  • Attempts were made to investigate sterol components of Schizophyllum commune Fr. which is one of medicinal fungi and grows wildly in Korea. Its carpophores were collected in Mountain Gwanak and extracted with chloroform and methanol. A sterol was isolated and identified as ergosterol by TLC, GLC and chemical tests.

  • VLSI 셀 배치문제는 셀(노드)과 넷으로 구성된 회로를 최소의 비용과 제약조건을 만족하면서 칩 위에 배치하는 문제로 지금까지 여러가지 다양한 배치 알고리즘들이 제시되어왔다. 배치 알고리즘은 입력으로 회로정보를 받아서 결과를 숫자 데이터로 출력하기 때문에 알고리즘 개발자는 배치결과를 숫자 데이터로 분석할 수 밖에 없다. 이런 점에서 실험 결과에 대한 신뢰성 문제가 발생될 수 있는데 2003년 발표된 밴치마킹에 관한 논문[1]에 따르면 뛰어난 성능을 가진 대표적인 알고리즘들을 비교 분석한 결과 실제 최종 배치된 결과에서 셀들의 오버랩 현상과 균일하지 못한 배치 등 몇 가지 문제점들이 지적되었다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점들을 해결하기 위해 알고리즘 개발자가 실험 결과를 가시화해서 직접 확인하고 분석할 수 있는 가시화 도구를 제안한다. 또한 가시화 도구는 결과분석을 통해 보다 향상된 알고리즘 개발에 도움을 주는 것을 목적으로 한다.

A Study on the Age Role Norm of Skirt Length (치마길이의 연령규범에 관한 연구)

  • When age-role i-: being confused and fasion is as whimsical as these days, the norm on the length of the skirt can be a matter of controversy. This study aimed to see if there exists decisive norm on skirt lengths according to the age of feminine stimuli and the sex and age of perceiver. It also aimed to find out whether the norm of the individual perceiver is influenced by the assumed norm of generalized others. Questionnaire including linedrawings of feminine lower body was given out to be marked with age-proper length of skirt. Results revealed existence of certain length norms according to the age of the stimuli. Norms also varied according to the age of the perceiver and interaction effects among the age, sex of the perceiver and the age of the stimuli existed. Assumed norms of the generalized others were different from the actual norms of the individual. Interaction between the ages of the stimuli and perceiver affected the difference between the actural individual norm and the assumed norm of the generalized others.

  • This study examined the effectiveness degree of a protective apron that is taken not to be exposed to the first ray or scattered rays, for X-ray of thick subject like lateral lumbar, and the results are as follows; First, spatial dose by scattered rays is shielded by 3 mmPb protective apron, 86.8% at a distance of 50 cm, 92.7% at 100 cm, and 95.6% at 200 cm, when minimizing the field size, while 89% at a distance of 50 cm, 92.3% at 100 cm, and 95.2% at 200 cm, when maximizing the field size. Second, 1st exposure dose is shielded by 3 mmPb protective apron, 93.7% at a distance of 50 cm, 94.4% at 100 cm, and 93.6% at 200 cm, when minimizing the field size, while 93.7% at a distance of 50 cm, 93.6% at 100 cm, and 94.2% at 200 cm, when maximizing the field size.

주암댐 유역의 민요(民謠)(I)

  • 보성군에서 수집한 민요들의 의식·노동·유희요(謠) 별(別)로 정리하였다. 의식요(儀式謠)로는 걸메당·상여·독경(讀經)소리가 실렸다. 전래(傳來) 혼인식(式)에 있어서의 가마소리인 걸메당소리는 전국의 몇 곳에서만이 가창자가 남아 있는 희요(稀謠)이다. 상여소리(처음에 운구 들어 울릴때의 긴소리, 길 갈 때의 가난보살과 어가리넘자, 비탈길 오를 때의 나무아미타불, 달구소리)는 전남지방에 널리 전파되어 있는 것과 동계(同系)이다. 노동요(謠)는 주로 농요(農謠)<광의(廣義)>가 수집되었다. 소동패전갈을 수록하였다. 모심기곡(曲)은 공(共)히 일반 농부가 쪼임에 비하여 모찌기와 논매기곡(曲)(<표2>참조)은 다양성을 띄웠다. 산아지로고나곡(曲)은 전(全) 면(面)에 두루 퍼져 있으며 논맬 때, 장원질소리, 소동패노래에도 쓰인다. 산떨이(올라간다)는 고흥군의 것과 같다. 터 다지는 노래로는 얼럴럴 상사도야를, 상량노래로는 어유아 상량이야를 부른다. 줄메고 나가는 노래의 받음구는 위야허허 또는 상사뒤여뒤여(회촌면)이다. 유희요(謠)는 남사당의 덜미 (꼭두각시극)노래인 떼루와 제나난실을 싣고 그 위에 치마·줌치·사위·강도령·이노래 등을 실었다.

