Development of technique to detect weeds in paddy field using spectrophotometric analysis (분광특성 분석에 의한 논 잡초 검출법 개발)

  • 본 연구는 수도작에서 토양과 식물체의 분광반사특성과 영상처리를 이용한 기계시각 잡초검출 센서를 개발하기 위한 기초연구로서 분류하고자 하는 대상체들의 분광반사율을 조사하여 주요한 파장을 선정하고 선정된 파장을 이용한 판별분석을 통해 각 대상체에 대한 분류 정확도를 중심으로 잡초검출 가능성을 조사하기 위하여 수행하였으며, 실험으로부터 얻은 결론은 다음과 같다. 1. 토양과 식물체를 구분하는데 효과적인 파장은 마른 토양의 경우 680 nm, 배수 토양에 있어서는 810 nm로 선정하였고, 토양을 배제한 후 벼와 잡초를 구분하기에 효과적인 파장은 580, 680 nm로 선정하였다. 2. 토양과 식물체를 구분하기 위한 판별분석 결과 2가지 토양상태 모두 식물체와 완전히 구분 가능한 것으로 나타났다. 벼와 잡초를 구분하기 위한 실험에서, 벼는 98%의 분류정확도로 구분이 가능하였고, 잡초는 83%의 분류정확도로 구분이 되는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 차후 분광학적 원리를 이용한 센서를 제작할 때 본 연구에서 선택한 주요 파장과 판별함수를 이용하여 장치를 구성하고 알고리즘을 제작한다면 벼, 잡초, 토양을 효과적으로 구분이 가능할 것으로 판단되었다. 3. 컬러 CCD 카메라를 사용하는 경우에 있어 식물체와 토양을 구분하기 위해 3 종의 파장 중 630 nm 파장만의 이용을 고려하여 그 분류성능을 분석한 결과, 식물체와 토양은 소수의 관측치를 제외하고 완전히 구분이 가능했고, 벼와 잡초를 구분한 결과에서는 비교적 높은 분류능력을 가진 것으로 나타나 차후 컬러 CCD 카메라를 이용하여 장치를 구성하는데 좋은 기초가 될 것으로 판단된다. 배양체의 접종작업은 모든 배양실이 인력에 의존하였으며, 배양체를 배지와 분리하여 불필요한 부분을 제거하고 배양작물에 따라 생육정도를 2~3등급으로 구분하여 배양용기의 배지 위에 치상하는 과정으로 수행되었으며, 작업능률은 호접란의 경우 배양병에 25본을 접종하는데 시간당 6병, 심비디움은 원형 플라스크에 25본을 접종하는데 시간당 10병 정도였다. 바. 식물체의 대량증식에 사용되는 플라스크, 배양병, PE용기 등 배양용기의 세척작업은 농원의 1개배양실에서 간이식 세척기, 이 외의 9개배양실은 모두 물에 담겨 두었다가 세제와 브러쉬 등을 사용하여 인력으로 세척하고 있어 생력화 기술개발이 요구되었다.도가 빠를수록 건조속도가 빨라졌으며, 건조에너지도 1,334kcal/kg.water로 비슷하게 소요되었다. 마. 시험구와 대비구의 건감률은 시험구에서 1.08~1.36w.b./h로 나타나 대비구보다 약 9.9~18.3%가 높게 나타났고, 건조에너지는 10.2~14.6%가 절감되었다. 발아율은 열풍온도가 낮을수록 높게 나타났고 시험구가 대비구보다 발아율이 낮게 나타났으며, 동할률 증가량도 원적외선.열풍 복합건조방법이 높게 나타나 이것은 곡물 표면에 원적외선 방사에의한 복사열이 전달되어 열장해를 받았기 때문으로 판단되며, 금후 더 연구하여 적정 열풍온도 및 방사체 크기를 구명해야 할 것이다.으로 보여진다 따라서 옻나무 유래 F는 포유동물의 생식기능에 중요하게 작용하는 것으로 사료된다.된다.정량 분석한 결과이다. 시편의 조성은 33.6 at% U, 66.4 at% O의 결과를 얻었다. 산화물 핵연료의 표면 관찰 및 정량 분석 시험시 시편 표면을

A study on the type of navigation interface design for information search in e-commerce (이커머스에서 정보 탐색을 위한 네비게이션 인터페이스 디자인 유형 연구)

  • In this study, information search methods and user interface types provided to users were investigated for the top 100 e-commerce services selected by Statista and the National Retail Federation. And the characteristics of each type were derived by analyzing the interaction method of the user's manipulation with the visualization elements constituting the interface. The research results are as follows. First, as the information provision method, spread format was more often used as the number and hierarchy of information increased, and drop-down and mega menu methods were used more often as the number and hierarchy of information decreased. Second, as a visual classification method according to the information hierarchy, the background color, font change, and line were often used, and there were many cases where the background color and line were used at the same time. Third, there were various elements such as background color, text color, and line as an interaction method for user manipulation, and two or more of them were applied at the same time the most. This study is meaningful in that it defines the characteristics of each type through the analysis of the types of interfaces for e-commerce information search and items that can be the selection criteria for detailed elements.

