친환경 인증 제도를 통한 국내 초고층 주거건축의 친환경성 평가 연구 (A Study on the Environment-friendly Quality Evaluation of High-rise Residential Architecture in Korea by Environment-friendly Certification)

  • As horizontal expansion of a city reaches the uppermost limit, on the ground of perpendicular expansion and efficiency of land use, skyscrapers go on increasing in number. However, skyscrapers which were newly built in Korea have many problems such as consumption of enormous amounts of energy, destruction of natural environment, and traffic jam. And from now on, environment-friendly development of skyscraper is urgently needed. Therefore, in this study, we tried to find the planning elements and estimation indexes to improve the environment-friendly quality of high-rise residential architecture by investigating environment-friendly skyscraper certification in Korea and the other countries. For that reason, we investigated the application ratios of 10 cases in Korea. And the results showed that the application ratios of environment-friendly estimation indexes were lower than 50% and the environment-friendly quality of skyscrapers in Korea was generally low. Therefore, based on these planning elements and estimation indexes, we tried to establish the guideline of improvement direction for environment-friendly development of high-rise residential architecture in Korea.

  • Urban architecture density is getting higher, and this trend is expected to continue in the future. Therefore, skyscrapers are being brought into relief as future alternative architecture beyond symbolic meaning in the aspect of demand and supply of urban space. However, skyscrapers which were newly built have many problems such as consumption of enormous amounts of energy, destruction of natural environment, and traffic jam. For this reason, environment-friendly skyscrapers based on the concept such as Green Building and Green Skyscraper started to be built around the world. However, plans or evaluation standards, which take account of the environment-friendly aspect of skyscrapers, leave much to be desired. And especially it is hard to find environment-friendly skyscrapers. Therefore, this study aims to establish the concept of environment-friendly skyscrapers that has not properly been defined, and to find realistic planning methods and practical alternatives through the analysis of the works that have brilliant ideas about environment-friendly architectural method. From the perspective of architectural planning, we did case analysis focused on site planning, form planning, elevation and floor planning, and tried to give useful ideas for high-rise architectural planning in Korea by finding practical solution focused on the active use of natural energy, saving resources, the reduction of wastes, natural architectural environment design and natural friendly system from the view of environment-friendly technological analysis.

  • Current trend on sustainable tall building shows significant efforts on the integrated design approaches for the performative design to achieve efficient building for the energy, structural and materials. The design of tall buildings should take into consideration of environmental impact and economic benefits from sustainable approaches to ensure low energy consumption and CO2 emissions. Designing sustainable tall building require concerns and comprehensive understanding of sustainable building technology, sustainable rating system and supporting incentive policy. The research has been conducted on available rating system and the incentive policy for sustainable building design methodology through cases studies for this study. In the paper, author tried to emphasis the role of the incentive policy for the sustainable building and provides survey of the impact on rating, adaptable use of sustainable building technology on the current practice of tall building design.

현장탐방 - 강북지역 한강변 랜드마크로 주목받는 초고층 주거시설

  • 1970년대 고급 아파트촌의 대명사로 불리웠던 동부이촌동이 강북지역 한강변 초고층 주거시설의 랜드마크로 또한번 새롭게 변신한다. 지상 56층, 42층, 36층 총 3개동으로 구성된 초고층 주거시설이 오는 8월 1일부터 입주할 예정이기 때문이다. 이 아파트는 당분간 건립되기 힘든, 강북에서 가장 높은 초고층 주거시설로 지난 2013년 4월 서울시가 한강변 건축물 높이를 35층으로 제한하기 전인 2009년 사업시행 인가를 받았다. 한강이 내려다 보이고 인근에 국립중앙박물관, 용산가족공원, 한강공원 등 대형 공원이 있는데다 강남권, 강북권, 강서권으로의 접근성이 뛰어나 한강변의 새로운 랜드마크로 주목받고 있는 만큼 특화된 커뮤니티 시설과 함께 친환경 건축물 최우수 등급, 에너지효율 1등급, 초고속 정보통신 특등급 인증 획득을 목표로 최고의 주거성능등급 아파트 시공에 만전을 기하고 있다. 본지는 준공준비에 여념이 없는 이촌동 렉스아파트 재건축 현장에서 삼성물산 권진학 현장소장과 (주)우진아이엔에스(대표 홍평우 손광근) 김동원 현장소장을 만났다.

초고층 건물의 건축계획 및 친환경요소 분석 (An Analysis of Architectural Plan and Environment-friendly Elements of Skyscraper)

  • [Purpose] Recently, skyscrapers have sharply increased throughout the world, including South Korea. Although a skyscraper has its own merit such as the landmark of a city, it also has various problems like massive energy consumption. This study is aimed to establish the concept of environment-friendly skyscraper and propose a plan to realize skyscraper after analyzing the architectural, facility and environmental friendly elements of skyscrapers. [Method] This study lists up skyscrapers over 40 floors and 200 meters high. Upon 10 constructed buildings, it analyzes their basic plans and the green building technologies applied to them and suggests effective and environment-friendly architectural plan. [Result] This study examined the distinctions of the layout, shape, facade, and floor plan plane of 10 skyscrapers and found out specific techniques to be used for the use plan of natural energy, plan for saving resources and reducing wastes and a plan for environmental architecture and system.

