Experimental study on Static Behavior of H-beam prestressed with Multi-Stepwise TPSM (다단계 온도프리스트레싱 도입 강재보의 정적거동평가를 위한 실험적 연구)

  • In this study, static loading tests were performed on H-beam specimens to assess the static behavior of H-beam prestressed with multi-stepwise thermal prestressing method (TPSM). The amount of induced thermal prestress and connection type were differentiated among the 400-mm-high and 6,000-mm-long H-beam specimens to evaluate their effect on the behavior of the beams. From the experimental results, it between the H-beam and the cover-plate increased in yielding load by 13~18%, whereas stiffness increased by 27~34%. In case of specimens with both bolting and welding connection, yie lding load increased by 18~29% and stiffness increased by 43~51%. Multi-stepwise initial stress distribution was also observed from the prestressed specimens, verifying the effectiveness of the multi-stepwise TPSM. By application of the multi-stepwise TPSM, a significant increase in yielding load and stiffness can be achieved, hence increasing sectional and prestressing efficiencies.

An Advanced Watermarking Algorithm with Reversibility (개선된 가역 워터마킹 알고리즘)

  • In this paper, an efficient reversible watermarking algorithm is proposed. By using the proposed algorithm, it is possible to increase the amount of copyright-related information to be embedded in cover image. Depending on the spatial locality and surface characteristics, it is possible to precisely predict the pixel value using neighboring pixels. If the predicted pixel value almost the same as the pixel value of the cover image, the differential value between the predicted pixel value and the pixel value of cover image is very small. So, the frequency is increased greatly at the peak point of histogram of difference sequence. Thus, it is possible to increase greatly the amount of secret data to be embedded in cover image. The experimental results show that the proposed watermarking algorithm is superior to the previous algorithms.

  • The JavaScript engine is a module that receives JavaScript code as input and processes it, among many functions that are loaded into web browsers and display web pages. Many fuzzing test studies have been conducted as vulnerabilities in JavaScript engines could threaten the system security of end-users running JavaScript through browsers. Some of them have increased fuzzing efficiency by guiding test coverage in JavaScript engines, but no coverage guided fuzzing of optimized, dynamically generated machine code was attempted. Optimized JavaScript codes are difficult to perform sufficient iterative testing through fuzzing due to the function of runtime guards to free the code in the event of exceptional control flow. To solve these problems, this paper proposes a method of performing fuzzing tests on optimized machine code by avoiding deoptimization. In addition, we propose a method to measure the coverage of runtime-guards by the dynamic binary instrumentation and to guide increment of runtime-guard coverage. In our experiment, our method has outperformed the existing method at two measures: runtime coverage and iteration by time.

  • One of the most efficient ways to prevent the allergic symptoms due to house dust mite allergens is to cover up the bed with beddings which is weaved out of a certain kind of textile. Therefore, in this study, the effectiveness of specified cover was verified by measurement of decreased amount of dust and house dust mite allergens. As a result, use of specified cover didn't fully prevent exposure of house dust mite allergens. But there are decreasing effect of exposure of house dust mite allergens and amount of dust.

  • Kerberos authenticates clients using symmetric-key cryptography, and supposed to Oust other systems of the realm in distributed network environment. But, authentication and authorization are essential elements for the security. In this paper, we design an efficient and secure authentication/authorization mechanism by introducing the public/private-key and installing the proxy privilege server to Kerberos. In the proposed mechanism, to make a system more secure, the value of the session key is changed everytime using MAC(message authentication code) algorithm with the long-term key for user-authentication and a random number exchanged through the public key. Also, we reduce the number of keys by simplifying authentication steps. Proxy privilege server certifies privilege request of client and issues a privilege attribute certificate. Application server executes privilege request of client which is included a privilege attribute certificate. Also, a privilege attribute certificate is used in delegation. We design an efficient and secure authentication/authorization algorithm with Kerberos.

  • In this paper, we propose new cell structures using multi-hop Relay Station(RS) based on IEEE802.16j in Narrow-Beam Trisector Cell (NBTC) and Wide-Beam Trisector Cell (WBTC), which are two methods for cell sectorization using 3-sector directional antennas. Then, we analyze our proposed structures compared with the existing system which does not use any RS about the numbers of optimized Base Station (BS) and multi-hop relay, the extended BS coverage, and the deployment cost according to the traffic density using optimization model. According to the results, we know the reduction of total deployment cost of the proposed systems and that WBTC is suitable when the traffic density is high and NBTC is suitable when the traffic density is low in our proposed multi-hop based NBTC and WBTC structures.

