As RFID/USN has appeared as one aspect of the latest trend in Convergence rapidly spreading over the society, the use and the applied service of RFID/USN are expected to be diverse. USN begins by the technological means to providing the new type of service, and provides the customers with the factors in various type of its application to satisfy their desire. This thesis suggests a forecast model of the u-Distribution with expecting the new change of the new generation of distribution by using RFID/USN, which is initiatively introduced into this area. For the suggestion of the forecast model, the way of planning of it will be discussed by examining the necessity of the model. Also, the systematic and technical parts of the new forecast model will be schematized.

디지털 컨버전스의 대표주자로서 전자 통신 업계의 첨단 아이템으로 부상하고 있는 홈 네트워크 기술은 가정 내의 전자기기가 네트워크로 구성되어 장치나 시간, 장소에 구애 받지 않고 사용자에게 다양한 서비스를 제공하는 기술이다. 이러한 기술 중의 디지털 엔터테인먼트 분야의 멀티미디어 영상 스트리밍 기술의 발전을 위해 홈 네트워크상에서의 미디어 스트리밍 서비스 제공시 사용자의 장치 간 이동성을 인식하고 무선 환경에서의 QoS를 지원하는 유무선 스트리밍 시스템을 구현하여 스트리밍 서비스를 받고 있는 사용자의 장치간 이동이 발생 하더라도 영상의 계속적인 재생이 가능하도록 하였으며, 무선 네트워크상의 스트리밍 영상 재생 시 대역폭 측정을 통해 효율적인 미디어 영상 전송이 가능하도록 하는 유무선 스트리밍 시스템을 구현 하였다.

최근 미디어 간 컨버전스가 가속화되면서 그 사이를 흐르는 콘텐츠 유형이 방송과 인터넷 양쪽을 충족시키고 또한 모바일 환경에 최적화된 서비스를 위해 클립화 되어 가고 있다. 다수의 미디어 콘텐츠를 공급하는 방송사의 입장에서는 콘텐츠서비스를 위한 콘텐츠 관리방안이 중요한 이슈가 되고 있으며 ID, 메타데이터 등 관리를 위한 체계를 잡는 것의 중요성도 증대되고 있으며 또한 분절된 동영상을 어떻게 만들고 어떻게 서비스 할것인가도 중요한 이슈이다. 이번연구는 대표적인 방송용 콘텐츠 메타데이터 표준인 EBU Core, PB Core와 우리나라 KBS 메타데이터의 분절형동영상 관련하여 메타데이터 구조를 파악하고 어떻게 구성되어 있는지 비교분석하여 보았다. 분석결과 메타데이터가 근간을 이루는 기본구조는 거의 유사하였고 각각 관점의 차이에 따라 추가되는 항목이 존재함을 발견할 수 있었다. 그리고 최근 미디어 환경변화에 따라 분절형동영상을 표현하는 메타데이터 항목에 대한 개선방향을 몇가지 제안하였다.

텔레매틱스 단말은 운전자와 차량, 차량과 차량 외부의 정보들과의 접점으로 관련 산업과의 컨버전스가 급속히 진행되고 있으며, 다양한 서비스에 대한 요구 역시 점차 증가하고 있다. 이에 따라 다양한 첨단 기술들이 단말에 도입되고 있다. 텔레매틱스 단말 기술은 서버로부터 다양한 통신 수단을 통해 가동되어 전달되는 각종 서비스 정보 및 응용 소프트웨어를 사용자에게 제공하기 위한 차량내 하드웨어 및 소프트웨어환경에 관련된 기술이다. 텔레매틱스 단말시장은 완성차량의 적용에 따라 비포마켓용과 애프터마켓용으로 나누어 출시되고 있으며, 텔레매틱스 시장의 기대감으로 인해 다양한 단말기와 대중화된 단말시장이 형성될 전망이다. 본 고에서는 이러한 차량내 텔레매틱스 서비스를 제공하기 위한 텔레매틱스 단말에 대한 국내외 단말기의 기능 및 업체 시장 동향과 텔레매틱스 단말에 적용되는 관련기술에 대하여 알아본다.

디지털 컨버전스는 IT산업 내에서 기기 및 네트워크간의 융합을 중심으로 전개되어 왔으나 최근에 와서는 IT의 활용 범위가 보다 확대되면서 타 산업 기술과의 접목이 활발히 전개되고 있다. 기기 또는 네트워크간의 통합이나 동일산업 내의 서비스 통합에서 벗어나, 의료, 자동차, 건설 등 다양한 산업과 IT산업이 결합되는 이종산업간 융합이 진행 중이다. 특히 최근에 와서는 오래된 역사를 갖는 건설 분야와 반세기 동안 비약적인 발전을 이룩한 IT 분야가 서로 융 복합되어 새로운 형태의 서비스를 탄생시키고 있다. 건설-IT 기술의 융 복합을 통해서 서비스가 고도화가 되고, 지능화 되고 있으나, 이런 편리함에 비례하여 보안적인 문제들이 많이 생겨나고 있다. 본 고에서는 건설분야 IT기술 적용 현황에 대해서 분석하고 건설-IT 융 복합 환경에서 발생되는 보안적인 취약점 및 이슈사항을 분석을 통해 건설-IT 융 복합 기술이 나아가야할 방향을 모색하고자 한다.