초고층 시스템거푸집 공사의 태양광에너지 활용 방안 연구 (Photovoltaic Application in System Formwork Operations of High-rise Building Construction)

  • 최근 환경문제 해결 및 미래 성장동력 확보를 위해 전 산업 분야에 걸쳐 친환경 에너지의 활용이 지속적으로 이루어 지고 있다. 특히 설치장소의 제약이 없고 무한한 태양에너지를 활용한 태양광발전 산업에 관심이 집중되고 있으며, 건설산업에서도 건물통합형 태양광발전에 대한 연구와 사례적용이 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 하지만 최근 건축물의 초고층화는 시공단계에서의 에너지 소비를 크게 증가시키며, 이에 따라 시공단계에서의 친환경에너지 활용 방안에 관한 연구가 요구된다. 이에 본 연구에서는 초고층 거푸집 공사 전력공급을 위한 PV시스템(PVFS)을 제안하고 설계 및 적용타당성 분석을 수행함으로써, 건물시공 단계에서의 친환경 에너지 활용에 대한 가능성을 모색하였다. 사례연구를 통해 설계된 PVFS에 대한 설치면적 위치 확보 및 거푸집 허용하중 초과 여부, 공정영향, 경제성 검토를 수행하였으며, 그 결과 기술발전을 통한 경제성 문제가 해결된다면 가까운 미래에 현장 적용 가능성이 충분할 것으로 판단되었다. 본 연구결과는 시공현장에서의 친환경 에너지 적용 가능성을 제시함으로써 친환경에너지 접목을 통한 새로운 건축환경 구축에 기여할 것으로 판단된다.

  • After the concept of apartments was introduced in 1960s in Korea, on account of the development of architectural technology and science, high-rise residences in Korea are getting higher, and these residences have been becoming high-rise commercial/residential buildings since 1990. Nowadays, as the construction of high-rise commercial residential building complex is booming, the difference between these complex and high-rise apartments is getting smaller, and these two kind of high-rise residences are becoming new residential style in Korea. And these high-rise residences are considered the symbol of wealth owing to the marketing strategy emphasizing high quality, refined interior, a fair view, and the protection of privacy. However, high-rise residences bring about many problems related to health and psychology caused by the consumption of a large amount of energy, pollutant emission, the deterioration of the quality of indoor air, and vibration. For this reason, in this study, we tried to emphasize the necessity of environment-friendly access to provide healthy living environment and to reduce the negative effect of housing life in high-rise residences, and find the method to improve environment-friendly quality and health of residents in interior space. Therefore, this study aims to detect the problems and the items to be improved of interior spaces of high-rise residences by quantitative, qualitative analysis of the evaluation elements and the floor planning elements deduced from environment-friendly architectural certification in Korea and the other countries, and suggest the guideline to improve the environment-friendly quality of these interior spaces.

대형의료기관 건축물에 대한 저탄소 녹색 친환경 설계 방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on Design Method depending upon Low Carbon Green Architecture of Big Medical Center)

  • 최근 환경부의 조사결과에 의하면 대규모 종합병원 대학병원(58개소)의 실내 공기질이 유지기준을 초과한 것으로 나타났다. 내부 공기질은 물론, 병원 규모의 증가와 병원 건축물 대형화에 따른 친환경 건축물 설계와 저탄소 녹색 설계의 필요성이 절실히 요구되고 있는 상황이다. 특히 각 의료기관의 건축물에서 발생되는 이산화탄소, 발열, 쓰레기, 폐에너지, 발전소 배열, 하수열 등의 증가로 인해 병원 환자를 비롯한 병원 고객의 건강에 많은 문제점을 가져다주고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 대규모 의료 단지에 건설되는 각각의 건축물이 가지는 의료기관으로써의 특성을 고려한 저탄소 녹색 친환경 건축설계에 도입되어야 하는 기술 개발과 각 의료 건축물 간의 유기적 관계를 고려한 녹색 친환경 건축디자인 기술을 융합적으로 개발하는 것을 연구목표로 한다.

  • Recently due to the crisis of environment and resources, construction industry that effect a lot on nature than any other industries is essentially required to consider environmental element through the life cycle. Lots of advanced countries and Korea have already been running green building certification systems. However, GBCC(Green Building Certification Criteria) in Korea is lack of assessment criteria that apply environmental characteristics of tall building in compared with that in advanced countries. To improve the problem, we compared GBCC with LEED(Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) through the case study. This study provides preliminary data for reflecting environmental characteristics of tall building in GBCC.