유리 기판 위에 합성된 기능성 나노코팅의 코팅 방식에 따른 특성분석

  • 야외에 설치 운영되는 태양광발전 시설과 설비들은 여러 요인들로 인해 쉽게 오염이 되고 이로 인한 효율 저하 및 유지 비용증가로 인하여 경제성이 저하되는 문제점을 가지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 기능성 나노코팅을 이용한 태양광 묘듈의 표면 코팅으로 내오염 특성을 향상시켜 오염에 의한 태양광 발전효율과 유지비용의 절감에 대한 방안을 제시하였다. 기능성 나노코팅은 태양광 모듈 커버글라스와 재질이 같은 유리 기판위에 코팅하였고, 코팅 방식에 따른 변화를 실험하였고, 코팅 방식으로는 딥핑(dipping), 스프레이, 천, 브러쉬를 사용하여 수행하였다. 유리 기판 위에 합성된 기능성 나노코팅의 특성분석은 내오염 특성, 광투과도, 접촉각, 부착력을 수행하였고, 실험에 활용된 기능성 나노코팅이 유리 기판 표면 오염방지에 탁월한 효과를 가짐을 확인하였다.

Experimental Performance Comparison of Water Type Glazed and Unglazed PV-Thermal Combined Collectors (실험에 의한 Glazed형과 Unglazed형 액체식 PVT 집열기의 에너지성능 비교 분석 연구)

  • Photovoltaic-thermal(PVT) collectors are a combination of photovoltaic modules with solar thermal collectors, forming one device that receives solar radiation and produces electricity and heat simultaneously. The PVT collectors can produce more energy per unit surface area than side by side PV modules and solar thermal collectors. There are two types of water type PVT collectors, depending on the existence of glass cover over PV module; glass-covered(glazed) PVT module, which produces relatively more thermal energy but has lower electrical yield, and uncovered(unglazed) PVT module, which has relatively lower thermal energy with somewhat higher electrical performance. In this paper, the experimental performance of two types of the water-based PVT combined collectors, glazed and unglazed, was analyzed. The electrical and thermal performances of the PVT combined collectors were measured in outdoor conditions, and the results were compared.

  • 현재 무선 네트워크를 통한 패킷 데이터 서비스의 수요가 증가하고 있다. CDMA2000 이동통신망의 패킷데이터 서비스는 넓은 영역을 커버하는 대신에 비용이 높고 대역폭이 낮다. 반면에 802.11b 무선 LAN의 경우 작은 지역만을 커버할 수 있지만 대역폭이 크고 비용이 낮은 특성이 있다. 따라서 무선 LAN과 CDMA2000 이동통신망과 효율적으로 연동하여 사용한다면 많은 성과를 얻을 수 있다. 이에 본 논문은 기존 CDMA2000 이동통신망과 무선 LAN의 효율적인 연동을 통해서 끊김 없는 서비스를 받을 수 있는 이중모드 단말의 구현을 제안한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 이중모드 단말은 무선 네트워크의 상태를 파악하여 네트워크를 선택하고 자동으로 연결을 관리한다. 또한 끊김 없는 핸드오프를 위한 동작을 통해 사용자가 끊김 없는 데이터 서비스를 받을 수 있도록 한다.

  • 최근 주요 홈서비스 로봇 중 하나인 청소 로봇에 대한 수요가 증가하면서 주어진 공간을 효율적으로 처리하기 위한 높은 커버리지 성능이 주목받고 있다. 이에 따라 로봇의 커버리지 성능을 높이기 위하여 청소 로봇의 자율적인 운행을 통해 지도를 작성하고 이를 활용한 경로를 생성하여 로봇의 운행에 반영하였다. 하지만, 저가형 청소 로봇은 낮은 성능의 처리 성능을 가지고 있기 때문에 불가능하다. 이에 본 논문에서는 단순한 운행 기능만을 가지고 있는 청소 로봇의 이동 패턴을 유전 프로그래밍을 이용하여 최적의 운행 계획을 설계하는 기법을 제안한다. 또한 실험을 통해 제안 기법을 통해 생성된 이동 패턴이 기존 기법에 비해 높은 운행 효율성을 보장함을 확인 하였다.
