A Study of Performance Advanced Technique of the OFP on Multi-Core (멀티 코어 기반의 OFP 성능 향상 기법 연구)

  • In this paper, I present the design of Operational Flight Programs(OFPs) on a Multi-Core based Mission Computer(MC) for the optimized performance of the OFPs on Multi-Core based MC. The program assigned as tasks on Multi-Core environment can be scheduled by designing with the use of OpenMp, which is the standard for parallel programming. This paper also describes the differences between Multi-Core Program(MCP) on the technique and Single-Core Program(SCP) in terms of performance aspect. The new proposed design technique is applied to the Integrated Up-Front Control OFP(IUFC OFP) on General Processor Module where Multi-Core based. This paper describes the Multi-Core design technique for the optimized performance of the IUFC OFP, which display and control flight data(Navigation, Communication, Identification Friend or Foe) to pilot.

A Study on Comparative Amount of Idea Thinking between Brainstorming and Webstorming (브레인스토밍과 WebStorming의 아이디어 발상량(發想量) 비교 연구)

  • To develop a creative design concept, amount of idea thinking between team members is important. In the process of planning to proposal brainstorming helps clarification of problems and allows a creative solution. Here, idea generation is to express thinking into words, and greater amount of idea is more valued than to choose one fine idea at first. This paper studies actual processes of brainstorming, and we utilize network services upgraded in Web and multimedia techniques to develop idea with arrangement. We compare the amount of idea generation by groups and topics with Brainwriting and Braindrawing of Webstorming, without limitation of space and time. Then, we propose a creative idea thinking by analyzing the characteristics of design team members in various aspects. This result will contribute in improving national potential value and design competitiveness by the help of design and IT, on product research and marketing.

Dragon-MAC: Securing Wireless Sensor Network with Authenticated Encryption (Dragon-MAC: 인증 암호를 이용한 효율적인 무선센서네크워크 보안)

  • In order to combat the security threats that sensor networks are exposed to, a cryptography protocol is implemented at sensor nodes for point-to-point encryption between nodes. Given that nodes have limited resources, symmetric cryptography that is proven to be efficient for low power devices is implemented. Data protection is integrated into a sensor's packet by the means of symmetric encryption with the Dragon stream cipher and incorporating the newly designed Dragon-MAC Message Authentication Code. The proposed algorithm was designed to employ some of the data already computed by the underlying Dragon stream cipher for the purpose of minimizing the computational cost of the operations required by the MAC algorithm. In view that Dragon is a word based stream cipher with a fast key stream generation, it is very suitable for a constrained environment. Our protocol regarded the entity authentication and message authentication through the implementation of authenticated encryption scheme in wireless sensor nodes.

  • As a Creative Director one is always looking forward to formative elements of new design. The fractal image that is generated by a computer program instead of by hand suggests a geometric pattern that can grafted into a new design for each field. In this paper we look for information about the creation of a Mandelbrot fractal image that is being utilized in the design of various sectors like textile design, architectural design, exhibition design from pure painting by convergence of both technology and art composites. And it analyses about forms based on the formative principle of creation images.

An applied method of mathematical model in the product design process (수학적 Model의 제품 디자인 과정에의 응용방법)

  • This study aims to promote understanding level for mathematical model, to improve methods and necessity of application in the process of product design and also to promote approaching and applying methods as a guideline for beginners. For the procedure and method of study first, it was emphasized by linking method and necessity of scientific analysis and a quality of product design and design process. Next, the corresponding relations between mathematical model and design probelem was desciebed, the mathematical model was examinated appeying process of product design. Lastly, approaching and applying methods for beginners was presented based on the discribed studied contents. As the result of the study, some points are by a result or problem : frist, the point that mathematical model is useful to grasp the design problems which various elements are complicately involved quantitatively and structurally, and its necessity can be especially utilized as a tool to justify and convince the convince the conclusion of the designer himself to the persons concerned. Second, the point that in order to apply mathematical model to the design process skillfully, first of all, the substance of all mathematical models which can be applid, and it is not easy to command in perfect method without using computer. Third, the point that since there are many kindsof mathematical models used is mathematical modeland the models which can be applidied to solve design problems differ in accordance with the design types and design process, its applying method can be presented as one kind of standardization or concretely. Fourth the point that in case of approaching mathematical model for the first time, it can start to select model corresponding with design type by stage of design process bassed on understanding for some mathematical knowledge and computer program.

