the determination of the source positions. The DicomHandler class converted the binary file format of the DICOM data containing the matrix number, pixel size, endian type, HU number, bit size, padding value and high bits order to the ASCII file format. The patient phantom was constructed using the converted ASCII file. The EGSnrc code was used to compare the calculation efficiency of the material data.

  • The radionuclide inventory prediction of a nuclear power plant can help establish decommissioning plan by providing information of radiation environment. Accumulated radionuclides in reactors and related facilities after reactor shutdown can be divided into neutron activated materials and contaminated materials. Among the neutron activated radionuclides, $^{36}Cl$ and $^{41}Ca$ are important from the viewpoint of disposal because of its long half-life and physiochemical characteristics. In this research, we calculated the radionuclides of $^{36}Cl$ and $^{41}Ca$ in bioshielding concrete by estimating the neutron flux and cross section using the MCNPX. And we evaluated the inventories of $^{36}Cl$ and $^{41}Ca$ using the activation calculation code ORIGEN2.

A Design of Parallel Turbo Decoder based on Double Flow Method Using Even-Odd Cross Mapping (짝·홀 교차 사상을 이용한 Double Flow 기법 기반 병렬 터보 복호기 설계)

  • The turbo code, an error correction code, needs a long decoding time since the same decoding process must be repeated several times in order to obtain a good BER performance. Thus, parallel processing may be used to reduce the decoding time, in which case there may be a memory contention that requires additional buffers. The QPP interleaving has been proposed to avoid such case, but there is still a possibility of memory contention when a decoder is constructed using the so-called double flow technique. In this paper, we propose an even-odd cross mapping technique to avoid memory conflicts even in decoding using the double-flow technique. This method uses the address generation characteristic of the QPP interleaving and can be used to implement the interleaving circuit between the decoding blocks and the LLR memory blocks. When the decoder implemented by applying the double flow and the proposed methods is compared with the decoder by the conventional MDF techniques, the decoding time is reduced by up to 32% with the total area increase by 8%.

A Design and Implementation of HTML Filter for Wireless Internet Service (무선 인터넷 서비스를 위한 HTML Filter의 설계 및 개발)

  • In this paper, we propose a design and implementation of HTML Filter to provide wireless internet service efficiently. The HTML Filter translates the Web documents written by HTML into the WML documents for portable wireless equipments automatically that are suitable for the WAP environment. The HTML Filter consists of "the HTML lexical analyzer" which gathers HTML source into token units, "the HTML syntax analyzer" which takes the lexical units from the lexical analyzer and analyses grammar for the source, "the HTML abstract parser tree" which can represent meaning of HTML sources more effectively called an intermediate code, and "the target code generator" which can convert the abstract parser tree into WML documents. The proposed translating method using ordinary compiler technology provides more easy and effective than the existing converters, and will be applied to other wireless language translating methods on wireless internet.

  • This paper is to describe how to refer to software objects and reuse them through the web browser so that ail the members of the software development team can collaborate with each other on the development procedure, In addition, we describe how to convert the $ ^*$,mdl design information generated from the UML editor into their corresponding XML data, which is arranged to be saved in the relational database system. Furthermore, we provide a facet retrieval system based on which makes use of a object-oriented thesaurus, which supports an integrated environment through which all the project team members can share a lot of source codes and execution files as weil as object files produced from the web-based collaborative development environment. Finally, we have designed and implemented a web version management system that facilitates software developers to manage in their web-based search for the relationship of design informations.

  • This paper describes how to convert the *.mdl design information generated from the UML editor into the corresponding XML data, which is arranged to be saved in the relational database system. Also, various design informations can be referred and modified to make teams collaborate with each other on the web through the web browser. In addition, we provide an environment in which all the project team members can share a lot of source codes and execution files as well as object files produced from a web-based collaborative development environment. This thesis is the study about a navigation tool system that aids software developers in managing their web-based searches for relationships of design information.