In this study, in light of the reality that the need for systematic development of military service resource management and alternative service discipline / switching service discipline has been discussed for illegal liquidation of military service obligations (Tekketsu) in connection with the military service system, and pluralistic it is assumed judgment if centralized military manpower administration (MMA) the recruitment structure that is, military service resource management that to effectively manage. It is determined that it can improve the precision, thereby increasing and the resource-specific Service Discipline instruction, fairness to ensure consistency in the resource management of Alternate Service Discipline / Switching Service Discipline among, high quality and accessibility of such people petition I thought there may be a service provider is realized, that centralization of MMA is also realized, trying to allo improved fairness associated with the performance of military service obligation. Therefore, in this study, we are exploring a scheme that is able to achieve the unification of the human resource management of military service entity to perform the duty of national defense.

오디오와 음성 압축 기술적 근간은 서로 다르지만, 최근의 모바일 멀티미디어 기기 시장의 컨버전스 현상에 따라 압축하고자 하는 신호가 혼용되고 있으며, 비슷한 목표 전송률과 음질로 수렴하고 있다. 현재는 동일 기기에서 서로 다른 압축 기술을 적용하고 있으나, 음성과 음악이 동시에 서비스 되는 멀티미디어 기기에서는 단일 압축 방식으로 처리하고자 하는 이슈가 부각되고 있다. 특히, 스마트 폰 및 음악 콘텐츠 포탈 서비스의 대중화를 고려할 때, 음성 및 음악 신호 모두를 효율적으로 압축하는 음악 및 음성 신호의 융합 압축 기술이 더욱 필요해 보인다. 본 고에서는 MPEG 오디오 그룹에서 가장 최근 진행한 Unified Speech and Audio Coding(USAC)의 탄생 배경 및 표준화 현황을 소개한다. USAC는 64kbps 이하에서 기술적으로 최고 성능을 지닌 AMR-WB+ 및 HE-AAC v2보다도 우월한 음질을 보이며, 높은 비트율에서도 동등한 음질을 보장한다. 이런 우수한 음질에 기여한 USAC의 스위칭 구조와 더불어 기술적으로 향상된 주요 모듈인 파라미터 기반 스테레오 및 고주파 압축, 그리고 엔트로피 코딩 방식에 대해서 살펴 본다. 향후, 다양한 오디오 신호를 효율적으로 압축하는 USAC는 디지털 라디오, 모바일 TV, 그리고 오디오 북과 같은 사용자 시나리오에서 사용될 확률이 높아 보인다. 또한, USAC는 배경 잡음이나 배경 음악이 있는 경우에도 성능이 우수하기 때문에 YouTube 및 podcast 등과 같이 사용자가 콘텐츠를 생성할 때도 유용하게 사용 될 수 있다.

The industrial ecosystem around the Internet services has been evolving since the Internet was first introduced. The Net Neutrality issue best represents the process of the evolution and presents an inevitable challenge that the industry should overcome. This paper deals with this structural change with the Two-Sided Market framework and provides a System Dynamics(SD) model to evaluate the economic implications of the net neutrality policy. In particular, our approach analyzes the policy impacts when two competing platforms (network providers) play a role of the platform in a typical two-sided market, which connects Content Providers(CPs) with users. Previous studies show that the indirect network externality between these two markets makes the entire system tip to one platform. When the multi-homing in the CP market is allowed as in our model, however, their argument may lose its validity. To examine the system behavior, conducted here is SD simulations of our model. The simulation results show that co-existence of the competing platforms persists with the network effects over a certain threshold. The net neutrality policy seems to lower the threshold based on our experimental outcomes.

Convergence is an important concept for driving our society to be ubiquitous. The objectives of this paper are to conceptualize information convergence, and to analyze its mechanisms from the view of ubiquitous library circumstances. Further, this paper suggests mobile Web 2.0 as a library supporting technology for information convergence and some kinds of mobile based library user services using mobile Web 2.0 applications.

통신서비스 시장은 유무선 및 통신과 방송서비스의 컨버전스화가 진행됨에 따라 미래 시장에서의 경쟁구도에 관심이 집중되고 있다 최근 영국, 이탈리아 등 유립을 중심으로 지배적 사업자의 병목설비에 대한조직분리의 일환으로 기능분리가 활발하게 논의 및 도입되고 있다. 이 중 이탈리아는 TI에 대한 운영분리 수준의 구조규제를 기능분리 수준으로 강화하였다. 이는 운영분리와 같은 구조적인 조치에도 불구하고 TI의 지배력 유지, 경쟁 사업자들의 지속적 불만 제기 등의 문제가 해결되지 않은데다가 TI의 소유구조 변화에 따른 네트워크의 안정성 및 보안성에 대한 우려에 따른 것으로 해석되고 있다. 이탈리아의 기능분리는 동등접속을 위한 사업부로 Open Access의 설립, 신규 인센티브 제도, 각종 투명성 확보장치, 감독기관의 신설 등의 내용이 포함되어 있으며 근본적인 원칙은 영국의 경우와 유사하다. TI는 기능분리를 통해 규제기관과의 관계 개선, 소매시장 규제완화 등의 효과를 기대하고 있으며 2008년 2월 Open Access를 출범하였다.