  • The primary concern here is to discover the what and how of the computer same development.   • 본 연구에서는 AI 인공지능을 활용한 통일신라 석탑 '경주 불국사 삼층석탑' 복원을 위해 석탑 3D모델링 과정에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 산성비로 부식되어 갈라진 더 이상 원본의 형태를 알아 볼 수 없는 현재 통일신라 석탑 형태를 3D모델링 작업을 통하여 AI로 하여금 원활한 교육이 실시 되도록 하는 것을 목표로한다. 본래 제작 되어있는 3D 모델링은 많은 버텍스와 페이스로 학습 데이터가 많아 실제 활용하기에 어려움을 가지고 있다. 때문에 적은 양의 버텍스와 페이스로 새로운 3D 모델링 제작에 대한 필요성에 대해 확인하였다. 본 연구는 그에 필요한 석탑 모델링 과정에 대해 서술한다. 이를 위해 본 논문은 석탑에 대한 구조를 살피고 모델링에 활용된 프로그램의 장단점과 분석을 도출하였다. 본 연구를 통해 석탑 복원에 필요한 3D모델링 프로그램 활용의 전망과 더불어 인공지능 AI의 한계점을 3D 모델링의 정확도와 세밀함을 통하여 타파하고자 하였다.

  • We call WBI the educational program of this new teaching method which uses the web system. The instruction in WBI settings can make students feel more excited and interested in learning activities because it combined various sorts of multimedia materials such as moving pictures, graphics, and sound.. The diverse learning contents of this program not only supplement student's needs but also stimulate their creativities and application abilities. Based on the internet web courseware, this paper attempts to suggest the new program. This design implements the text, image and sound by using Explorer 5.0 in HTML, Javascript, Photoshop 5.0, Flash 4.0, and finally Gif Construction.

Multimedia Extension Instructions and Optimal Many-core Processor Architecture Exploration for Portable Ultrasonic Image Processing (휴대용 초음파 영상처리를 위한 멀티미디어 확장 명령어 및 최적의 매니코어 프로세서 구조 탐색)

  • This paper proposes design space exploration methodology of many-core processors including multimedia specific instructions to support high-performance and low power ultrasound imaging for portable devices. To explore the impact of multimedia instructions, we compare programs using multimedia instructions and baseline programs with a same many-core processor in terms of execution time, energy efficiency, and area efficiency. Experimental results using a $256{\times}256$ ultrasound image indicate that programs using multimedia instructions achieve 3.16 times of execution time, 8.13 times of energy efficiency, and 3.16 times of area efficiency over the baseline programs, respectively. Likewise, programs using multimedia instructions outperform the baseline programs using a $240{\times}320$ image (2.16 times of execution time, 4.04 times of energy efficiency, 2.16 times of area efficiency) as well as using a $240{\times}400$ image (2.25 times of execution time, 4.34 times of energy efficiency, 2.25 times of area efficiency). In addition, we explore optimal PE architecture of many-core processors including multimedia instructions by varying the number of PEs and memory size.

  • We see that the Interactive Entertainment Industry on the internet has a great potential to grow in the 21st century. There will be many kinds of internet content. Internet contents can be classified with six categories such as identity, entertainment, learning, shopping, community. However, we see that shopping and community have a higher market share among the six. Recently, community has become more important in making an internet business sucessful, because it is valuable in creating virtual society in cyber space. A chatting program has been an effective means to form community. So we developed the animation graphic chatting program that functions to express an emotion effectively compared to the text chatting.