Development of Late Bolting and New Deep Red Leaf with Wrinkled Lettuce 'Chunpungjeokchukmyeon' (추대가 늦고 색깔이 진한 새로운 잎상추 '춘풍적축면' 육성)

  • A new cultivar of lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) with wrinkled traverse elliptic and deep red leaf, 'Chunpungjeokchukmyeon' which has late bolting and deep red expression leaf color was developed from a cross between 'Pojabijeokchukmyeon' (red leaf color and late bolting) and 'Meokchima' (Deep red and low yield). The cross and selection for advanced lines had been done by the pedigree method during 2000-2007. The advanced lines were evaluated for yield and adaptability at several locations in Korea (Gangwon-do, Gyeonggi-do, Chungcheongbuk-do, Jeollabuk-do, Gyeongnam-do, and Jeju-do) from 2008 to 2009. The 'Chunpungjeokchukmyeon' has gray seed color and traverse elliptic leaves. The type of matured stage is medium shape between 'chukmyeon' and 'chima' leaf lettuce. Compared to 'Dukseomjeokchukmyeon', marketable yield of 'Chunpungjeokchukmyeon' was higher by 6% (at 372 g per plant) and 'Chunpungjeokchukmyeon' has particularly improved expression of deep red leaf color in high temperature cultivation in the field. The shelf-life of 'Chunpungjeokchukmyeon' was three weeks longer than 'Dukseomjeokchukmyeon' at 4$^{\circ}C$. The anthocyanin content of 'Chunpungjeokchukmyeon' was higher than that of 'Dukseomjeokchukmyeon' with 17.5 mg/100g. The BSL (latucin+8-deoxylactucin+lactucopicrin) content of 'Chunpungjeokchukmyeon' is lower than that of 'Dukseomjeokchukmyeon'. Furthermore, its taste is better, more crispy, and sweeter than those of 'Dukseomjeokchukmyeon'. So we recommend that new cultivar 'Chunpungjeokchukmyeon' can be suitable for cultivation in spring season than summer season.

Anti-Oxidant Effect and Anti-Inflammatory of Fermented Citrus unshiu Peel Extract by using Schizophyllum commune (치마버섯을 이용한 진피 발효 배양물의 항산화 및 항염 효과)

  • Citrus unshiu (C. unshiu) Markovich were dried peel of mandarin orange, of which fresh fruit was one of the famous foods in Korea and Eastern Asia. In the oriental medicine, C. unshiu peel was known to have a diuretic effect and to strengthen spleen function. Recently, natural flavonoids of C. unshiu peel have been investigated. In this study, C. unshiu peel extract containing flavonoid-glycosides was cultured with Schizophyllum commune (S. commune) mycelia producing ${\beta}$-glu- cosidase and its biological activities were investigated. ${\beta}$-glucosidase of S. commune mycelia converted the flavonoid-glycosides (rutin and hesperidin) into aglycones (naringenin and hesperetin). Fermented C. unshiu peel extract compounds were analyzed by HPLC system. The photoprotective potential of fermented C. unshiu peel extract was tested in human dermal fibroblasts (HDFs) exposed to UVA. Fermented C. unshiu peel extract extract also showed notable in vitro anti-inflammatory effect on cellular systems generating cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) and 5-lipoxygenase (5-LOX) metabolites. Also, UVB-induced production of interleukin-$1{\alpha}$ in human HaCaT cells was reduced in a dose-dependent manner by treatment with fermented C. unshiu peel extract. These results suggest that fermented C. unshiu peel extract may mitigate the effects of photoaging in skin by reducing UV-induced adverse skin reaction.