  • Various customizing services are also being introduced in the fashion industry in line with the diversification of consumer tastes and the demand for small production of multiple varieties. However, barriers to entry are high for consumers who are not customized, and various functions are rather complicated. This study selected the three platforms that provide the most similar services to Marple, the No. 1 fashion platform sales, as comparative models and used them as a basic study for web-based fashion customization platform design through case analysis. As a research method, theoretical examinations were conducted through literature surveys, followed by web analysis based on layout, menu, color, icon, and interaction. The study found that the placement of options, the composition of menu windows, the number of point colors, and the use of icons without functions of metaphores hindered the use of customizing platforms. This work proposes a solution, and aims to contribute to increasing the usability of future customizing web by comprehensively analyzing the visual shaping elements of web platform design.

  • The natural dyes from Gardenia jasminoides, Carthamus tinctorius L., Rhus javanica, Lithospermum erythrorhizon, Caesalpinia sappan L., and Castanea crenata were extracted under different pH in distilled water, As the pH in distilled water went from acid to alkali, the much deeper colors in the same color tone were generated from the individual plant species. Before dyeing, wood species were treated by different mordants including AI, Cu, Cr and Fe for color-fixing between wood and the natural dyes. Each mordant could develop independent color on the surface of the woods. The wood species dyed by the natural dyes created deep-tone colors according to higher pH and temperature of the dyeing solution, leading to deeper penetration of the dyes into the wood tissues. Finally through the computer modelling of natural-dyed wood furniture, it was confirmed that the colored furniture can adequately be compatible with the current interior spaces of diverse colors.

Visual Expression Effect by Digitization of Embroidery Design (자수 디자인의 디지털화에 의한 시각적 표현효과)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide basic information about various methods to easily affix unique embroidery effects to clothes due to the current expansion of digital fashion technology. A comparison of design techniques using virtual and real clothing was used to show the visual expression of embroidery designs. Actual embroidery motifs were created using a computer embroidery machine, DTP embroidery motifs were made by utilizing digitalization techniques, and digital motifs were produced. Then patch pocket type T-shirts were produced using each embroidery technique to compare the visual expression effects on clothing. The results of this comparison are as follows: for real clothing color (3.5), texture (4.0), gloss (3.8), and thickness (3.5). It was found that the color and thickness of the embroidery floss was visually sufficiently show the design texture and gloss. In terms of the embroidery design on virtual garments, the resutls of color (3.8), texture (4.3), gloss (3.9), and thickness (3.6) showed a high degree of similarity to the non-virtual results, confirming that digitized embroidery motifs are also a tool that can fully realize unique embroidery effect.

Reading the Landscape through the Perception of Residents of Banwol and Bakji Island - Based on the Change before and after the Purple Island - (반월·박지도 주민의 인식과 태도를 통해 경관 읽기 - 퍼플섬(Purple Islands) 사업 전후의 변화를 중심으로 -)

  • As of 2019, for the 'Island I Want to Visit' project, Banwol and Bakji Islands, located in Shinan-gun, started color marketing to create a tourist attraction by painting roofs, buildings, and facilities purple. As this landscape change was evaluated as a 'dangerous but beautiful attempt,' it was recognized as the 'World's Best Tourism Village' in 2021, drawing attention from domestic and foreign tourists. However, the residents of the islands, who created and enjoy the benefits of the landscape, were alienated from the planning stage. This study investigated the meanings and symbols of residents' perceptions of the purple landscape. The cultural landscape frame of new cultural geography, which interprets the landscape's symbolic meaning and ideological signs, was utilized. In addition, a holistic approach was applied to understand the residents' perceptions of the multi-layered environment. Therefore, the perception of purple, the main color of the islands, the overall landscape and individual places, and the general perception of the Purple Island project were investigated. After the Purple Islands Project, the main senses for recognizing the villages focused on sight, and the residents were satisfied with the purple landscape as it improved the underdeveloped village environment. This satisfaction was based on lessening the negative memories experienced as an island rather than a value judgment on the purple color. In addition, the perception of the symbolic landscape, which has a social and universal system, has been subdivided and reorganized, including for tourism functions. It can be understood as an aspect of the spectacle landscape that appears in cosmopolitanism. However, in the process of transforming into a tourist attraction, it was discovered that the residents recognize the value of local resources and create a new cultural landscape. In addition, the perception of the relationship between Banwol and Bakji has also changed around tourism.

