  • 친환경자동차의 고전압시스템에 대한 인체 감전 사고 예방을 위한 전기안전 평가요소는 절연성능 평가이다. 고전압시스템을 사용하는 자동차의 절연성능은 $100{\Omega}/Vdc$, $500{\Omega}/Vac$ 이상으로 규정하고 있으며, 평가방법은 UNECE WP.29의 GTR 등에서 여러 가지 방법을 제시하고 있지만, 실차에 대한 측정을 통하여 몇 가지 문제점이 도출되었다. 본 연구에서는 실차상태의 절연성능 평가의 문제점 분석을 통하여 In Use 상태와 Post Crash 상태의 실차에 대한 절연성능 평가 방법을 제시하였다.

Assessment of Energy Efficiency and Nutrient Balance in Organic Rice Farming Area (벼유기농업단지 에너지효율 및 양분수지 평가)

  • Energy efficiency and nutrient balance are good methods for environmental assessment of the environmentally-friendly agriculture. The objectives of this study were 1) to estimate the energy efficiency and nutrient balance of the organic rice farming, and 2) to suggest a solution to improvement the energy efficiency and nutrient balance. The set of estimation was performed at the organic rice farming area (8.9 ha) in Wanju-gun during the paddy cultivation period from 2006 to 2007. The organic farming complex consists of four weeding methods using 1) duck, 2) apple snail, 3) duck and apple snail and 4) hands and machinery. Results from this estimation should that the organic rice farming area was less efficient than conventional rice farming. The efficiency of organic farming area in 2006 was higher than in 2007. For the calculation of the nutrient balance, the N, P and K contents of input materials (cattle manure, milk vetch, mixed oilcake, rice bran, rice straw and barley straw) and output (farm products) were analysed. Annual environmental loads of N, $P_2O_5$ and $K_2O$ were estimated at 4.4 kg/10a, 13.8 kg/10a and 14.5 kg/10a, respectively. Cattle manure had the largest portion among the inputs items and nutrient concentration of cattle manure was high. Thus energy efficiency and nutrient balance depend on cattle manure input. Therefore it is necessary to control the manure input to improve the efficiency of organic rice farming.

Factors that Affect on the Necessity of Establishment of Eco-friendly Hospital (친환경 병원 도입필요성에 영향을 미치는 요인)

  • The purpose of this research study is to analyze the influence on the necessity of establishment of eco-friendly hospital by evaluating hospital employees' awareness and their satisfaction level of working environment. Questionnaire investigation was conducted in April 2014 throughout five different medium-size hospitals in Seoul, Gyeonggi and Chungcheongbuk provinces. 213 sets of survey were used to conduct Frequency Analysis, T-test, Dispersion Analysis(ANOVA) and Structural Equation Modeling Analysis. The research concluded that employees with higher level of education, working position and longer term of working experience were more aware about Eco-friendly hospital. In addition, male, doctor, and employees with higher level of education and working position were more satisfied with their working environment. And male, employees with higher level of education and working position were more aware about necessity of establishment of eco-friendly hospital. According to the Structural Equation Modeling Analysis, the awareness of Eco-friendly hospital and the satisfaction level of working environment were the varying factors that influence the necessity of establishment of Eco-friendly hospital. Therefore, it is crucial for hospitals that are preparing for establishing Eco-friendly hospital to raise employees' level of understanding of Eco-friendly hospital and their working environment satisfaction level.

  • High-rise residential complex type is getting important as new town development and urban regeneration in the downtown area. However, literature review of high-rise residential complex and research on satisfaction analysis of real residents are lack. Therefore, this paper is analyzing environmental friendly planning elements of high-rise building as housing subdivision, inside of building, facility, and maintenance by a survey on experts. The purpose of this paper is to suggest improvement method of environmental-friendly planning elements of high-rise residential complex by M-IPA. First, as a result, the part of housing subdivision has to keep complex land utilization, environmental-friendly transportation. Second, the part of inside of building shows that ecological housing subdivision, indoor air environment urgent and indoor temperature environment keeps maintaining. Finally, the part of facility/maintenance shows that material and facility, and index of energy management are urgently needed.

  • 우리나라에서는 그동안 급속한 경제발전과 함께 많은 SOC 건설공사가 이루어졌으나 환경성의 고려와 보존에는 미흡하였다. 그러나 경제가 발전되고 국민의 의식수준이 향상됨에 따라 환경에 대한 관심과 중요성이 높아졌으며, 친환경적인 건설의 요구가 증대되고 있다. 이러한 추세에 따라 친환경 건설을 위한 많은 연구와 노력들이 진행되고 있지만, 타 분야에 비해 정보화 및 전산화, 특히 GIS의 활용은 많이 미흡한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 초기 건설계획 및 설계분야에 최신 GIS 기술을 접목ㆍ활용함으로써 환경성이 고려된 국토개발을 지원하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 도로건설분야를 대상으로 하여 다양한 대안노선들의 환경성을 비교ㆍ검토하여 최적의 노선선정을 지원하고, 선정된 노선에 대하여 영향평가분석을 수행할 수 있도록 시범시스템을 개발하였다. 기존의 환경성 검토ㆍ평가방법이 종이도면과 서술적인 기술에 의지했던 반면, 본 시스템은 수치지도 및 위성영상을 활용한 다양한 GIS 공간분석결과를 2차원 또는 3차원적으로 디스플레이하여 객관성과 효율성을 향상시키면서 시각적 효과를 높여줄 수 있다는 장점이 있다.