  • 식물공장 내 작물의 생육은 제공되는 인공광원의 광원 및 광질에 영향을 받으며, 광흡수 파장에 따라 다르다. 또한 광합성에 효과적인 형태의 빛의 계속적인 빛의 조사보다는 광 펄스를 조절하여 공급하여 준다면 더욱더 효과적인 생육 환경을 제공해 줄 수 있다. 식물의 최적 생장을 위해 특정 파장대의 빛을 선택적으로 조사할 수 있는 LED특성을 사용하여 UV광원을 포함한 인공광원의 펄스폭 변조에 따른 적치마 상추의 생육특성을 알아보고자 하였다. 광환경은 Red(660 nm), Blue(450 nm), UV(395 nm) LED를 8:1:1 비율로 광량 $160{\mu}mol{\cdot}m^2{\cdot}s^{-1}$, 주파수 1.25, 2.5, 3.75, 5.0 kHz로 조사하여 주었으며, 온도 $20{\sim}23^{\circ}C$, 습도 50~60%, $CO_2$농도 1,000 ppm으로 조성하여 주었다. 아시아종묘 적치마상추를 파종 후 18일 째 되는날 정식, 정식 후 14일 28일 째 되는날 SPAD, 지상부 지하부의 생체중 및 건물중, 엽폭, 엽장을 측정하였으며, 측정한 엽폭과 엽장을 이용하여 엽형지수 산출, 지상부 지하부 생체중 값을 이용하여 S/R율을 산출하였다. SPAD 측정결과 생육시기가 증가할수록 SPAD함량은 감소하였으며, 1.25와 2.5 kHz에서 생육 시기 증가에 대한 SPAD함량 감소가 컸고, 3.75와 5.0 kHz의 경우 SPAD함량의 감소량은 작았다. 지상부 생체중은 3.75 kHz에서 121.51 g으로 가장 높은 값을 나타냈으며, 2.5, 1.75, 5.0 kHz 순으로 높은 값을 나타났다. 지하부 생체중의 경우 3.75 kHz에서 31.31 g으로 가장 높은 값을 나타냈으며 2.5, 5.0, 1.25 kHz 순으로 높게 나타났다. 엽형지수는 생육 시기가 증가에 따라 감소하는 것으로 나타났으며, 1.75, 2.5, 5.0, 3.75 kHz 순으로 크게 나타났다. 지상부 건물중 측정결과는 지상부 생체중 결과와, 지하부 건물중의 측정결과는 지하부 생체중 결과와 동일하였다. S/R율은 1.75 kHz를 제외하고 생육시기가 증가할수록 S/R율은 감소하는 것으로 나타났으며, 주파수가 높아질수록 S/R율은 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 엽형지수는 엽폭/엽장으로 엽형지수를 산출한 결과로 값이 작을수록 엽폭이 넓은 형태를 의미하며, 생체중값이 가장 크게 나타났던 3.75 kHz에서 엽형지수의 값이 가장 낮게 나타났으며 3.75 kHz를 제외하고 주파수가 높을수록 엽형지수의 값이 낮게 나타났다. 이에 주파수에 따른 적상추의 생육은 3.75 kHz에서 가장 좋은 것으로 판단할 수 있었다.

Effect of Nutrient Solution Concentration in the Second Half of Growing Period on the Growth and Postharvest Quality of Leaf Lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) in a Deep Flow Technique System (담액수경재배 시 재배후기 양액농도가 상추의 생장 및 수확후 품질에 미치는 영향)

  • We examined the effect of nutrient solution concentration in the second half of growing period on the pre- and postharvest characteristics of two leaf lettuce cultivars, 'Geokchima' and 'Cheongchima'. Plants were grown hydroponically in a deep flow technique (DFT) system at different concentrations of National Horticulture Research Institute hydroponic nutrient solution: 1/2 strength (S), 1S, 2S, and 4S. Lettuce leaf growth, number of leaves, and shoot fresh weight of both cultivars were greatest in plants grown in the 1S treatment. Compared to other treatments, pigment and nutrient ion contents were greater in the 4S treatment. Growth of lettuce was greatest in the 1S treatment, and decreased at higher or lower concentrations of nutrient solution. However, postharvest characteristics such as fresh weight loss, leaf chlorophyll level, and external appearance were better in both cultivars when grown in 2S solution. Variations in weight loss and SPAD values were smallest in the 2S treatment. These results show that the optimal nutrient concentration for growth does not necessarily provide the optimal postharvest storability.

Morphological Characteristics of Artificially Cultivated Dictyophora echinovolvata (인공재배한 흰돌기망태버섯(Dictyophora echinovolvata)의 형태적 특징)

  • This study was conducted to investigate morphological characteristics of veiled lady mushroom (Dictyophora sp.). Morphological observation of mycelium showed the presence of chlamydospore-like swelling cells, and typical mycelial champ connections. Fruiting body of the veiled lady mushroom consists of cap, velum, stipe, and vulva. Oval-shaped eggs were surrounded by exodermis, gelatin layers and endodermis, and the fruiting bodies remained inside volva as liquid gelatin layer. Dark green spore layer was formed at the top of cap. The surface eggs in the cultivated veiled lady mushroom was covered with white needle-shaped mycelial projection that was oval in shape. The velum of fruiting body stretched down to the top of volva. The net was regularly shaped, and smelled like fragrance with chestnut flower. The strain KACC 50650 was identified as Dictyophora echinovolvata based on the morphology of eggs and fruiting bodies, and named as Huin-Dol-Gi-Mang-Tae mushroom in Korean.