Skin Region Detection Using Histogram Approximation Based Mean Shift Algorithm (Mean Shift 알고리즘 기반의 히스토그램 근사화를 이용한 피부 영역 검출)

  • At existing skin detection methods using skin color information defined based on the prior knowldege, threshold value to be used at the stage of dividing the backround and the skin region was decided on a subjective point of view through experiments. Also, threshold value was selected in a passive manner according to their background and illumination environments in these existing methods. These existing methods displayed a drawback in that their performance was fully influenced by the threshold value estimated through repetitive experiments. To overcome the drawback of existing methods, this paper propose a skin region detection method using a histogram approximation based on the mean shift algorithm. The proposed method is to divide the background region and the skin region by using the mean shift method at the histogram of the skin-map of the input image generated by the comparison of the similarity with the standard skin color at the CbCr color space and actively finding the maximum value converged by brightness level. Since the histogram has a form of discontinuous function accumulated according to the brightness value of the pixel, it gets approximated as a Gaussian Mixture Model (GMM) using the Bezier Curve method. Thus, the proposed method detects the skin region by using the mean shift method and actively finding the maximum value which eventually becomes the dividing point, not by using the manually selected threshold value unlike other existing methods. This method detects the skin region high performance effectively through experiments.

Wire Recognition on the Chip Photo based on Histogram (칩 사진 상의 와이어 인식 방법)

  • Wire recognition is one of the important tasks in chip reverse engineering since connectivity comes from wires. Recognized wires are used to recover logical or functional representation of the corresponding circuit. Though manual recognition provides accurate results, it becomes impossible, as the number of wires is more than hundreds of thousands. Wires on a chip usually have specific intensity or color characteristics since they are made of specific materials. This paper proposes two stage wire recognition scheme; image binarization and then the process of determining whether regions in binary image are wires or not. We employ existing techniques for two processes. Since the second process requires the characteristics of wires, the users needs to select the typical wire region in the given image. The histogram characteristic of the selected region is used in calculating histogram similarity between the typical wire region and the other regions. The first experiment is to select the most appropriate binarization scheme for the second process. The second experiment on the second process compares three proposed methods employing histogram similarity of grayscale or HSV color since there have not been proposed any wire recognition method comparable by experiment. The best method shows more than 98% of true positive rate for 25 test examples.

Visualization of Korean Speech Based on the Distance of Acoustic Features (음성특징의 거리에 기반한 한국어 발음의 시각화)

  • Korean language has the characteristics that the pronunciation of phoneme units such as vowels and consonants are fixed and the pronunciation associated with a notation does not change, so that foreign learners can approach rather easily Korean language. However, when one pronounces words, phrases, or sentences, the pronunciation changes in a manner of a wide variation and complexity at the boundaries of syllables, and the association of notation and pronunciation does not hold any more. Consequently, it is very difficult for foreign learners to study Korean standard pronunciations. Despite these difficulties, it is believed that systematic analysis of pronunciation errors for Korean words is possible according to the advantageous observations that the relationship between Korean notations and pronunciations can be described as a set of firm rules without exceptions unlike other languages including English. In this paper, we propose a visualization framework which shows the differences between standard pronunciations and erratic ones as quantitative measures on the computer screen. Previous researches only show color representation and 3D graphics of speech properties, or an animated view of changing shapes of lips and mouth cavity. Moreover, the features used in the analysis are only point data such as the average of a speech range. In this study, we propose a method which can directly use the time-series data instead of using summary or distorted data. This was realized by using the deep learning-based technique which combines Self-organizing map, variational autoencoder model, and Markov model, and we achieved a superior performance enhancement compared to the method using the point-based data.

Speech Visualization of Korean Vowels Based on the Distances Among Acoustic Features (음성특징의 거리 개념에 기반한 한국어 모음 음성의 시각화)

  • It is quite useful to represent speeches visually for learners who study foreign languages as well as the hearing impaired who cannot directly hear speeches, and a number of researches have been presented in the literature. They remain, however, at the level of representing the characteristics of speeches using colors or showing the changing shape of lips and mouth using the animation-based representation. As a result of such approaches, those methods cannot tell the users how far their pronunciations are away from the standard ones, and moreover they make it technically difficult to develop such a system in which users can correct their pronunciation in an interactive manner. In order to address these kind of drawbacks, this paper proposes a speech visualization model based on the relative distance between the user's speech and the standard one, furthermore suggests actual implementation directions by applying the proposed model to the visualization of Korean vowels. The method extract three formants F1, F2, and F3 from speech signals and feed them into the Kohonen's SOM to map the results into 2-D screen and represent each speech as a pint on the screen. We have presented a real system implemented using the open source formant analysis software on the speech of a Korean instructor and several foreign students studying Korean language, in which the user interface was built using the Javascript for the screen display.