Environmental Direct Payments and Water Emissions (친환경직불제에 따른 농작 선택과 수질오염)

  • Types of agricultural policy can be catagorized into two general cases: price and income supports. Income supports are any government program designed to provide farmers with higher incomes than they would receive otherwise. These direct cash payments to farmers are known as "deficiency payment" or "direct payment" because they compensate the farmer for the failure of the market to provide farmers with adequate prices. The direct payment to environment-friendly agriculture is a form of income supports for the agriculture production using less pesticides and chemical fertilizers. Because no significant regulation exists on the use of fertilizers substituting chemical fertilizers for crop, the role of the payment on reducing environmental impacts of agriculture is not entirely clear. This uncertainty is likely to be particularly severe in the case that farmers with low-quality land showing greater demand for fertiliser have an incentive to transition to environment-friendly agriculture. The paper shows the case of the current payment system in Korea.

Comparison of Environmental Impacts of Green and Traditional Buildings using Life Cycle Assessment (전과정평가(LCA)를 이용한 친환경 인증 건축물과 일반 건축물의 환경영향 비교 사례 연구)

  • This study aims to understand the environmental impact reduction of green buildings that are certified by Green standard for energy and environmental design(G-SEED). To ensure this end, this study assessed and compared the environmental impacts(global warning, ozone layer depletion, acidification, and eutrophication) of a G-SEED-certified elementary school building(green building) and an uncertified elementary school building(traditional building) using the life cycle assessment methodology. This study considered the environmental impacts from the material manufacturing, material transportation, on-site construction, and operation during 40 years. The comparison of the environmental impact intensity of two buildings showed that the green building generated much more environmental impacts than the traditional building. For example, the global warming potential of the green building was approximately 12.5% higher than of the traditional building since the global warming potential of the green building was 3.751 $t-CO_2eq./m^2$ while that of the traditional building was 3.282 $t-CO_2eq./m^2$. It signifies that the G-SEED doesn't guarantee the reduction of the environmental impacts in terms of four impact categories. Therefore, the G-SEED should be complemented and improved to achieve the environmental impact reduction.

  • Korea Government have carried out various policies to save the Earth environment from global warming and environmental pollution. It has also executed the Green Building Certification Criteria(GBCC) in 2002. The GBCC of office building was executed in 2003 and was revised twice in 2010 and 2011. Concerns about green building construction were quite increasing to keep the building performances sustainable. The aims of this paper is to check the reliability of weighting factors and scoring difficulties in all assessment categories of GBCC and to suggest the amendment direction of the future assessment criteria for green building. For the study, the old and new version of GBCC were examined to present the revision direction of GBCC and the 10 cases certificated by the old and new version, respectively 5 were analysed to compare with the difficulties in obtaining the certification. According to the results of the study, the GBCC requires additional amendments about the assessment categories of the energy consumption monitoring and the building commissioning as required subjects in order to secure the building performances. In addition, the operation mamagement of the building need to be assessed more intensively.

  • This paper aims to provide pragmatic application guidelines of the interior finish materials for apartment houses with newly-established evaluation methodology of the sustainable degree of interior products. With reference to the standards and criteria of domestic eco-labeling accreditation schemes for sustainable products in the area of architecture which focus on the sustainable elements classified as the health, recyclability, durability, and energy efficiency, in this study, a systematic evaluation method has been established for interior finish products with quantifiable indicators for sustainable performance. Base on the evaluation system introduced here, most interior finish products can be classified into a database and applied effectively to the realities from the perspective of the sustainability. There are the necessities of enforcement issues with the idea of revising or taking remedial measures of the current performance criteria of domestic eco-labeling accreditation to bolster their reliability. As well as already-commercialized products, hereafter, continued efforts are needed to control the whole process of manufacturing new interior finish products from their designing, constructing, consuming, recycling and to dismantling in terms of sustainability, which promises more pragmatic follow-up measures for the detail embodiment of the environment-friendly spaces.

  • 이미 알려진 바와 같이 차세대 차량에 채용될 동력 시스템의 연구개발이 배출가스 규제에 대한 배기 성능의 획기적 개선에 집중되고 있는 한편, 포괄적 친환경 차량 개발 또한 일반의 관심을 끌고 있다. 현재에 이르기까지 배출가스 규제치 즉, 대기로 배출되는 질소산화물(NOx), 입자상물질(Particulate Matter, PM) 및 미연탄화수소 등에 대한 정량적 규제치의 만족여부가 차량의 친환경 여부를 가리는 척도로 주로 인식되어 왔으나, 금후 보다 본격적으로 완성차량 조립을 위한 전 제품의 제조과정으로부터 차량 폐기까지를 총괄한 포괄적 환경 영향 평가가 필수 불가결한 요소로 등장하리라 예측된다.
